Private Guest Suite with Spectacular Views

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent a great last minute weekend here. The views from the barn are stunning and the barn is so comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped we had a very relaxing time and it was easy to get into Hay where there was lots going on for the festival. I definitely recommend this place. There is also lots of information about the area available from the hosts who were very helpful. We will definitely return to explore this wonderful area more.

Swallow's Nest Barn

JordanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Mary’s place was very cute and cosy, the place looked exactly like the pics and perfect for a cosy getaway. There were a few barns on the property, and the signal was patchy, so a sign on the barn to signify it being the one you’ve booked would be a nice touch. If you need WiFi or strong signal then I’d say this might not be the place for you as it was very patchy but for a quaint night away with reading or playing games it’s perfect. Very close to hay on wye town and on the main bus route. Would stay again :)

Beautifully decorated accommodation with 5 star facilities! Thoughtfully arranged and stocked with little goodies. The hosts goes above and beyond for their guests and were super welcoming. Amazing location for anyone wanting some peace and quiet surrounded only by singing birds and friendly alpacas. Driving a golf cart from the parking space to the lodge was also an added bonus.

The Bothy ... a cosy cottage for two.

JeanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Bothy is very quiet, peaceful and private; generously equipped in every room, with housekeeping to a very high standard. You sense someone has actually stayed there and planned carefully what guests might require and where. There is a blissfully comfortable queen sized bed, efficient shower en suite, fluffy white towels, well equipped, compact kitchen, 2 lounge sofas with books, current magazines, games, logs for the fire, good WIFI, adjacent parking and a private outside seating area. An indulgent sanctuary for one/comfortable space for a couple, no stairs. There is a larger property adjacent, but the grassed seating areas are fenced off. Long views outside, sheep grazing fields, a coniferous wood behind. Lovely walks on the estate with much to explore beyond. This is comparatively isolated, but feels entirely safe, cars essential. Annie, the co-host is close by if needed. Hay on Wye with its book shops and cafes is 15 minutes across a wooden toll bridge.
