We had a really nice visit. One thing that stood out was how peaceful and quiet it was. It felt like we were in the countryside. We both slept well and the bed was comfortable. The location was fantastic, it was a few minutes walk to the city walls and very close to York minster. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend the apartment. Many thanks

Ben was a great host he responded to all enquiries and provided clear information regarding check in. The apartment is a flat 10 minute walk from York train station and also to Micklegate one the entrances to the town centre. The apartment is in a modern development and seemed very new. If self catering there is a small Tesco nearby. One minor suggestion is the addition of some wine glasses and a mixing bowl other than that we really enjoyed the apartment

Great communication from the hosts prior to arriving, did not need to contact during our stay. The apartment is in a great location and easily walkable into the centre within minutes. Very well equipped kitchen , with many utensils, glasses, plates etc. Lovely living room with a comfy sofa and added bonus of Apple TV, plus a DVD player with a selection found in the bedroom. Great double bedroom, with blackout blind, wardrobe and drawers. All in all we had a fabulous 2 night stay in an amazing private apartment! Thanks for our stay 😄

Just what we were looking for - long scenic walks in beautiful surroundings. The flat was so lovely and was comfortable with everything we needed - with wonderful views. Perfect get away.

Angela was an excellent host. She ensured we had everything we needed and offered suggestions of things to do in the area. The house was wonderful. Surrounded by nature, we loved watching the birds on the feeders. The kitchen is a home from home, with everything you could possibly need. The information booklet was easy to understand with everything explained. Comfortable beds, clean throughout. No complaints.

Had a wonderful stay at David and Anne’s home. The house was very comfortable especially the beds. It was also very clean and beautifully furnished. They also provided very clear instructions and there was everything you need for a relaxing break. Also well situated for the town and to explore surrounding area. Would highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay at the Granary Lodge. It was central to where we needed to be and easy to reach. The space was lovely and we were so happy to come back in the evenings to relax by the fire with a drink and some biscuits. Thank you so much!

Such a wonderful home for our one night. We wished it could have been for longer. Everything you could want, comfy beds, great showers, neat kitchen. Dogs loved it too!

We stayed in Bedale as a group of three couples. The location is great with beautiful walks around the village and surrounding countryside. There are plenty of pubs easily within walking distance, eateries and local independent shops. As a three bedroomed house with no less than three bathrooms, we were all comfortably catered for. With a big dining table in the kitchen it made for a great space to eat and chat. The kitchen was very well equipped for all our needs. Everywhere was immaculately clean with good quality towels and bedding. Clare left us a welcome pack with all the essentials for which we were very grateful. Our host was super helpful with recommendations for places to go for a celebration meal out, 2 birthdays in one weekend! Thank you once again Clare for our celebration bubbly! Jan

This was my second time staying at Ben and Kate's place. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to stay somewhere peaceful but within a few minutes walking distance into the town centre. They have the comfiest bed and leave delicious chocolates too.

Paul sent excellent directions for us to make our way from the train station and then he met us upon our arrival. This accommodation is very bright, clean and comfortable and in a fantastic location. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to make our own meals. All the kitchen ware is a very nice quality. Paul left us a generous welcome package of fruit and treats which was greatly appreciated. Paul is a caring and attentive host and it was lovely to meet him. We look forward to our next visit. Alison’s apartment was spotlessly clean and looked just like the photos. It’s an amazing location if you want to access all York has to offer. Everything was in walking distance which was great. Alison was really quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit York.

Absolutely stunning property with everything you would need for a stay away already in place! It’s just as it looks in the images, very spacious, absolutely stunning bathrooms and full functioning kitchen with all the cutlery and dishes you need! Loved the guest book with all details and instructions for our stay! Can very much tell the host has a lot of attention to detail! Every part of the space was so well thought out, aesthetically pleasing, whilst also being highly functional! I will definitely be looking to book again for my next trip to Harrogate!

Would highly recommend Eleanor 's place. It was as described, very clean and comfortable, bedding and towels good quality and spotless.
