Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Rockaway Beach

This place is magical! It’s on the edge of the forest and a few blocks to ocean. After a morning soak in the awesome hot tub on deck we walked in to the forest. It was awe inspiring under the huge canopy of trees. I felt so connected to Mother Nature at that moment. The home was spotlessly clean on arrival with a number of beds and enough space for a large family. Very comfortable and well stocked, even had a pet basket, we felt right at home. Wished we could have stayed longer and are already making plans to come back this summer. Kylee was very accommodating, we booked last minute and she extended us a late checkout so we could have a lazy morning and enjoy the place. 100% recommend this place!

Enjoyed our stay. Lots of outdoor seating locations which was nice as the beach was quite windy during our visit. Hot tub plenty warm and nice setting but a little on the small side. Kitchen great and well stocked, especially the excellent knife collection, thank you!!

So nice we’ve stayed twice! This is our second stay at Mandog Manor and we loved it just as much as the first! The cozy suite has everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. The bed is super comfy and the hot tub and patio are the perfect place to spend some time in the mornings and evenings. Kimberly is a personable and thoughtful host. 10/10 recommend!

All of us --three generations--had a wonderfully amazing time at Christine's Pelican Haus! The location--a short walk to a magnificent beach and park and a three minute car ride to some great restaurants (a little longer ride to Wanda's was so worth it!)--truly made our mini vacation SO enjoyable and memorable. At the home, the outdoor hot tub and play equipment, and the indoor movies, music, and games provided fun for all ages. The kitchen was well-stocked, the dogs needs were attended to, and there was lots of room for each of us to enjoy our private time also. In other words, because the ambience was so wonderful, we had such a special, lovely, just simply A+ vacation. We hope that one day we might be back. Christine, your flexibility made this work. Thank you for your generous and kind hospitality.

We had our annual ladies trip to the coast and we loved Sarah’s house! We enjoyed coffee every morning on the deck overlooking the golf course and a wood fire indoors every night while playing card games. A quick walk to the beach was wonderful too! We loved the decor of the house and all the yellow pops of color we would find! Thank you Sarah for allowing us to enjoy your house!

A second time here and I’ve already booked my third for later this year, this location is perfect and Dee is a fantastic host. I really appreciate their communication and commitment to making sure their guests are comfortable, safe and pleased with their stay. I will continue to visit as long as Dee will have me!

Very private quiet location with the perfect amount of beds and baths for our family. This was a last minute trip for us, but the hosts were very quick to respond and wonderfully accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

Nathaniel and Nadja were such responsive, thoughtful hosts! Reminded me of what Airbnb was in the beginning-- someone's genuine home that is cared for and has everything you might need. They were welcoming and accommodating and the cottage was just so cozy and perfect. Highly recommend!

The Sand Dollar is a great place to stay. It's right across the road from the ocean. The road noise can be a bit loud, but it's more like white noise, and Sally provides earplugs. The kitchen is well stocked, and she also provides great toiletries. This part of Rockaway Beach is very close for walking to the water as well as bars, restaurants, and shops. I would stay here again.

We traveled from Montana with another family to adventure the area during our kids spring break. The house accommodated everyone (8 people) very well! We were able cook meals here often and take in the ocean views. Very quick walk (across a busy street) to the beach. The beds are super comfy and having 3 full bathrooms was a plus. This house was exactly what we needed!

We will definitely be returning! This Air bnb was everything we needed. Only thing that was a bummer was the lot across the street was getting some tree clearing done for some possible construction I would imagine. So every morning we were there we got woken up early with chainsaws even on Memorial Day..this was completely out of control of the host. Thank you for a comfortable stay in your home! We can’t wait to return!

We had a great weekend at Rhonda’s place, the blue mermaid! The setup was perfect, common areas in the middle, a master with king bed on one side and 2 bedrooms & bath on the other! It is dog friendly which is perfect, our dog loves the beach and she had a blast! The backyard is small but perfect to let our dog out in the morning. It is walkable! We walked to the beach with 2 little kids no problem (but they are an active fam). I would stay at Rhonda’s place again. Also would like to mention after we checked out, 30 mins down the road a family member realized 2 jackets were left behind. I texted Rhonda, she said cleaning found them & she let us go back to get them. We appreciate that!! Great place to stay, dog friendly, walkable & it had everything we needed for the weekend. Great place! Walk to beach is even closer than described. The place was very clean and had lots of room. Very comfortable and relaxing.

Cute and cozy place to stay for a long weekend at the beach! The couch pullout and projector made for the perfect movie night setup. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make dinner and the bathroom was very clean. Location was close to the beach but removed enough from the touristy hustle bustle to feel private. Would recommend!

Great stay from start to end, you can tell Kelli and her family put a lot of love and thought into the home and providing a great space for guests. My children loved all the books, toys and plenty room to enjoy. Thank you for sharing this gem in Oceanside!

Loved this stay, clean and great location!! Only issue we had was with the lock to the front door. Key would not work. Great views and right next to the pool!

Started out shaky due to cleaning service, not Austin. The unit cleaning was incomplete, no bed linens etc dirty linens piled in front of W/D closet after long day of travel arriving in the dark of night. Austin quickly responded and offered emergency clean the next morning, refunded cleaning fee and partial refund of rental. After check out the cleaning service did come to the rescue securing a watch left behind-so all in all great response. Unit is dated but sort of family beach vintage. It’s comfortable with easy beach access. We had a great stay and enjoyed evening wine on top floor with partial water view.

We had an amazing weekend at the Nestucca Nest! This property is perched on the hillside with breathtaking views of the river, ocean and Haystack rock. Great home for traveling families and access to the clubhouse, with use of the pool and gym were definitely a plus! Beautiful design, very clean and accommodating. This property comes highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Great condo, quiet and the indoor heated pool was nice for our daughter. The fresh foods market was very convenient and was nicely stocked with a good selection of food during our stay.

The pictures do not do this place enough justice! This may be the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed in. The views especially at sunrise and sunset are breathtaking. We were informed a couple of weeks before our stay the hot tub was not working, but they did refund our hot tub fee and let us use the community facilities (although we never made it over there). This place has everything you will need, and an especially well stocked kitchen.
