Monthly Rentals in River Isla

Susannah made us feel so welcome and we really enjoyed our stay at the Bothy. It was a great base to venture around central Scotland, and was incredibly private and peaceful as a place to recharge.

Claire’s lovely little placed tucked away is peaceful and relaxing. It is pleasantly rural. The flat is lovely, comfortable and accommodating. The kitchen is thoughtfully arranged for simplicity of use. It is off a private road (not hers) that has pot holes and brush requiring careful driving. But well worth it! Claire was very helpful and her pets Fisher , Bella and Lily are sweet.

Lovely, relaxing week spent at Angel’s Wood. I forgot the instructions to find the cabin but Diane was at the end of the phone to guide me there. Lots of beautiful walks and bird life. Nearby days out included Glamis Castle and Dundee V&A which are both well worth visiting. Fantastic restaurant, The Causerie, in Blairgowrie is a must.

The cottage is very quiet and you don't notice anything from the farm. You are regularly greeted in the morning by deer, which you can see from the kitchen. Sheep and cows graze at the front. Wonderful! The wood-burning stove rounds off the ambience and makes a cosy evening in the living room a lovely end to a day in the Cairngorms. We felt very comfortable and would recommend the accommodation to others.
