Waterfront vacation rentals in River Severn

Lucky to get such a great place in such a convenient location. Communication was perfect, everything was provided proactively and with clarity

The flat was everything my group needed. We stayed 2 nights and Charlotte very kindly allowed us to check in 4 hours earlier than the listing states. The flat is on the top floor of a complex, right in the centre of bristol. It had everything as advertised. Mentioned in the listing, was that the balcony was under construction and unusable. When we arrived this was still the case, however there is another balcony connected to the kitchen which helped us avoid disappointment for a morning coffee in the fresh air. It felt very safe, being in a complex, and was easily accessible 24/7. Charlotte mentions there being a chance of noise late at night, because of the proximity to bars, but it didn't bother us at all being 4 floors up. She was polite, friendly, and reachable by phone throughout our entire stay, answering my questions quickly. The flat is spacious but still cozy, with more than enough space for a party of 8 people. We were all very happy with our stay and we would stay again.

It was a good quiet location and lovely to overlook the water while having breakfast. Everything was in easy access or walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Dave’s place is perfectly situated in a great area of Bristol only a short distance from some excellent pubs and restaurants and things to do The property is really nice, spacious and with all that we needed. Parking locally was pretty easy as well.

What I can find in the room is a beautiful bay view from the room, walkable to local shops and restaurants, plenty of parking spaces, good kitchen enough for simple cooking. This room is good for couple to stay.

Really good stay nice spacious place. Nice relaxing location could sit out on balcony and watch all the swans in the water. Good price, nice to that we could play some pool.

Apartment was exactly as it was shown and described. Fantastic view and position perfect for us. Walk into the city along the river was pleasant and easy, likewise the bridge over to the lovely restaurants etc in the Bay. We will definitely book this apartment again when visiting Cardiff. We had a wonderful stay at Jacky’s apartment “The Chauffeur’s Loft.” Jacky was friendly, making sure we had all the information we might need and our check in was smooth. When we arrived Jacky had provided a very generous welcome hamper full of essentials and delicious goodies which was much appreciated and very kind. The apartment itself was clean and bright. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the basic equipment needed. The views over the valley from the apartment were beautiful. Our little dog enjoyed the garden when she wasn’t exhausted after all the fabulous walks straight from the doorstep. The various routes to Ironbridge were all lovely and the town itself has lots of lovely little independent shops. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend staying in Jacky’s apartment. Thank you!

My brothers second stay here, cannot recommend it highly enough such a convenient location for the town and a wonderful space. Lovely location for canal walks and restaurants in town. The house is beautiful and so well maintained and has everything you need. John and Alison are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They respond to messages quickly and it was lovely to meet them this time too! I’m sure if my brother comes back in the next couple of years we will look to book again.

What can I say…the house was just perfect for our stay. Beautifully appointed, clean and luxurious. What a treat to have a coffee in the sunshine in the mornings, overlooking the lake. Cotswold Water Park Retreats were amazing. Very easy to book paddle boards in advance, great communication and the hot tub was checked at least twice while we were there. It’s like everything was thought of. It made it so easy for me and my family to focus on spending time together. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here to anyone and I would love to come back.

We loved our stay here. The place was cozy and had everything we needed. Location was perfect - very convenient for exploring Bath. Garden was a bonus - Kids enjoyed watching the chickens. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area!

A memorable stay in a beautiful home and a real English Country Garden to marvel at. As well as being a great base for getting out and about, Arthur and Janie were warm and characterful hosts, accommodating in every way as we had our two Cocker Spaniels along for the ride

Absolutely loved our stay here. Perfect location, easy to go out and come back if needed. Comfy beds. Milk provided Private court yard but we also sat out by the river to people watch. The free river cruise you get with here was a nice touch. My husband thinks best place we've stayed. Lovely homely feel, we didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back. Only one thing after long drive there, there were no tea bags only a herbal one (I do normally try and remember some) but after a short walk to town to get some soon had cuppa in hand! Very handy for shops restaurants and walks along the river. Perfect few days. Thanks

Just got back from a 3 day stay at this lovely cottage. The location is exactly what was needed. Tranquil, Peaceful and Quiet. We travelled as a couple with a 3 year old and a dog. The garden was big and allowed the dog to roam about without too much worry (other than the stream at the end of the garden). The cows in the next field made for the countryside experience! There are many things to go see and visit in the local area and further like the Lake Vernwyn or Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall with hikes and walks. The cottage itself is beautiful and you can see the effort and heart that went into the renovation. It has a homely and cosy feel with everything you need for a stay. We would 100% stay again and would recoup anyone looking for an authentic Welsh countryside break to look no further than Chapel Cottage.

It was a lovely place to stay. My dawg enjoyed people watching especially the ones walking their dawgs. Everything you needed plus a downstairs loo which I didn't know about.

We had a very enjoyable stay with the family for a major birthday celebration. The accommodation and location are really lovely. The kayaks with life jackets were available. We had a few minor cleanliness issues which couldn't be resolved during our stay but we did receive modest compensation. One observation; the ladder style steps up to the mezzanine are very steep and not suitable for young children on their own and the beds up there are too small for fully grown adults or tall teenagers!. This is not addressed in the spec of the accommodation. We ate at a local restaurant, The Crown at Ampney Brook. Food and service exemplary.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment in Cardiff! The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location couldn’t have been better as you’re in walking distance to Cardiff bay and Cardiff centre! Tony was absolutely wonderful—friendly, incredibly responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. It made a real difference knowing we could reach out with any questions and get a prompt, kind response. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Mark the host very helpful and Sue friendly and full of local info. Got to say after using AB&B for a few years this is one of the most attractive and comfortable we have stayed at. We spent a few days cycling and relaxing, local bus service conveniently available adjacent to the apartment. Local pubs a bit of a walk but food and drinks available at both. Look forward to staying again.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Aubrey's place! It was the perfect location while we visited family and saw the sights around Birmingham. It was very convenient to walk to the train station and catch the train into New Street, as well as pop down the road for some delicious food (Dolphin, Tin Sing, and The Country Girl were all fabulous). We also enjoyed having a coffee on the back patio in the mornings, watching the train go by (the noise was not bothersome in the unit at all) as well as folks on the footpath behind the canal. We would happily stay here again as it had everything we needed!

Beautiful apartment with stunning views over Royal Porthcawl golf course and out to sea. Jonny was a great host. We really enjoyed our stay and will look forward to visiting again.

This location is exceptional ! we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and returning to such a tranquil setting after our wedding was the perfect conclusion to a wonderful day. 🤍🫶

Great flat and perfect location for a visit to the Arena and the beach.

An excellent accommodation, right next to ASDA supermarket which was convenient. Comfortable bed and sofa and excellent view of the river/harbour bit from the livingroom. Good Internet connection and a parking space. A few steps but not many, someone with mobility issues might struggle. Easy to find with a sat nav. 15-20 mins walk to the beach. Vanessa kindly allowed me to leave my car at bit longer while I run the Barry Island 10K.

Lovely place, nice view of the river, private parking was super helpful as was Shona the host. Always got back to my many questions promptly!
