Welcome to our holiday apartment directly on the Saale cycling trail in Rudolstadt! Since we as a young family have not found a suitably equipped apartment for us for a long time when we came to visit, we have set up our own, which meets (almost) all needs. Solo travelers, couples, friends as well as families with (small) children and pets should feel a bit at home in this retreat, which has been furnished with a lot of time and love.

I offer a vacation rental in the center of Saalfeld. The apartment is equipped with everything (except salt, pepper and oil) and has a separate entrance. Everything worth seeing in Saalfeld can be reached on foot and there is free parking behind the house. Opposite is another (1 room) apartment that I also rent via Airbnb. When booking the property for tourist activities, a tourist tax is due. The parking is monitored by cameras.

Deutsch: (for english please use Google translate) The whole apartment is fully equipped, there is an Aldi supermarket across the street and the city center is within easy walking distance. The entrance to the city park is 20 meters away. There is a beer garden with wonderful food in the middle of the park and a famous Michelin (1) restaurant very close by.

Our place is absolutely quiet. In just a few steps you are in nature. It is ideal for 2 adults and 2-3 children. The large garden with a stream is ideal for children. In the immediate vicinity are cross-country trails and the biathlon stadium with ski roller train and ski lift, sledding slope, MTB trails and hiking trails. Fichtelsee is a 20-minute walk away. The place is very spacious, located in a quiet location surrounded by chickens, sheep, horses, llamas and alpacas. Ideal for walking and cycling, separate entrance, private terrace, parking or carport, cozy small wellness area, highway accessible in 7 km, leisure facilities nearby. Funpark, swimming pool, restaurants, shopping are just a few minutes away by car.

Forest Hideout

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
