Vacation rentals with lake access in Rethymno

Unser Aufenthalt bei Stavros war einfach fantastisch. Er war ein großartiger Gastgeber – sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Die Wohnung war makellos sauber und sehr gemütlich. Wir haben uns von Anfang an rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Lage war ideal, und die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen und können den Aufenthalt bei Stavros wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zweckmäßig eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts, außer vielleicht einer großen Schüssel und einer großen Kaffeetasse ;-) Die Matratzen vom Bett waren angenehm fest und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Im ganzen Haus gibt es Fliegengitter, so dass man auch nachts die Fenster offen lassen kann und keine Mücken und Insekten reinkommen. Die Lage des Hauses ist ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto von einem wunderbar weitläufigen Strand entfernt. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in die Berge ist es ideal gelegen. Einzig die viel befahrene Straße direkt vor der Terrasse hat uns etwas gestört. Elena ist eine sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeberin, die sofort auf Nachrichten reagiert. Sie hat uns mit einer selbstgemachten Nachspeise und einem Abschiedsgeschenk verwöhnt. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür! Falls wir wieder mal nach Kreta kommen, würde ich auf alle Fälle wieder dort wohnen.

Annonce à la hauteur du logement. Très bien équipé, rien ne manque, aménagé avec goût. Très confortable. Paysage magnifique avec vue sur la montagne, petite piscine parfaite pour se rafraîchir. Pas de vis à vis. Au calme mais proche de Georgeopoulis et route nationale. Kristina est une très bonne hôte avec des petites attentions pour notre arrivée. Possibilité de randonner à partir du logement.

very beautiful place, very comfortable, quiet and relaxing, ideal for a family or anyone who wants to escape from the city. Stunning view from the terrace of the surrounding olive hills. Manthos was very friendly and generous, always at our disposal.

Prima Unterkunft...groß und alles mehr als ausreichend in der Küche vorhanden. Zum Wohlfühlen!

Logement parfait pour séjourner à Zaros. Le logement est très propre, bien équipé. La literie est d’excellente qualité. Maria est adorable. Nous recommandons !

Outstanding villa and extremely friendly host! The villas is exactly as it is on the pictures. It’s further in a very quite neighborhood and allows you to relax with a view on the mountains. We had everything we need and even more! There were things usually not available in such accommodations. Great stay!!! Michallis was further very kind and easy in communication and gave helpful advises!!! There are some taverns in 5-10 minutes by car. Shops, supermarkets etc are around 15 minutes by car (there are some small shops in the neighborhood as well). The beach is around 30 minutes by car. Tipp for future guests: Go for breakfast and even better for dinner to Vegera in Zaros!!! It’s a must!!! Vivi (owner and chef 👩‍🍳) cooks Cretan food and it is extremely delicious!

I had a great stay at this Airbnb, just a short walk from the beach. The location was perfect with plenty of restaurants nearby. The property had a beautiful pool and a well-equipped gym, making it easy to relax and stay active. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Highly recommend for a beachside getaway!

Nous avons passé un super séjour. Le logement était propre avec une vue superbe et un accès direct à une petite plage privée. Le seul bémol est les bruits des voitures la nuit. Le logement est très bien placé, à 5 min en voiture de la ville. Notre hôte a été très serviable, a été de bon conseil et n’a pas hésité à prendre de nos nouvelles tout au long de notre séjour. Merci encore pour cet agréable séjour ! 😊

Lovely airconditioned apartment at a great location. The apartment has everything you need for your vacation (including an ironing board, dishwasher, etc.). It is located on the third floor and can be reached with an elevator. The beach and some great restaurants are just around the corner (5 minute walk). You can walk to the city center in 15 minutes. In the street there are several super markets and bakeries. Hans is a great and responsive host. He proactively gave good advice for nearby restaurants, beaches, etc.

Die Anweisung zum Check-In war sehr klar. Wir haben nur für eine Nacht verweilt und dafür war das Apartment sehr angenehm. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und alles war frisch.

Veldig fin leilighet. Faktisk bedre enn forventet ut i fra bildene i annonsen. Veldig fint å kunne lukke soverommene. Helt perfekt for en familie på fem.

10/10 would recommend! Everything was according to the description and worth the price. Our apartament was clean and spacious, very well equipped for daily use. Odisseas & Evita were available and very helpful while sharing their recommendations. The town is small and rather quiet in April but the views and surroundings were most beautiful.

Logement simple et fonctionnel Grande terrasse privée avec vue sur les montagnes alentours un peu à l'écart du village qui est cependant accessible à pied. Elena est accueillante et réactive. Le village est très sympa et tranquille. Si vous aimez la campagne, la vie au grand air et souhaitez éviter la foule, alors c'est fait pour vous. Efcharisto Poli Elena.

We (a Greek young couple with a 4 years old child) stayed at Nikola's place for 7 days in the middle of August. Our stay and host exceeded all our expectations! The place was in a cliff and it had an uninterrupted view over the beautiful lake of Kournas. The house was just built and had more than what we could have asked for. Big living room with very comfortable sofa, tv and aircon, big kitchen with EVERYTHING one can ask (including a fridge filled in with fresh fruit, sodas, bottled water), two nice bedrooms (one with a double bed, and the other one with two single beds) and plenty of storage rooms and aircons, and a spacious toilet which also had a washing machine. Nikolas and his mother were so helpful and provided us with all info needed for our stay. Nikolas also took an extra step and made a gift to our daughter of some brand new Barbies the moment we stepped in the house, something that our daughter loved and it was certainly not expected and gift was well received. If I would travel back to Krete, I would definitely choose Nikola's place! Panos

We had a great time staying in Stella's house. Everything was excellent, we had no shortage of anything. And what a wonderful bed! We stayed in a hot period in August. Temperatures reached 34 degrees. Besides making daily trips we stayed quite some time in the house with refreshing airco's. In the house you could not hear anything from the close by road. With our morning coffees outside it could be quiet noisy. Overall we are ***** star satisfied. Stella is a great host.

We had a very nice week staying in Nicols place. In the beginning we had little difficulties finding the place due to an technical error, but Nicol responded really fast and gave us helped us very quickly. The communication in generell was very friendly and fast. The place itself also was very clean, had all the essentials needed and provided a lovely view of the surrounding valley. Would definitely recommend this place:)

Magnifique petite maison au calme bien située pour visiter Chania , Kourna , Rethymnon , Chora Skafia et environs. Un accueil formidable rarement vu , des explications claires et succintes en anglais: tout était parfait . La famille est vraiment composée de gens formidables qui aiment leur pays magnifique. Des petit cadeaux bien agréables : vin + huile délicieux ( helas trop lourd pour la reprendre..). La maison est super bien équipée : il ne manque absolument rien et tout fonctionne bien : même le wifi ! La maison est super propre , possibilité de faire son linge , eau chaude en permanence et petit radiateur électrique en cas de gros froid mais également des hamacs pour se reposer. Parking aisé juste devant la petit maison dans l'enclos . Grand terrain cloturé par un petit mur bien pratique qui empechait notre petit chien de s'échapper. A pied, le lac de Kournas (5 minutes) et la plage (30 minutes) et le centre de Gorgiopoulis ( 25 minutes) ne sont pas loin. Bref un petit paradis, on aurait bien voulu rester plus longtemps mais les vols retour la semaine suivante vers la Belgique étaient vraiment trop chers : dommage !

We had a great time in the property of Nikos. The conversation was always fast and easy. All of our questions has been answered. The apartment is huge for 4 people and the view is insane. We had the bigger pool area which is more expensive but worth it. The privacy, the pool etc. was really beautiful and for us a perfect start into our vacation and also something different than staying at the beach as most of the tourists do. Nikos allowed us to stay longer which was so kind from him, we met his lovely mother as well. So we really felt very welcome. Also there were some nice welcoming details like cold drinks. Everything was really new and clean. We highly recommend to stay here!

Kostas hat mich vom Flughafen abgeholt, weil mein Flug verspätet war und ich daher keinen Mietwagen bekam. Er war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

C’est un endroit magnifique, n’hésitez pas à y aller! Nikos est un superhost, il est très réactif pour aider en tout, une gentillesse incroyable, on peut compter sur lui pour tout. Sa villa est un havre de paix et la vue sur le lac et juste incroyable, c’est encore mieux que sur les photo. Il y a la piscine privée qui est vraiment top, à 5min le lac Kournas, une taverne juste en face, supermarché pas loin... J’y reviendrais avec plaisir, surtout que Nikos a fait en sorte qu’on ne manque de rien avec c’est petite attention. Ce n’est pas 5 étoiles, mais 10!

We had a fabulous time! House just a few metres from the sea (2 minutes by car), with a private pool and a wonderful view. It feels really good and everything is so private so you can have a pleasant holiday. Maria was always helpful and kind and ready to meet our every need and always thoughtful about all the details so that we could have a pleasant holiday. Flexible and easy check-in and check-out. You will return, that's for sure.
