Tiny house vacation rentals in River Wye

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

We had a wonderful stay at Ian and Christine’s self contained outhouse. The place was very easy to find and we were met upon arrival by both of them. They were warm and friendly from the get go. Their dog Danny was playful and adorable. The place had everything we needed and everything was spotlessly clean. It was incredibly quiet there, so we didn’t hear a peep. We went to Hay on Wye for the festivals which was only a 20mins drive and the Oxford street car park only cost £4 for the entire day. I’d highly recommend this place, especially if you’re visiting Hay or any of the surrounding areas.

The Bothy is perfect if you're looking a peaceful hideaway out in the countryside. The surroundings and views from the cottage are absolutely stunning. Plenty of local places to visit and eat. Nina was the perfect host... very friendly and informative. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend away, and we will most definitely be looking to book again in the future!

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

Perfect location, immaculately clean and peaceful. It was more beautiful than we expected and we especially loved cooking on the fire pit and use of the hot tub. Richard was on hand to answer any questions and I highly recommend walking Pen Y Fan and Dragons Back if you're into that sort of thing. The best first anniversary we could have thought of, we'd love to come back again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us x

We loved our stay in the Blues Hut - I echo all the positive reviews on here! The location is beautiful and being able to walk to the fabulous Yew Tree Inn was a treat. The Blues Hut is thoughtfully set out with everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. I loved opening the door in the morning to the sun spilling through the trees and the birds singing. My daughter loved the bunk bed and the games. I hope we can come back again and explore the area further.

My husband and I had the most amazing bank holiday weekend at Olly and Francis’s lovely cottage. Francis was very welcoming from the moment we arrived and was super friendly and generous throughout. The kitchen was well stocked up and they kindly provided fresh sourdough bread and eggs. Francis had also pre-prepared the fire place so that all we had to do was light it. The grounds are beautiful with nice spots where you can sit and enjoy the views. We also had fun playing tennis. They also provided excellent pub recommendations. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay and didn’t want to leave. Thanks again Francis for the great hospitality!

Booked on behalf of my Brother & his Kids. They loved their first stay at Offa’s Dyke Retreat. They loved their first outdoor space for the kids to play & the games inside the communal building. Said the pub round the corner was Lovely. They particularly enjoyed the food & the local beer. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic stay here for our “mini moon” after getting married on the Friday. A great location out in the country with lovely views, very peaceful. Andy’s recommendation for Sunday lunch and the Walwyn Arms is backed up by us, incredible food! Lovely location, we plan to come back

Amazing place, beutifull surroundings. Pod is comfortable, unique experience for us ,we loved it. Although we had constant rain and wind we managed to make camp fire which was lovely(bring your own logs). We would love to come back in better weather to fully enjoy the place. Thank you Sian!

We stayed at Caseg cabin for our mini honeymoon in June and we had an absolutely magical time. From waking up in the morning and seeing the cows through the window to enjoying a glass of champagne in the hot tub at night , we really could not fault the place. We really loved the extremely comfortable bed and liked the frame TV! We had a massage each with Rachael, and it was wonderful. She clearly knew what she was doing and we felt as though we were in good hands with her. If you are looking to book here, please book yourself a massage with her because you won't regret it! Thank you so much, Jim, for making our experience so perfect. We will never forget our mini honeymoon because of you!

Lovely little get away location perfect for short or even longer stays. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Nighttime in the hot tub under the lights looking at the stars , couldn’t have asked for more for the first break away after the birth of our daughter, some lovely ‘us’ time Would recommend 10/10 100% would stay again

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Camland Valley Luxury Pods! The pod was spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed. The hot tub and views were absolutely perfect. A huge shoutout to Alwena, our amazing host—so warm, welcoming, and genuinely one of the kindest people we’ve met. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and even offered us a late checkout, which we really appreciated. Her hospitality made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommend!

Hazelwood Lodge is a real gem! Magnificent views in a stunning location. The amenities are all, as advertised, and the hot tub was ready to go from the moment we arrived. The hosts were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay without disturbing our privacy. The Lodge was immaculately clean. Would highly recommend the Air Rifle Range for a fun hour doing something different just a two minute walk from the lodge. Cracking place!! Would stay again! Diolch yn fair, Emma and Lee.

What a wonderful stay at the Tiny House 🏠 we are defintely returning. The host is friendly and quick to respond. Set in a beautiful location in the countryside. Very peaceful and relaxing. Hot tub was great. The house itself is incredible made out of cedar wood by the host himself. Very impressive. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Shepherds hut! The view is beautiful, the hut is located very private, very warm welcome from the host and it contained everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here as a stop off before heading to Devon. Beautiful location and lovely scenery from the hot tub. Comfy bed and sofa, available Wi-Fi and smart TV. Very relaxing night away and would definitely stay again.

Amber and Rob were really super hosts. The accommodation was exactly what it said on the back of the cereal box. Quiet, amazing views and a hot shower that overlooked all the tranquillity of the valley and more. I know I will be back. Thank you both.

Beautiful simplicity. We went away for a wedding anniversary treat, looking to explore Bibury and the surrounding area. The location was perfect. The Dovecote was beautiful, the quality of the amminities was excellent.. We met Wendy who was happy to share some local knowledge of the pubs and restaurants nearby. The best was so comfortable and the bathroom was something out of a film set.. we will return for sure.

Amazing lodge, most perfect getaway so peaceful and relaxing and it felt right at home! One of the best places I've stayed and the hosts were so friendly!! Would definitely recommend, the hot tub with the birds singing were beautiful and the comfiest sofas and great kitchen for homemade meals!!

What a wonderful stay at Willow Lodge. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was an added luxury for my daughter and I while my husband and Son enjoyed fishing at the lake just at the front of the house. Really lovely and relaxing stay. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, we will be returning ! Thank you Terry for being so welcoming.

We stayed at the cabin for a wedding nearby and it was SO COSY and lovely, we almost didn't go to the wedding! It was super comfortable and private. We felt so relaxed and had everything we needed. William is so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and visit again. The surrounding area is beautiful. Laying in bed, listening to the rain and looking at the little lambs outside was so peaceful. Great location for a English countryside escape!
