Vacation rentals with breakfast in Rumney

We were made to feel welcome even before we arrived. Fantastic base in Cardiff for going to the Principality stadium. Everything was within walking distance and a few great pubs really close.

Excellent house which suited us down to the ground; being in a peaceful locality, of high standard of finish, very well equipped and comfortable house situated in a lovely area. Easily ranks among the best Airb&b houses we have rented.

Waterloo too has become one of my favourite places to visit. Beautiful surroundings with a very welcoming host who loves to show off her place and quite rightly so. There are lots of visitors to her bird feeders, your own private garden, although you are welcome to sit in Melissa's garden next to her pond and a few feet away from her orchard, where a mattress has thoughtfully been placed for any stargazer's to use. One of the best breakfast hamper I've encountered with fresh eggs from her friends chickens, local butter, small loaf, and small jars of jam etc. Cereal was also provided along with usual tea and coffee and coffee for the cafetiere as well and not forgetting the pint of milk as well. Will definitely be returning 🤗

Stayed at Daniel's place for a night. He was really responsive, kind, and helpful with any questions we had. The place is spacious and offers everything you need.

Great location for Golf

Absolutely stunning home where we stayed as a family for one night to watch Wales play rugby in the Principality Stadium. Mark was a lovely, friendly host who let us check in early and met us at the property. He gave us lots of information and told us that there was a train station 10 minutes away and even offered to drop us there but we decided to get a taxi as there were 7 of us. Mark was extremely helpful and replied to all our messages and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mark and his beautiful family home to anyone wishing to stay near Cardiff. We loved the pastries and the chocolates Mark told us to help ourselves to and we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property in a great location for visiting the Beach. Great view from the property with horses grazing in the adjoining field. Very homely, comfortable furnishings with an open wood burning fireplace. Three double bedrooms, with 1 en-suite. Highly recommended.

on arrival we were a little late getting codes for entry but very quickly remedied via message, the yard (on approach to the house) was crack and broken concrete but didn't affect us at all. overall our stay was great with no other issues, flat was in great shape, clean and as others have stated we appreciated the jams, butter, bread etc ( thank you nice touch) overall we really enjoyed our stay. thanks kirsten.

So so glad we booked this apartment! it's the perfect location to be close to and enjoy the town centre without being disturbed by the night life. The hosts were absolutely amazing, we had left the main key in an uber and they were so helpful and even offered to meet us where we had gone for dinner to drop the spare off! honestly could not recommend this place enough

Quiet, smart location with a co op supermarket nearby if you go under the railway bridge and over the road. Not as central as we thought, so had to get taxis into town but easy if you have an uber account. Sam was very responsive from the outset. Quick to reply and helpful. The apartment is very newly done and the beds were very comfortable with high quality bedding and towels. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided in the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Instructions for entry were clear and easy.

When we return to Cardiff one day, we will definitely be staying here again! Great location, walking distance to everything so no money required on transport. For the location and how close to the city centre it is, the price is amazing. Clear instructions for check in, very responsive host who is happy to help with any queries. The apartment itself was very clean on arrival. Essentials were also provided, such as butter, milk, bread and various other items which was a lovely touch. Overall, I don’t have a bad thing to say about our stay.

Julie is an excellent host with a beautiful house in a great location. The room is perfect. Julie's mother is completely charming and Paddy the dog is very friendly once he knows you. We only stayed 2 days and wish that we'd stayed longer to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the house.

My friend and I had a brilliant 4 night stay at Sian’s. The location suited our interest in walking and natural history (hills, meadows, Usk valley and the canal) and there were plenty of options for eating out nearby (with a car). Their house, garden and offering were amazing, we felt like we’d struck gold! Everything clean and good quality, a delicious breakfast and hosts on hand when needed and always happy to offer local knowledge and advice, such as route planning and local history. It’s a beautiful part of Wales, and we’d love to visit again. Highly recommend a stay here.

What can I say? From the moment I arrived, Naomi was warm and welcoming and made me feel completely at home. She was full of great recommendations for coffee shops and nearby restaurants (there are a number of great ones) and knowledgable about fun day trips and local must-sees. Along with her husband Dave and son Michael, Naomi made my stay a lovely and stress-free one and I would wholeheartedly recommend their home for a stay in Cardiff. Thank you so much, Naomi. You couldn't possibly have been a more gracious host. :)

I can honestly recommend a stay at the Shed without any hesitation at all. It's comfortable, very contemporary and squeaky clean. Lynne met me on arrival, she was very friendly helpfully showing me around, told me how things worked and describing the local area before leaving me to settle in. The lovely comfort of the Shed is enhanced by the convenient extras thoughtfully provided by Lynne such as the unexpected welcome pack, an emergency sewing kit, first aid kit, local guides, dvds and many more. The Shed's location was perfect for my walks, sightseeing and just chilling. Thank you Lynne I hope I get the chance to stay in the The Shed again soon.

I really like the locations, also very clean inside the rooms also the toilets. I definitely recommend for daily trips.

Had a lovely stay at Val’s place. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The bed was cozy, and all the little touches (like extra towels, coffee, and toiletries) made it feel like home. Val and Alan was incredibly welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, making it a great location for relaxation. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay!

We had a wonderful time in Stuart and Jaynes place. They were both very discreet and always available to help. The rooms were very comfy, the place was spotless, breakfast was extensive. Stuart brought us into town and back twice, which was really above and beyond what we expected. Looking forward to welcoming them to france to return the hospitality!

Anne was a friendly & accommodating host. A dab hand at reading her guests and recommending just the right things for them. Our one night stay at Yew Tree as we passed through Somerset was just the ticket! Annes breakfast before we left was outstanding. Delicious fresh, local produce. We couldn't have asked for a better start to the day! Thank you!
