Atmospheric red cabin

Atmospheric red cottage in the village of Rautiosaari by the river 16km from Rovaniemi city center. Your own car is necessary. Parking space is easy to find in front of the cottage. Car heating is also possible. From your own yard you can go directly to the river for outdoor activities and ice fishing. For the youngest in the family, there is a sledding hill (2 sleds) and the Rautiosaari ski trail starts 300m away. Linens and towels are included. The host is nearby, if you have any questions or problems, you can contact them by phone.

Charming log cabin on the shore of Kemijoki

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a nice log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. A cozy cottage in peace surrounded by forest just a ten-minute drive from Santa's village. The city center is only a few kilometers away. The cottage yard has its own fireplace, where you can spend an atmospheric evening and see the northern lights if you're lucky. From the home road, there is a connection to the bike path, where there is an opportunity for jogging. Nearby is the Santavaara King's lean-to, where I recommend visiting to admire the magnificent nature of Lapland and the Ounasjoki River.

The cottage is equipped with stone fireplace, kitchen, coffee maker, electric stoves, refrigerator with freezer, microwave and an ironing machine with stand. The cottage also has a bedroom with a double bed along with bathroom and an indoor WC. One can also indulge in the famous Finnish sauna as the cottage has an electric sauna too. Cabin under the Northern Lights

Here you can do skiing, snowshoeing, and fishing. In addition, we organize snowmobile tours as desired. The cottage is about 75km to the city of Rovaniemi. Ice fishing tour 40€ person, 1-2h. Lapland cabin by a lake

This traditional Lappish log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and water for washing in sauna is taken from the lake.

You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights. The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.

Enjoy Lapland's nature and lovely sauna in privacy. Accommodation and experiences in same place. Modern cottage (2023, 48m²).
