Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ruiru

if you are looking for a place that's chill, safe and on a budget, look no further, we stayed there for a month and it was really nice. the place itself was clean spacious enough for the two of us with a nice green yard to hang out in. Jay was always responsive and very helpful, even with things not related to our accommodation. we felt like we made new friends and it was sad to leave.

It's a very lovely and green and quiet home in Karen - the place instantly makes you feel at peace. Enjoy being in nature but still close to Karen places. I have been there twice now and would definitely visit again!

We traveled to Nairobi for 2 weeks to be close to our son's family, who live nearby. Specioza's place was as described, very secluded and private, with beautiful grounds, and all the amenities you would need for a short or long stay. Specioza and Peter (the groundskeeper) were very responsive, and flexible with our booking. However, guests should be aware that you absolutely need to have your own vehicle to access this property, and in rainy weather, you would need AWD. We typically get around via Uber, and often order grocery and restaurant deliveries, but none of these options were available to us, due to the long dirt road leading to the remote property. Fortunately, we were able to borrow an AWD vehicle from our son, which made our stay workable and pleasant. We would highly recommend this property if you like a very quiet and secluded setting, and have your own vehicle. We would definitely consider this property again for future visits.

Extremely clean and cozy place, surrounded by nice places to eat out and shopping malls. The place is a haven, with extra spaces for chilling or working. She has put thought on the decor and the garden is well taken care of, making it a memorable place. Jacque is extremely kind and very communicative. I will definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay, unfortunately shorter than we had planned but Katelyn was extremely accommodating and the cottage was cosy and comfortable with really nice personal touches to make us feel welcome. The cottage was also located in a great area close to everything you might need.

My family absolutely loved this place! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect and peaceful. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we felt welcome. We’d definitely stay here again!

Joyce is a very pleasant and responsible host, we enjoyed staying at her place. The staff is well trained and ready to help any time. We found the house very clean and tidy, location is convenient and easy to find. Village Market and Two Rivers malls are a few minutes driving. We would highly recommend Joyce’s place!

Angie was really communicative and attentive. She was there when we needed her to be both to check in and check out. It was easy to walk to the giraffe centre which took about 5 minutes and about 25 minutes walk which felt safe to Hardy Post where there was a European focused supermarket and we could get a Matatu to Karen roundabout. It felt secure at the house and was very clean and spacious.

What you see is what you get — the place was beautiful! Definitely worth the price, would stay there again!

Overall, everything was satisfactory. The instructions were accurate during the check-in process, and the host responded kindly. The accommodation is located on the high, so the view is nice and nice. The bedding in the accommodation was also clean and comfortable. If I travel to Nairobi, it was an accommodation worth using in the future!!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Nairobi! The place was exactly as described — clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The attention to detail was impressive, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful amenities provided. The location was perfect — close enough to access key parts of the city easily, yet peaceful enough to unwind after a long day. I felt safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. What really stood out was the host’s hospitality. Communication was smooth, check-in was effortless, and they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nairobi — whether for business or leisure, this place ticks all the boxes. A 5-star experience all the way!

I enjoyed staying at this apartment. Joan always responded to my inquires. I have stayed in these buildings before and can confirm the area is a superb location to be based at. If a view from the apartment is a requirement, there is no view. It's blocked by an apartment building beside it. I personally didn't need the view. Everything was as described and as seen in the pictures.

A very nice serviced apartment with a lovely terrace. Daily very thorough cleaning. Water dispenser. The kitchen has electric kettle, microwave, oven and stove, but there were no pots or pans whatsoever. Maybe we could have asked for them, if we really felt like it, because we were actually upgraded to a slightly larger studio when we arrived. So perhaps the room hadn't been fully prepared. But everything else was lovely.

Stacked in the middle of the “Forest”, surrounded by nature, perfect getaway. Friendly host, my only problem is that we tried using the bathtub but could not. Other than that i would highly recommend

Lovely lakeside house- so peaceful. Great for a small family or a slightly larger group. We enjoyed the coffee farm tour and the trip to see the animals. Mostly we enjoyed the quiet of the gardens and getting away from the city into nature. The WiFi works great and there is good mobile signal but I would definitely recommend losing the phone for your time there and relaxing instead! The guys onsite were really helpful and great with our 2 small children, who had a wonderful time. We've already recommended to several friends.

Ol Losowan proved to be a very peaceful place to spend our final few days in Kenya before flying back to the U. K. Within walking distance of the Giraffe Centre, we took in that experience and then cooled off in the beautiful saline pool and read beneath the trees and umbrellas. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds made for restful nights, and we made the most of the kitchen and bbq facilities to prepare most of our meals on site to the sound of the tree hyraxes and bush babies. Thank you for hosting us Julie and your team. Our only disappointment was that we never got to meet you in person!
