Great place to stay, at high tide you feel like your right on the firth and at low tide there is a lot of area to walk. It's quite and peaceful, and was the perfect place for me and my family to relax whilst we explored Inverness, Loch Ness and the highlands

Modern home, Perfect for Highlands Touring

ElaineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a short but lovely stay at Julie and Spencer’s place! We felt at home right away! The place was very very clean and comfortable and close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Julie and Spencer were very helpful and responsive. The neighbours are also very friendly! The only small setback was that we were expecting bunk beds, as that was what was listed when we booked. When we arrived, there was a small double bed in its place. However, it was a minor inconvenience in the grand scope of things. We would highly recommend this place to those wanting to stay in Inverness.

Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

JohnathanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Katie’s charming home near the red castle ruins was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt wrapped in peace and magic. The cottage was beautifully kept, fully stocked, and incredibly comfortable—every detail thoughtfully arranged to make us feel at home. The setting is something out of a storybook. Waking up next to the historic ruins and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings was unforgettable. The hot tub was a highlight, especially after a day of travel. Our kids were thrilled with the darts and ping pong, and everyone slept like a dream—so quiet, so cozy. If Scotland weren’t so far away, we’d be back in a heartbeat. This may be the only trip we ever take as a family to Scotland, and we’re beyond grateful that Katie’s magical cottage was part of our journey. Thank you for everything!

This was a perfect place to stay for our trip to the Inverness area. The home is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and within easy access to services such as a supermarket, gas station, and shopping area. Andrea and Steven were perfect hosts, providing excellent information and quick responses before and during our stay. We highly recommend this excellent property while visiting the area.

Ness Garden - luxury in the heart of Inverness

MargRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Ness Garden is an oasis away from home. Clean and bright and beautifully decorated. It is peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed our breakfasts on the patio in the garden. The bed is comfortable and the shower is specious with a rain head shower. The off street parking is very convenient. The location is perfect. A 15 -20 minute walk to the shops and coffee shops and restaurants along the beautiful Ness Walk. We visited Culloden Battlefield and the less touristy Loch Ness at Dores village and beach. We will definitely return here again during our next Scotland vacation. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Puffin Parlour - Inverness - Free Parking

DebbieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Puffin parlour was a wonderful home away from home. Michelle was east to talk to and communicate with and provided many extra useful items within the flat. It was centrally located so was easy for us to walk to many of the local attractions and was also easy to get to train and bus stations. The flat was clean and well tended and big enough that we felt we had plenty of room to cook and relax.

Self-Contained Studio - City Centre Location

CourtneyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I could not express how lovely it was to stay at Ruth's during our short time in Inverness. It's what we call a "mother-in-law-suite," as it's a separate living space attached to their home. Sometimes you can hear their fam getting ready for bed/the day but that didn't bother us. The space was wonderful, tidy, and full of cute little treats. She was the most helpful and gracious host I've ever experienced! My spouse wasn't feeling super well the second night we stayed. I asked for some tea and Ruth offered many things out of her own kitchen to him (she even reached out a few times after check out to ensure everything went smoothly with our train and asked if my spouse was feeling better). You can tell she is the type of person who will go out of her way to make sure you enjoy your time there and I could not recommend her place more. 10/10!

Haugh Apartment private parking

We had a great stay at Inverness at Rodjana & Ann’s place! The flat looks exactly as the pictures and was clean and well-stocked. I initially had some trouble finding the key box but Rodjana & Ann were super responsive and helped me out immediately. When I discovered a broken handle on the washer and lightbulb in one of the lamps, they sent a staff to look into the problem and fixed it the next day. The beds are super comfortable and we had a fun time cooking at the kitchen. The location was also great - we could easily walk to downtown and access train station, shops and restaurants.

Cairngorm Apartment Three, Central Aviemore

EarlRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Andrew’s place was a perfect base for a few days of hiking. It is a short walk to the train and bus, and there is a small grocery store even closer. The place was clean and had a nice modern kitchen. After our days of walking in the highlands, we appreciated showers or baths with lots of pressure and hot water. The idea of paying for the heat you use makes some sense too.
