Beachfront vacation rentals in Redwoods

We had a fantastic stay! The apt. was perfectly furnished, clean and was in an excellent location. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating in Gold Beach. We will be back!

100 year old cabins that have been updated. My cabin had an all new shower! Very comfy bed that seemed brand new. Everything very clean. Beautiful spot in the Feather River Canyon. Quiet except when the trains roll through up the hill— it used to be an active depot. No whistle blowing, but you can hear the rhythm of the rails. Bear in mind that this is 1920s glamping vibes. So if you prefer the Hilton in 2025, you’re not going to like it. But if you love updated old school charm, you’ll love this place. No television (what a relief) and they ask you not to overuse the internet, but plenty of outdoor activities and games, and a private beach on the river. It would be great for a family, or weekend getaway. Thanks to Doug for welcoming me and then letting me have my privacy!

We loved the Sea Escape! It was much more than we imagined, and loved the big grassy area for our dogs to run and play and the beautiful overlook and steps down to the gorgeous, semi private beach! We will definitely recommend to others and come back on our next trip to the nor Cal beaches!

The rocky cliffs waves crashing view is wowzy. The roads to get there are a bit nerve racking if your used to mostly flat roads.

You can’t beat the location! This is our second time staying at this beautiful home and we can’t wait to come back. The beach is a mere steps away down an easy path. Many great restaurants just 5min away. The home was spacious and well stocked. Owner was great to communicate with.

This place is pure paradise! The ocean view is absolutely stunning, and the black sand beach just a small walk away makes it feel like a hidden gem. Every morning we woke up to the sound of the waves and watched pelicans and ospreys fly by—it was magical. The home was spotless when we arrived, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. The beds were super comfortable with high-quality linens, and we all slept great every night. The kitchen was a major highlight—huge, modern, and fully stocked with any appliance we needed. Whether we were cooking a full meal or just enjoying coffee with a view, it was perfect. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into every detail. We felt right at home and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and beautifully maintained beach escape!

Monica's townhome was perfectly clean and the hot tub exceptional. She was friendly and quick with responses to my questions.

We had a wonderful stay at Alessandra’s house. The views were absolutely stunning and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The home was spotless and clearly well cared for, which made us feel comfortable right away. Alessandra was an excellent host—her communication was prompt, clear, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything we needed was easy to find, and the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful place to stay! The amazing sandy beach is just 3min walk away, or the mouth of the river just 2min walk. And, the big backyard is just perfect for kids and pets! Of course the pool was a big hit with our kids! Great location to discover the beautiful nature around, while feeling like you are glamping at a great place. Really recommend!

This is the number 1 place for us in southern Oregon My daughter calls it paradise. Teresa is no. 1 too!

Had a great stay at Kim’s place. You were able to buy firewood onsite which was a plus since we didn’t have any and it saved us another trip once we just arrived after a long drive from the Bay Area. There is a fire pit and picnic bench at each site along with water which was super convenient.

What a treat! Taking a bath in the Redwoods was surreal! The dome was comfy and the heated blankets and fire kept me warm. The sauna was very relaxing and the property is just adorable and a place to check out from the rat race of society. I only wish I had more time. So much to do and see around the area! Many hikes and beautiful scenery at every turn. I would print out your instructions before you go. My cell didn't have service. There is also a small grocery nearby if you need anything. You are very close to the ocean also for a great sunset!

This place was absolutely a gem. Brenda made us feel welcomed immediately when we got there. She then led us to the fishing cabin which had amazing views. Overall this was such an amazingly private and gorgeous location. We will absolutely be back.

Trinidad is such a gem! From Michelle's place, it's a short walk to some bluffs with an incredibe view, and a little further to beautiful Trinidad State Beach and Trinidad head. Michelle's place was just what we needed to relax and get cozy in between trips to nearby beaches, tide pools and redwoods. Michelle was very communicative and check-in and check-out was easy. Stayed with my wife. Weather was chilly with fog and marine layer in late evening/morning. The highlights: The driveway looks like it leads to a house and garage but forks around it. Keep going until it ends! • View/ambiance was outstanding! Great from the patio or couch, perfect sunset views! • Walking to the beach entails a somewhat sketchy staircase and crossing a small lake. If you’re adventurous, you’ll be fine (a Kayak is available). Otherwise, that view tho… • Bathroom was great (even for two) and towels provided. But, Bring soap! • Bed was comfortable, bedding kept us toasty despite the chilly night. Room can be made dark which was great! • Kitchen - unsure, we opted to bring/reheat food. Turned out we could have cooked though! •Plenty of wifi on site, easy access to the room (no hassle on check-in). •Morning coffee, from the patio, watching the waves, under a blanket: Bliss! A bit pricey but definitely worth the splurge! Thank you, Bruce!

Sage's place is so beautiful! We loved our time there, walking by the river, watching all the birds, and relaxing by the wood burning fireplace. It was really lovely and we would definitely stay again.

Host Jarod was super responsive. I only had to reach out one time and it was for something I wasn't doing correctly. Our girl trip was more than we could have ever asked for. The amenities offered made our stay soooooo simple! This location is fully stocked and offered anything you could ever ask for or need. It was so nice to have a nice washer/dryer available! The pictures of the rooms don't do them justice, and the beds were very comfortable. The bedet in the master suite was a HUGE surprise! Haha. All photos on the airbnb site are very accurate and of course our favorite spot was sitting out on the deck taking in the gorgeous views and sunsets. During our stay there was even a mild earthquake in Fortuna causing ocean waves to get jump higher and break harder which was a site to see. Dangerous and beautiful all at the same time. Instructions left for guests could not be more clear. We are already thinking about another trip and when that happens, we'll definitely return here!
