House vacation rentals in Risika

Villa Ursa is located right in the heart of a small village. However a tall fence provides a sense of privacy. We visited at the beginning of June and there was almost no people in the village which for us was ideal as we enjoy peace and quiet above else (Lana informed us that during summer season it is a completely different story so have that in mind if you are visiting during July or August). You have a heated indoor pool and as the posting mentions a beach bar with a nice coastline just 10 min walk from the Villa (for us the sea was warm enough to swim in but a lot of people did not go into the water). Inside of the Villa looks modern and traditional at the same time which gives it a nice aesthetic. Lana was a kind host who welcomed us with a local wine bottle, freshly baked bread and a meat platter. We really enjoyed our stay and it is highly likely that we will visit again.

A really beautiful property, with a lot of attention to detail, in a beautiful blooming garden, a well-maintained pool, a stone's throw from a beautiful secluded beach. The different terraces left nothing to be desired, the outdoor grill is fantastic, the surrounding nature (we met deer, sheep, a turtle and wild boars) a dream. We woke up to the oriole singing and were greeted in the morning by butterflies. Hiking, biking, swimming, chilling... it is 30 minutes to the city (and thus to the nearest supermarket). Thank you, dear Maja, for the nice welcome gift - and for sending me my forgotten e-book! I'm sure we'll be back to your paradise.

The house and surroundings are perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. Except for birds, you don't hear much there. The most beautiful is the evening sun, which sits over the property and gives it a magic. Kitchen is in the covered outdoor area, with a large grill. We had everything from a quiet shooting star night to the pool party and enjoyed every minute. For the drive to the quiet beach (not 5min) we got a car as the road is a bit bumpy. Had the 10 days at your disposal. But we thought it was fun, rounded off the vacation. For people who are afraid of insects, it may be nothing, we have discovered something new every day:) But everything is harmless. Will miss the evening view of the sea!

We were very happy with the accommodation. Everything looked like the pictures.

We had a great time with a group of seven in this beautiful, quiet mountain cottage. The pool was refreshing, the hot tub cozy and warm. Our hosts were always available for us in case of questions and problems. For our last evening, they recommended a delicious fish restaurant in nearby Klenovica. In the evening it was often very windy, but there were enough covered retreats in the house and in the lower area. There are numerous beaches, pretty villages and also a visit to the Plivice Lakes National Park (2 hours' drive) is worth a day trip. Thanks for everything and best regards from Fürth/Nuremberg.

Wonderful house and great host. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and well worth the price. You have direct access to fresh herbs, homemade wine, rakia, jam, and eggs by the host. Perfect for a quiet time away from traffic noise and light pollution. Walking distance to several nice hiking locations. Would love to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Gianna’s place. The view is very nice and the surrounding is peaceful. The bed were comfortable. There is AC everywhere in the rooms. The house is functional. Maybe some pans in the kitchen in better shape would be nice. The outdoor is nice and the pool was very appreciated. We stayed during the beginning of June and temperature was nice on the terrace. Maybe more shadows on the terrace for warmer day would be a +. It’s really nice to have this outdoor kitchen. The outside furniture is confortable. (Some towels for the pool/ beach could be given) The location is nice. You can reach Krk island in 10 min. Lots of nice beaches and even dog friendly beaches within 10-15 minutes. Having a car is a must. In conclusion, we had a very nice stay, the outdoor with the view is great. The house is functional. Gianna is really nice and gave us some advices to visit and for restaurants. Thank you. We would definitely come back. :)

We had a wonderful time at Villa Botanica. The house and the surrounding garden is very beautiful. You can definitly see and feel the love Piero and his family have for this place. It is indeed a little paradise.

We were with our 4 boys. It was very quiet and a great view. Daniela was very friendly, helpful and always very easily accessible. The kitchen was very well-equipped. We've never had so many basic food. Salt, spices, vinegar, oil, coffee, honey, water, wine, beer, jam..... Everything was available for grilling. The insect repellent was perfect. So we had peace from the Plagegeisterns. The pool was also very well maintained. Only the water burned pretty much in the eyes. Overall a very good stay.

We met the landlord in the nearest town on arrival and then followed him to the vacation home. The access to the house is very adventurous, but it can also be managed with a fully packed 7-seater without all-wheel drive. The house is fantastically located in a private bay and well and beautifully equipped. We were received in a very friendly manner and with a delicious snack. Communication with the host was reliable and straightforward. We felt very comfortable with our four children in the house and spent a relaxing week.

We really loved this fairytale house and felt like we were in another world. I was very excited because the pictures are so great. But the reality was even better. The furnishings are absolutely top notch, nothing is missing. Our children loved the intricate architecture and the wooden staircases. Although we were unlucky with the weather and it was really cold and rainy, we really enjoyed our stay as the house is wonderfully warm. We LOVED the Outdoor kitchen. There's a wonderful wood-fired oven there, where we baked bread and made stew directly on the fire. Our favorite place. We would have liked to use the pool more often, but the weather didn't quite play ball. But as soon as it warmed up, we went straight in and that was great too. We can warmly and wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful house. The hosts are very nice, help immediately and are really uncomplicated ❤️. If you're not just looking for a place to sleep, but a house full of love and magic, this is the place for you 💕

Thank you, Mira and Dzenis, for letting us stay at Villa Mirabilis. It exceeded our expectations in every way possible! The rooms are decorated with beautiful antique furniture and there was plenty of space for our family of 5. The garden is an extension of the house with an incredible, well-stocked outdoor kitchen and dining area with views of the sea. It was evident that Mira is a master gardener because her garden was one of the most beautiful we had ever seen with blooming plants and butterflies everywhere we turned. The pool was the cherry on top with panoramic views of the valley and sea. The location was perfect…quiet and private yet lots of restaurants and shops only 10 minutes away. Pictures cannot capture the beauty of Villa Mirabilis. This is easily one of our favorite AirBnBs we have ever stayed in and our kids are already asking to go back. Bruna's place is right in the old town of Vrbnik. Despite the great heat, we were able to have the stone house well air-conditioned. With two ways to sit outside and everything you need in the kitchen, we were well taken care of. Supermarket, bakery & many cafes & bars nearby! There are numerous steps into and inside the house! Bruno always responded quickly and helpful! We enjoyed our holiday very much! Thanks!

Barbara was a wonderful host, always very helpful and gave us great tips. There were also delicious things from her own garden for us to taste. The location was fantastically quiet, the garden wonderfully maintained and the pool magnificent! Thanks for a special vacation!! ☺️

Although we were not able to communicate directly with the host, his family took excellent care of us. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures, very big, nicely decorated, with everything you could need. I give my highest recommendations!

We spent ten wonderful days as a family in Jasmina's house. It is located in an extraordinarily beautiful location in the middle of the island, surrounded by a beautiful garden with leafy pergola, various outdoor seating, a cozy barbecue area as well as a really large and clean pool, which was greatly appreciated by the whole family. The garden and pool are really an absolute highlight. The house was sparkling clean inside and above-average well-equipped: in fact, we had to get almost nothing new: coffee powder, toilet paper, towels, lighter, scissors, charcoal... everything was available. The reception was crowned with plenty of fruit and vegetables as well as a large snack platter and fresh bread, so that after the long car journey we only had to sit down and start the holiday directly. Many beaches can be reached in 15 minutes by car and the sea was full of colorful fish. Great!!!

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay with a lot of nature and a view of Krk that you know from postcards, then Adrijana's place is definitely worth a visit. The beaches can be reached in about 10 minutes by car, was no problem for us. For those who want to stay in the accommodation, there is a whirlpool. Adrijana communicates clearly before and during the visit.

Our stay at the Queen Kvarna was very peaceful and relaxing. The house itself is a nice old stone building with a lot of character. Due to the thick walls the temperature inside was great. We also didn’t mind the rainy days as we just enjoyed the comfy terrace. Polanca was a good host, she gave us very useful information and great tips for the surroundings. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential and the neighbours were also very friendly and forthcoming. All in all we a had lovely time at Polanca‘s house and would definitely book again. Thank you for everything Polanca!
