House vacation rentals in Resarö

It was such a lovely house in lovey peaceful surroundings and a lovely garden. We wished we had spent a few more nights rather than just the 3 because we never had chance to explore the local area properly. Herald was really helpful and friendly with plenty of local suggestions and we would definitely consider coming back to stay.

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

We had a great stay at the house, large and spacious with amazing pool. Malin responded quickly to any questions and check-in was very smooth. Recommended!

My husband and 3 kids loved our stay in Peter’s home in Näsbypark near Stockholm. The house was beautiful, we loved the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. It was a home away from home for our family. We were very close to the train station which took us straight into Stockholm for siteseeing. The neighbourhood was very peaceful and we felt safe there. We were within easy walking distance to amenities and a beautiful lake.

We had a lovely stay at Roberts and Sandra house. Everything we need was there. Great transport links in and out of Stockholm. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay! Magdalena and Oscar were super friendly, responsive, and welcoming, so everything was easy and smooth. The house is beautiful, with a spacious garden, lovely pool, and a charming greenhouse we really enjoyed. Surrounded by stunning nature, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Would love to come back!

Our family had a wonderful weekend in the house in Ingarö. Johan and Linda welcomed us in person, they are wonderful hosts. The house is built with quality and love for details. Well equipped, we lacked nothing, clean and warm. We traveled by car, so we managed to visit several local natural treasures - Björnö nature reserve, Artipelag. 10 minutes walk from the house there is access to the water where you can relax and enjoy the local landscape. Stockholm is in about 30 minutes drive from the house.

Charming house with a large lovely backyard. Both children , adults and our dog really appreciated this cozy home. Nice environment around with proximity to the sea and swimming, forest and walking paths. Very kind and positive response.

A very cozy and fresh accommodation. We would meet friends who live in the same area so we thought it was great to have a close "home." Lena was friendly and easy to communicate with. We are happy to stay here more times.

We came in from Galveston Texas, to visit with family & friends. We booked Matt’s place because it was close to my family. Omg, it was a beautiful location. So peaceful. We were so rejuvenated after we got there after a long flight. Perfect place to come to after the hectic days. If & when we come in again, we will be calling on y’all. Thanks so much!

This place was absolutely amazing! The house design is stunning—modern, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything offered, from the amenities to the little extras, made my stay so enjoyable. The view was breathtaking, and I loved waking up to it every morning. The hosts were exceptionally kind, helpful, and supportive, always making sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone visiting the area! My family and friends also had a fantastic time and were especially impressed by the charming Swedish style of the house. It added a unique and cozy touch that we all appreciated. I appreciate all your help and would happily stay here again. I highly recommend this place for anyone that wants to experience how Swedish people live:)

You will need to go there to believe how truly beautiful this place is. We are a family of five and spent a wonderful week on Viggsö Island. We have never had a better host than Harry, extremely friendly, helpful, and always available! We would love to come back one time.

Lots of windows. Beautiful light. Very minimalistic atmosphere which gave a calm and peaceful feeling. Cozy front room with windows, daybed and surrounding views of boats passing by was perfect for coffee and relaxation. Elisabet is an excellent, responsive and kind host. While you cannot take a car there, they have two hand carts available to use when you arrive. If you don’t mind walking, it is a good walk with your suitcases in the carts from the ferry to the home and you’ll get a lot of wildlife, animals and things to see. We enjoyed the nature. Water everywhere. The sunsets were beautiful. Private beach to use (visible to everyone but not available). A sweet market just down the hill with almost everything you may need for a few days. A boat, kayak, SUPs and linens for rent—ask to reserve them ahead of your stay. We loved the experience.

The house is very nicely located on a hill with great views of the water. Kitchen is very well equipped with all appliances and utensils. With their own private sauna great for anyone seeking tranquility and relaxation. Supermarket at 15 minutes walking distance.

Our family had a wonderful one-week stay at Daniel and Malin’s house - the perfect home with the perfect hosts. The house and property are stunning - just as beautiful as in the photos. Everything inside the house was very well-appointed and in great shape - comfortable and clean bedrooms, great kitchen, lovely bathrooms, great electronics (WiFi, smart tv, Sonos home audio). The terrace and outside areas were great and we had numerous meals and family gatherings outside. The area is so tranquil and beautiful, with the stunningly beautiful lake only an eight minute walk away. We even spotted deers in the garden in the evening. Daniel was the perfect host - very helpful and responsive, and very generous in sharing everything their home had to offer, including their son’s toys and books, which my four year old son just loved. We’re already planning another stay here next summer, and cannot recommend this home and host highly enough!

3. Staying with Magnus - always a pleasure. No question remains unanswered, lightning-fast solutions for everything. That wasn't the last time. Be it extra tea, apples from the garden, whatever - Magnus is always there - without being intrusive. You feel very comfortable. This time with my wife for the weekend. It was fun and relaxing. Walks to the nearby beach, great restaurant on the beach, wonderful surroundings, parking right in front of the house…all good.

Sandra and Per were perfect hosts. Their home is located in a lovely area with stunning views. The home is professionally decorated, but very cozy. Our grandchildren loved the trampoline. Every possible amenity was already there. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay with our children and grandchildren. The view from the Master Suite is so spectacular- we will always remember it. Thank you, thank you Sandra and Per

Håkan's house is really a great place! Fantastic view of the quiet island of Elgö. We really enjoyed it. The house is also very bright, spacious and friendly. Hakån and his wife are very friendly hosts who live in the house next door and respond quickly to questions but otherwise leave enough privacy. I'm sure we'll be back!

We were traveling as a family. Our children are already 20 and 16 years old and often have their own ideas about vacations. But we all agreed: The place is amazing! The house is super comfortably furnished and very well equipped. Everyone found their own feel-good place in the house, with wonderful views of the water. Outside on the terrace it was of course much nicer! We have been to Stockholm several times and have mostly taken the liner from Vaxholm to Stockholm. Highly recommended! But the connection with bus and subway also works well (We had an SL weekly ticket). After our city excursions, we enjoyed our accommodation and the tranquility. But of course you can also go for a wonderful walk on Resarö, swim, cycle... Thank you, Stefan, for making your home available to guests. We couldn't have imagined a better place to stay.

Lovely peaceful place. Short drive to bus into Stockholm. No restaurants close by but we were happy to cook at home. A few more condiments would have been very handy. Because we were resting, it would have been nice to have some footstools and coffee tables. All in all very nice. And very good communication with host.
