Located in the countryside yet very close to Canterbury , University & Whitstable. This room is completely private and not overlooked, with its own private patio. Connected to the house but with its own entrance . A great place to unwind but also convenient for all of Canterbury's many attractions. Breakfast is left for you in the kitchen to be prepared by yourself at leisure. The breakfast is as listed; tea or coffee, toast and butter and two types of jam and granola . We allow one good dog .

Our Annexe is a modern, cozy space, with free parking. The annexe is adjoining our home, but guests have their own private entrance. Inside is a spacious lounge, with settee, table and chairs, TV with Netflix and WiFi. To set our guests up for the day, we offer a selection of complementary, delicious, home baked pastries for breakfast. There is a seperate good sized, bedroom overlooking the garden,with a double bed and wardrobe. There is modern shower room with toiletries provided.

Anne was a lovely host. I stayed for 5 days and went to a different show at the Canterbury Festival each evening. I worked from my room during the day & Anne kindly provided a desk & chair for me. The location was perfect for all the different venues I went to - only ever a 25 minute walk max 😊

A dining area features a black table surrounded by six chairs with red cushions. Large windows are draped with sheer white curtains, allowing natural light to filter through. A small outdoor space, visible through the glass doors, includes greenery and a small dog.

Staying with Timea (and Fuji) was great! The space is very warm and Timea was incredibly welcoming. It was very easy to access with zero stress for parking and close enough to Canterbury centre to be walkable. I highly recommend staying ☺️

We had a lovely weekend at Herne Bag. Clive’s place was the perfect fusion of amenities, ambiance and proximity to the Beach. He was very sweet and helpful right from making the booking to bidding goodbye! We would definitely visit again. This place has our heart!

Great location for touring - South East Coast, Canterbury, Dover... Friendly host, accommodation was just what I needed for my 3 days exploring Kent. Excellent central location, brilliant bus route into Canterbury.

Truda was a lovely host. Our room was all we needed with a very comfortable bed and black out curtains. The en suite had body wash, shampoo & conditioner available for our use. A kettle with tea & coffee making facilities was in our room. Trudy left us a great breakfast - cereal, home made bread & home made jam as well as fresh fruit. We had the use of the whole fridge in the kitchen. We hardly saw Truda as she had a busy weekend, but was very quick to answer my messages. Truda’s beautiful home is in a good location to explore Canterbury.

Heather's place was awesome! Easy to find and check in. Everything was clean and ready. Short walk to the town center and the attractions there, as well as not far from both railway stations. I stayed for 5 nights and felt welcome and comfortable the whole time. All in all a great stay!
