Home in Montecatini Alto
5 out of 5 average rating, 33 reviewsMontecatini Alto Art View

Annalisa and her husband, Michele, were very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and even helped me get boxes for shipping and drying my clothes. The space is super clean and well organized. They have thought of everything. The mattresses were very comfortable and the space is peaceful. We slept really well. I highly recommend staying here!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this accommodation! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth – the hostess is incredibly kind and genuinely lovely. She made us feel right at home and was always helpful and attentive. The place itself is an absolute dream – beautifully decorated, very peaceful, and spotlessly clean. You can really tell that a lot of care and love has gone into every detail. A special highlight: the beds were unbelievably comfortable – we haven’t slept that well in ages! One important tip. It’s definitely a good idea to arrive by car, as the location is a bit remote – which adds to its charm if you’re looking for peace and quiet. We would come back in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the fresh mountain air. It is an old house so the isolation is very good and the temperature inside was pretty cool, even when it was 30°+ outside. I would imagine that the house would be a bit difficult to get to with a smaller car because of the steep road, but we rented out a good car so it was no problem for us. The GPS address leads you right to the house so that is not a problem. The apartment was very clean and the host responded to our messages very quickly. Highly recommend!

Piero was a fantastic host who was always friendly, welcoming and warm. His B&B is set in the countryside hills and has a fantastic location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of a big city but also able to travel to a few locations to visit. The breakfast put out for us was always a great variety of things and made at whatever time you ask for. Each day Piero would check in to see if he could help, did we need anything else and would always have some bottles of water for us to take out on our day. One evening we joined him and 2 other guests for home made pizza which was a fantastic treat and we had the option to use the BBQ in the garden also. Within the accommodation we also had our own kitchen we could cook in which had all the things you need to make simple meals too. The apartment also had a private bathroom, washing machine, dining area, a pair of sofas and TV lounge area and 2 beds. Everything was clean and well decorated, it also had it own air conditioner!

This is a wonderful place to stay. A daybed for 1 and futon would accommodate two for a total of three. Lovely sized bathroom. Nice kitchen area and stove to cook. Well stocked and lovely assortment of breakfast treats. There is boxed milk, oil, kitchen soap, soap, and shampoo for the bathroom. It has cable TV, but no Internet. I was able to use my phone’s cellular data and make calls, use apps and use my GPS. Nice table with four chairs for eating and working. Nice heating and you can open the sliding doors to the balcony and windows for ventilation and fresh air. Cute balcony overlooking the street where you can sip coffee and enjoy the local traffic as it overlook a small road through the town. Super clean - could eat off the floors. It’s a bit of a drive about 45 minutes to Bologna and in the Italian countryside. I went in May and flowers were in bloom everywhere. It was well worth the drive back-and-forth to Bologna for my business trip . There’s a small town about 15 mi
