Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. L' appartamento dista km 5 da Como, km 2 da Torno, km 40 da Milano, km 38 da Lugano. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

The studio is located in the upper part of Biel VS, now the municipality of Goms. The Goms is known for cross-country skiing tourism in winter, and in summer for the Goms hiking paradise. The studio is within walking distance of approx. 15 minutes from the cross-country ski trail and the train station. If you would like to arrive by public transport, we will be happy to pick you up at the station. Of course, you can also arrive by car. Parking is right by the house. PS: Tourist taxes are included!

Our stay at Erich's was just wonderful and very relaxing. Erich is an all-around great host and has created an oasis here that is unparalleled. We felt comfortable from the beginning in his cozy, beautiful and lovingly furnished apartment. Nothing was missing; the kitchen is perfectly equipped and very generous. From the apartment and the terraces you have a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. On the two seats and in the garden, there are various, cozy seating areas for reading, eating and dreaming. The house is surrounded by flowers, herb and vegetable gardens, which Erich has lovingly laid out and maintains. In summary: a place to relax and enjoy in absolute tranquility. Thanks Erich for having us! Looking forward to seeing you again.

Valentina's apartment is very clean and beautiful. The view of Lake Maggiore is fantastic. We were there in early June and it was really quiet at night, you could sleep with the windows open. Everything is in walking distance. A parking space would be helpful, but you read in the description that there is no parking space and no air conditioning, so you know in advance. We would come back, for us it was the perfect, small apartment! 💖 Thanks Valentina! 🥰

Antonio is an exemplary host! Nothing was too much trouble, his responses to our requests were immediate and he couldn’t have been more helpful. The views, location and ambiance are 5 star plus! Styling was minimalistic but on point. We loved the vibe and it’s the perfect couples retreat. Highly recommended! Lovely space with a superb view! We came here for our anniversary and found it a wonderfully romantic stay. Well equipped place, good kitchen with basic cooking extras, provided us with a lighter and firewood for our whole stay on arrival! Fires outside at night are just amazing, it's so peaceful and relaxing. The studio is wonderfully decorated, exactly as the photos, feels exactly like a luxury Swiss chalet should. Only small issue would be it said 11am check out time but we were asked to leave for 10 which was a little inconvenient, but a minor issue, overall we loved our stay here. Be aware it's a 30 minute drive to the nearest proper shops up a steep winding road with sheer drops, not for the faint of heart but if you like driving it's quite fun. Would highly recommend for couples seeking a romantic or refreshing getaway in the clean mountain air.
