Curlew Croft Shepherd’s Hut

VictoriaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The cabin is a snug, but perfect fit for two people. We used it as a starting points for various trips (Isle of Skye, Cairngorms, and Inverness and surroundings) and we loved to get home to a wonderful sunset and dinner on the veranda. Please keep in mind, that is in an outdoor cabin, so the plumbing (when using the tab, toilet or shower) can be quite loud. Also you will hear rain and birdsong very clearly, which is wonderful and one of the reasons why we came, but when you‘re a light sleeper, you might need earplugs. Overall we had a lovely stay and would gladly come again!

Charming place with everything we needed. Good beds. I loved to sit on the stairs at the door with a cup of tea endoring the flowers and watch the feeding birds.

Luxury self-catering log cabin at Assich Zen Lodge

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stephen’s zen lodge was an absolute gem. We had an incredible night here , the lodge is beautiful as are the surrounds , so cosy and Stephen has clearly gone to a lot of effort in making a folio he left us full of recommendations of things to do in the area . The whiskey, tablet and shortbread was just the icing on the cake of what was already an environment that made us feel instantly at home . Only wish we’d stayed longer . Absolutely recommend .

Bunloit Farmhouse over Loch Ness

SamanthaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful farmhouse! It's a bit off the beaten path, which makes it all the more special – offering stunning, uninterrupted views of Loch Ness. The sunrises were absolutely breathtaking, and the house itself had everything we could possibly need. We stayed for three days and truly wished we could have stayed longer. If we ever come back to Scotland, we would definitely love to return to this lovely cottage. Highly recommended!

Loch Ness House by Interhome

EllenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The inter home folks were exceptional. One of them dropped off a crib after work when I forgot to order it in advance. The house was beautiful and easy to stay in. Walkable and close to everything we wanted to explore in the Highlands.

This is a lovely, cosy home with incredible views of Loch Ness and Katherine was a wonderful host who made sure the home was nice and warm when we arrived, and had books and games for us to enjoy. Just an incredible place to stay when visiting the Highlands.

Libertus Lodge. A secluded Cabin in Gorthleck.

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Al built this fabulous lodge himself, it is simply stunning inside with glorious views of the countryside from the terrace, it is a tranquil and beautiful location. So quiet and peaceful, truly relaxing, very comfortable bed and stylish interior, spotlessly clean. Al was very helpful with his knowledge of the area and made us feel very welcome indeed, nothing was too much trouble. Spotting the deer and red kites along with a hare and lots of birds was great fun. Highly recommend, this is a very special place.

Romantic Tinyhouse in the Forest

LindaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We just absolutely loved our stay! Jess, Alan and baby River were all lovely and we felt right at home on their beautiful homestead. Watching the ducks, sheep and birds wander around was just so lovely and it was wonderful to have a little escape in nature. It’s also amazing how deceptively close this is to Inverness - just about 15 minutes from seclusion and nature to a wonderful town worth spending hours exploring. Jess also provided us fantastic recommendations and we’re so happy we took her advice. This was such a fabulous way to end our time in Scotland!
