Fantastic place! We couldn't date this more highly, the host was so friendly, our sons loved all the farm animals, and our yurt was cozy and clean. The facilities were superb. And there is so much to do nearby we will definitely return!

Moonacre Yurt

EmmaRating, 5 stars70 months ago
We wanted a place where our family could connect, the children could experience a different way of life (we’re townies!) and our lungs could fill with fresh air. Moonacre Yurt hit the spot!! Surrounded by chickens, cows and Mother Nature, we soaked up as much of the atmosphere and Dide’s knowledge as possible. What a wonderful host, encouraging the kids to collect fresh eggs and talking to them about biodynamic farming, such a pleasure! Not a place for those of you wanting creature comforts (compost toilet, walk outside the yurt to get to bathroom and kitchen) but oh so wonderful for a snippet of the good life...

Nice access onto riverside footpath root. Also super Farm Cafe on site and pub just along the lane. Recommend a visit and shall return ourselves again.

Two Welsh yurts

YawRating, 5 stars33 months ago
Wonderful yurts in a little slice of Welsh heaven. Set in the valley these wonderful yurts are well equipped and very very comfortable. Little woodburners inside for chilly nights, firepits outside for roasting marshmellows. Merlins bus, which was converted into the kitchen/diner is great for cooking meals. We enjoyed gorgeous walks in the area or a trip to the beach at Aberdovey. Frances is amazing and is very caring towards her guests. Its a wonderful place to come to get away from it all. Really great for young kids too. Great for them to explore the woods and collect firewood etc. We’ve been coming for around 8 yrs and have loved it everytime.

Magical Yurt in Urban Garden

JulianRating, 5 stars3 days ago
very happy returning to Vik's yurt - to be in the middle of a big city, yet in a totally peaceful spot with birds in the trees and greenery all around, it's a great gift! to arrive to a chat and a cuppa, and later an early dinner is a bonus - and to be dropped off at the MAC for my gig, a double bonus - near enough to walk home afterwards. If that's the kind of place you like, you'll be as happy as me ( and that's happy!)

The Orange Yurt, Old Chapel Farm, farmstay

XinyiRating, 5 stars9 months ago
It was a great experience! It was the first time for my four year old to experience a yurt and learn( more like to watch) how to light a fire! And it was so romantic to have a bbq under full sky of stars! The kitchen converted by a school bus was genius! My son enjoyed it so much! It takes about five mins walk to go to the toilet/bathroom from the yurt. Fran and Kevin were very easy to communicate and friendly!

Secluded & Cosy Yurt in the Forest of Dean

FayadhRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Great place! It’s peaceful. We were unfortunate that we had to cancel our BBQ plan because of poor weather. Debbora had kindly set up everything for us. She entertained our requests and was very responsive with communication. We only stayed for a night but we would definitely like to return and spend longer if we have time!

Lake Yurt at Go Eco Glamping

RyanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Just returned from the most peaceful few days staying in the beautiful lake yurt. We were left in awe of what Carol and her husband have managed to achieve: a reasonably priced, eco friendly experience but somehow not at the cost of having to compromise your creature comforts. Honestly, if it didn’t say it in the name it would be easy to stay and not even realise their efforts to cater to their guests whilst also caring about the planet. We spent the mornings being greeted by the most beautiful birds who let us feed them (nuts provided by carol), spent our days either walking through the serene surroundings, making use of the on site pedalo to relax on the private lake, visiting the gorgeous beaches practically on the doorstep and spent our evenings relaxing in the wood fired hot tub and star gazing. By far the best Airbnb experience I have had and we can’t wait to return. If you are looking for a break from the rat race and to emerse yourself in nature, this is the place for you!

Wonderful yurt in the Cotswolds

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The yurt is in a lovely spot, felt so peaceful listening to the birds, and watching the horses. Really enjoyed sitting with a fire and watching bats in the evening. The yurt was just as described and great for a weekend stay. The games compendium is a lovely touch, I relearned dominos!

Down by the river, entire space for gatherings.

JeanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We recently stayed at Sarah's campsite with friends (group of 11 including kids), and despite the rain, we had an absolutely wonderful time. The campsite was well-maintained, with clean facilities and plenty of space for our group to set up comfortably. The covered kitchen was a lifesaver during the wet weather, allowing us to stay warm and enjoy meals together without any hassle. The kids had a blast exploring the surroundings and particularly making a makeshift dam with rocks in the stream, and the adults appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views. Sarah was also incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

YURTS - hand-crafted with private outdoor shower

AmieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This place was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly what me and my family needed to get away from busy life. It was peaceful and idyllic and had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Norman was extremely helpful and kind and although he and his wife were away at the time, he provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay beforehand. Our two young daughters absolutely loved the area and the yurt itself and it felt safe and secure for them to run around and enjoy themselves while we were there. Thank you both for allowing us to stay in your beautiful orchard. We will definitely be back in the future 💗

The Olive Tree

PavlinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wonderful place! It was exactly as you see it on the pictures. Quiet and peaceful. Sean had left a welcome note with little Welsh treats for us- kind gesture-thank you very much for it. We were lucky with the weather, only one rainy evening. There was everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Lots to explore in the surroundings and the local pubs were a good bonus.

Magical Welsh Woodland Yurt

DavisRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Where to start... location - beautiful hillside, superbly private and remote with direct acces to a path that leads to breathtaking views, yet very close to Barmouth and shops if necessary. Yurt - amazingly kept, cosy and has everything you need for a very, very comfortable camping trip. Ultimate place to rest after a long day of walking. And super friendly for families with plenty of space for a monopoly game in front of a warm fire. Amenities - You got everything you need. From cooking up a bbq, to boiling a soup over the fire to having a panfried eggs for brekkie - everything is available and tip top quality. Shower and toilet are squeaky clean, easy to access and private. Host - can't thank Rob and the family enough for the warm welcome and making everything a breeze. Nothing, but respect for the effort they have put in the place to make it feel like home, yet so close to nature and special. And thanks for lending me the guitar Rob - made the evenings that much more special. :)

Luxurious Yurt Mendips Outstanding Natural Beauty

AnnemieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had the best time at Tim's place! The location exceeded our expectations, it was so peaceful with loads to do and we even saw the resident deer a couple of times. We had a hammock, swings for the kids, a badminton court, firepit area with loads of wood. But make sure you are up for a steep walk to and from the car park as not suited for people with any knee or ankle issues. The yurt was spectacular too with everything you would expect and the furnishings are beautiful 🐝! Thank you Tim for a lovely stay!

Seren Saith yurt and open lodge

HollieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Myself and partner have just got back from a lovely unique stay at Davids place. It was quiet and private and a perfect get away from the stresses of everyday life. The unique rustic hideaway was well equipped and was perfect for all weathers. The log burners and the outside living space with the outside bath was our favourite thing. Surrounded by the horses and wildlife was also an added bonus . The bed was amazing and we both had a perfect night sleep and the fairy lights made the whole place extra pretty at night. Only recommendation we would suggest would be to add some new/ complete board games however we played cards and took one of our own so it was no problem. We would definitely go back in the future. We think the price we paid was right and communication was good. Will definitely recommend to others.

Shower/loo was ideal as well as the great little kitchen area. It was lovely being sat by fire pit at night, listening to owls fly about. The inside of yurt and bed was super cosy. Honestly we did not want to leave.

Oakhill Ponds – Walled Garden: yurt, tub & sauna

AngelaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Words from the youngest-"Insanity great! The gardens are so beautiful. The shower was godly—the person who built it deserves a golden trophy." Our yurt stay was magical—peaceful sky views from bed, cosy warmth, and thoughtful design. My son adored the comfy bed and soft rug, and the wood burner made evenings perfect. The shower- Majestic.Heavenly.Divine. The outdoor kitchen kept family time going through dinner prep—fully equipped and easy to use, luxurious. The record player was a sweet touch (bringing records next time!). We barely needed our supplies—towels, robes, coffee, air fryer, hot plate, and every pot and pan were provided. The wild swimming lake was clean and clear, with soft water and tadpoles resting in the shallows. A swing on a giant oak, deer wandering the land—it felt like a fairytale. Amanda and Rob were kind, relaxed, and attentive, with a strong sense of care and safety. Our son was totally at ease—he thrived in the calm. This place is magic. We’ll be back.
