You’ll still see many original features preserved throughout the years. Families lived here sharing stories around the kitchen table and open fire, and now, you too can share that tradition. When you stay here, you’re not just booking a place; you’re stepping back into Highland history.

Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.
