Tiny house vacation rentals in River Eden

This is the third time I’ve visited Andrew’s shepherd’s hut and yet again I wasn’t disappointed living up to the photos and description. The linen, towels and accommodation are all spotlessly clean. I’ve never stayed anywhere more than once but I’ll come back here time and again. It’s a perfect location to relax and unwind or for exploring the county. I’d thoroughly recommend.

10/10! What a beautiful, remote location , our time at Two Acre plot was exceptional - especially being greeted by the lovely cows upon arrival. The pod was immaculate and homely. The view from the hot tub was fascinating and calming. We can’t wait to be back. Thank you !

Arnside is magical and we had the best time. The space was really nice and perfect for what we needed. Location is really great for access to woodland walks, and the town is just down the hill. Great restaurant called JJ Crossfields that had really nice food and the staff were lovely! We just had a really nice time in general :)

had a lovely chilled weekend with my partner, the cabin was beautiful, cosy and clean, it was lovely to see the deer from our cabin. The bathroom just a very short walk away from the cabin was very clean, shower was hot and powerful 👌 we took advantage of the boat ride on their lake, that was fun. Ruth was very helpful, lovely host, lovely place ... will return 🥰

We had a fabulous stay at Hingabarn, a remote beautiful place, surrounded by wooded countryside with so many flower-filled meadows. Barn itself very clean with a well-equipped kitchen, and a very generous welcome pack! The drive up the track was fine, as per instructions just have to take it slowly and carefully. Thank you Paul and Barbara, we will be back!

Absolutely perfect little bungalow with everything you need for a quick stop or a longer stay. Even better than the photos. Super easy to find and clear instructions of how to get there, where to park and how everything works. Kelly was lovely and I even got some dog pats. I really wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in.

Stuart was very helpful from start to end. The lodge was very cosy and clean with everything we needed and even extra water, fire wood, fire starters, coffee, snacks condiments etc. the view was incredible to wake up to and the hot tub was easy to use and always warm. The only downside was the cows were too far away and we would have loved to see them up close but there are plenty of sheep in the nearby area. There’s loads to do too from visiting animals at wood end farm, local hiking trails and some good pub grub. We would definitely recommend to friends and family.

This Shepherd’s Hut is gem on the Pennine Way. The hut is very sweet and cosy and perfect for a night or two. View from the window is over the sheep fields and we spend the evening sitting outside, watching swifts, swallow allows and house martins circling above us. The host could not have been more friendly and helpful and we felt at home straight from the start. We couldn’t recommend this place any more especially if you are hiking the Pennine Way and want somewhere special to stay.

Beautiful space! Even better than it looks in the photos. Amenities like butter, eggs, bread, salt and pepper were supplied, so we didn't need to bring much. The grounds and cabin were well looked after, the hot tub spot-less and easy to use, and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to leave! Thank you again to Liam and Sarah for being such wonderful hosts. We'll definitely be booking again!

We had a fantastic stay! The lodge is in a perfect location with a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking Lake Windermere. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. The perfect place for a weekend away in the Lakes!

This property is beautifully hidden away and truly feels like heaven on earth for those who want to feel off grid and submersed in nature and wildlife. The hot tub is easy to heat up and surrounded by trees. The fire pit is also the perfect place to make s’mores on an evening and is sheltered by the trees above so usable rain or shine. Robert was also extremely helpful showing how the faculties were used and made sure the fire wood was always topped up! Finally… the bed - would come back here just for that! Comfiest bed we have ever slept on hands down

Gorgeous shepherds hut, as described. Jane was super helpful and always on hand. Hut was very clean, with basics provided. Hot tub was lovely. Location was perfect for those who like the outdoors, plenty of walks and some beautiful scenery. Not far from other villages and towns, and a spectacular chippy! Definitely what we needed after a rubbish 12 months, thankyou Jane 🥰

We had a fantastic stay in a lovely cottage, small but extremely well equipped. both Barry and Eadaoin were extremely helpful. No complaints whatsoever and will stay here again if it's available !

We absolutely adored our stay in the Little Barn. We felt so at home there. Everything about it was really comfortable - the sofa, the bed (REALLY comfy!), the furnishings, and the warmth of the place (good heating). The kitchen had all that we needed, and we loved being able to use the outdoor pizza oven, enjoying homemade pizzas and a bottle of Prosecco on the last night (Rebecca had very kindly left us the Prosecco and lots of other lovely things; eggs, coffee capsules for the coffee machine, some lovely chocolate - thank you so much!). The surroundings are really cool - the moors are so different to what we’re used to (coming from Hampshire/Surrey) and the walks through them and out onto the Dales were just spectacular. The view from the cottage was very cute; sheep and rabbits nearby. The cottage has books in it with great suggestions as to what to do/where to go, which we used to plan our outings. Truly a wonderful stay and we will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful location in a peaceful valley overlooking sheep and cow field. Has everything you need and the hot tub is a massive bonus. Could not recommend it enough.

A really lovely stay. Even though it’s early in the season we loved the herb garden just outside. The cowslips on the table and breakfast ingredients were a lovely touch. Shower had good heat and power. Woodburner was super easy to use with kindling, newspapers and logs provided. For those bringing food it has everything you need, but note there’s no oven. Microwave and hob cover an awful lot of cooking options though. There’s a small icebox in the fridge too. Overall a lovely stay, only one comment being that I think the bed is foldable and when I sat down hard once I though I was about to be folded into the bed which gave me a little shock 😂 Ross was great.

The pod was perfect for our stay in Coniston, being located in walking distance of the town and its lovely pubs. The pod had amazing views and had everything we needed. Mark was very welcoming and we’d recommend this stay to anyone.
