Hotel vacation rentals in Rethymno

We would highly recommend a stay at Lameriana. The hotel is made up of renovated buildings in a beautiful remote setting in the Cretan hills near the town of Rethymno. There are lots of stunning views from the hotel, in particular the view from our balcony (with the hot-tub) was really lovely. The location allows for the perfect mix of peace and quiet but with easy access to lots of bars, restaurants and shopping within a 30 minute drive. Our room was tastefully decorated and contained everything that was required. The rooms been renovated in such a way that the original character of the buildings remain. Having access to our own private pool was real treat. This meant that we never made use of the large communal infinity pool. We didn’t have breakfast during our stay but we can confirmed that the food served in the restaurant for dinner was good. What really made our stay special we’re the staff; everyone was really friendly and no request was too big. We hope to return soon.

The pool and area near the sea were very nice. Theodosia was a great host. She helped us with public transport and even picked us up if it was too far away to walk from the bus stop. Overall great experience!

Hotel is very close the shore, on the rooftop very peaceful with the sounds of the waves. Matala is also a very beautiful place to hang out. Totally worth it!

Already in advance, Emmanuel and Yannis provided us with great information for the area. Very unobtrusive and super well organized. Someone was always available and had great suggestions for our individual vacation wishes (diving courses, Beaches, restaurants, rental cars, taxi from the airport). We arrived and the apartment corresponded perfectly to the descriptions, everything was there, great terrace with sea view, clean and nice bathroom, working air conditioning, cleaning worked out great, everything you need on summer vacation. The entire complex was just renovated. All houses freshly painted, a new pool, new loungers/umbrellas, great! A rather quiet location, but the combination of tranquility, a nice tavern, pool and beach in less than 100 meters radius with permanent great sea views is wonderful. A rental car to explore the west part of the island (great beaches, Chania town) makes a lot of sense. We enjoyed the holiday very much!

We rented the place very spontaneously for 4 nights. The space is conveniently equipped. The entire complex is in good condition. Due to personal circumstances, we only spent one night there, and would have liked a small courtesy from the landlord.

We were absolutely positively surprised. A total of only 12 rooms, with our room on the 2nd floor offered a fantastic view over the entire bay. We could even watch sunrises. The pool is very clean, loungers and parasols were sufficient. It is very quiet, no traffic noise or loud bars in the immediate vicinity... yet enough restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, souvenir shops are within walking distance. There is a little train that also stops at the harbor and other beaches. In the small cozy bar, the absolutely lovely and attentive owner personally stands behind the counter and spoiled us with self-created cocktails. Absolutely recommended👍👍👍 The only drawback: too little storage space for clothes and suitcases. Since we were only there 4 nights, we were happy to accept that. We would definitely book there again👌🫶👍

We had a great vacation, the accommodation is very well located close to all shops, restaurants and the beach. Katerina and her family are very welcoming and caring! I would highly recommend it.

The perfect place stay for visiting Matala. Close to everything - beach, grocery store, and bus stop. The property is very large with a big common area, a beautiful pool, and a well-equipped kitchen. Everyone was very kind, warm, and welcoming. I look forward to coming back the next time I am in Matala!

Spacious, quiet, very comfortable 1 bedroom appartment. Walking distance to the beach, shops, supermarket and bus stop. Super comfortable large double bed. There also a plunge pool. Lovely and welcoming hosts. I absolutely loved my stay and would happily come back! Efkaristo

Staying at Georgoshouse was the most beautiful part of our trip through Crete. The family made us feel right at home and took great care of us without being overbearing. The surroundings are gorgeous. This place is definitely worth a visit - or two!

This spot was hands down one of my favorite places to stay. Amazing location right on top of several restaurants and bars and right in the middle of all the walkable shopping and tourist attractions nearby. The unit was well cleaned, easy to get into and had everything you could need for a short getaway. The host was extremely professional and easy to work with. The unit was easy to find and get into. Lastly, the private rooftop hot tub had amazing views and was the absolute jewel of this listing. 10/10 would recommend!

Sanela’s place was perfect for a peaceful escape from the city, nice and close to the beach and amenities. She was such an amazing host and I couldn’t recommend staying with her enough! Clean comfy beds, great shower and kitchen. Pool and private lounging space outside was the cherry on top! Would stay with Sanela again in a heartbeat.

This place is perfect. The hotel is modern chique. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The staff at the reception is kind and helpfull. They gave us great recommendations. We absolutely loved staying here and can’t wait to come back some time. 10/10 recommend!!
