Welcome to our dollhouse! The apartment covers 35 square meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters, so is rather less suitable for tall people. In addition, it has a furnished terrace to enjoy the balmy summer nights. Rommelsbach is a quiet suburb of Reutlingen. With the city bus you are quickly in the city center (about 10 minutes). But not only in Reutlingen, but also in the neighboring town you can shop until the credit card glows: The "Outlet City" Metzingen can be reached by car in 5 minutes. The Swabian Alb biosphere reserve also invites you to enjoy hiking and nature. We ourselves are an open, nice family with two children, are always ready to give information about the environment and also like to have a chat.

It is the starting point for hikes and bike tours (e.g.: Swabian Alb and Neckar Valley) and for shopping enthusiasts, the city of Metzingen with Germany's largest outlet offers a very special shopping experience (information material in the apartment). There are two bakeries in the village. Supermarket, butcher, pharmacy are in the neighboring town of Rommelsbach, about 2 km away.

The house is in a quiet location with a very large garden. A parking space for the car is available. It is about 1.5 km to the city center, 200 m to the nearest bus stop & supermarket.

As a solo guest with limited German, I appreciated staying in a home where I felt safe and received a personal welcome when I arrived. I enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, and found it an easy and pleasant walk from the Echterdingen train station. (I was tired of buses.) The room was refreshingly simple and sparkling clean. Everything uncomplicated, the apartment was easy to find, about 15-20 minutes walk from the train station, 10 minutes to downtown, a Rewe two blocks away. The apartment with everything you need, clean and in great condition. I had a room in the apartment, which has a total of 4 rooms. But apparently I was the only guest and therefore had the kitchen and bathroom to myself. My room was lockable, i.e. even if other people had been in the other rooms, it would not have been a big problem, you would then have to share the kitchen and the bathrooms, which is definitely ok for the price, the really top clean apartment and the location.

The house is in a Beautiful neighbourhood, right next to the river stream. You don’t have a clear view of the river but you can hear it. The sound of the river is soothing and not loud. The house is cozy and the hosts, Marita and Andreas, are friendly and welcoming.
