The house is a cozy nest, very spacious and very well-equipped… Elina's house has contributed a lot to us having a good vacation, the sauna is great… All the rooms are large and warmly furnished despite the cold outside, it warmed our hearts… The exteriors offer a beautiful snowy landscape. Thank you very much! Wonderful place in a great location, it was wonderful to be steps away from the water. Comfortable house, we really enjoyed our stay. We didn't try sauna, because the air temperature was +26-29 and we had "sauna outside all the time". The car is must to have here, because grocery shops, restaurant are 20+ km to go.

A beautiful cottage in an absolutely gorgeous setting. The sauna was right on the lake and easy access to go swimming. The house and gardens were clean and very well functioning. Can warmly recommend this place!

It was an experience to stay here. The hosts great, I admire all the work they put in this unique place.

A beautiful complex of several houses in nature on the lake shore, perfect for families with kids. There is a well-equipped playground, a rowing boat with a motor, a sauna (with us she had a hot tub). You can rent sup boards and fast boats. You can swim from your own jetty. The water in the lake was warm and clean, perfect for bathing.

Beautiful house, feels remote but still connected to towns. Quiet beach, peaceful. Had a great stay!

This is a fabulous lakeside cottage. It has everything you could wish for: A peaceful, secluded location deep in the forest right on the lake.. We enjoyed fishing off the jetty, rowing the boat, kayaking and swimming in the beautiful clear water. The covered BBQ was great as you can also eat outside. The sauna cabin was perfect for midnight sauna and swims.

The cottage was spacious, high quality, and super functional. The beds were comfortable to sleep on, the living areas were cozy, and the kitchen was well-equipped. However, the sauna and hot tub crowned our vacation. We had a good time and are happy to recommend the place to anyone looking for peace in nature. Also great for larger groups.

We enjoyed the privacy and the beautiful snowy scenery to Lake Simpelejarvi. The host had made us a hole into the lake from the jetty, which we enjoyed dipping into the icy water “avanto” was a great experience :)

We had a great experience in this cottage. It is really in the middle of the nature with a great scenery. The cottage itself is very well built and cosy. The wooden sauna at the lake with its hot tub is awesome! Enjoying a dip in the lake in the evening and then a sauna was wonderful and unforgettable!!!

We spent 2 weeks in the house. The house is huge. Paradise for children. Large and beautiful territory. There is an apple tree and a plum tree. The lake is 15 minutes walk or 3 minutes by car. A magnificent public beach is 10 minutes drive from the house. Lots of mushrooms and berries. We recommend it with all our hearts.

Rikka’s place was exactly what we expected - relaxing and peaceful. The accommodation was exactly what was described. The surroundings were very relaxing and refreshing. I highly recommend for a nice staycation with the whole family.

After viewing the accommodation in Sulkava this way during the winter season, I quickly came to the conclusion that hotel accommodation is not the case. It was a work trip, so I needed functional connections and negotiating space. In addition, the kitchen had to be such as to make food and serving effortlessly. The listing exceeded expectations: there was a 5G connection, which isn't everyday in hotels in Finland. The apartment had a clear living area where the meeting went well, due to the combined kitchen, there was no need to walk in the so-called private space. In addition to work, the leisure time went smoothly, as the sauna + peaceful surroundings quickly got the body to relax. On a longer trip, you'll appreciate the washer and dryer (note for families with children). Kitchen equipment and dishes with brandware and nothing Ikea. I can wholeheartedly recommend a place for vacation and remote work. If you need restaurants and other services, it's a good idea to look at other places.

Everything is very good. Everything was ready for our arrival completely - the sauna is heated, the house is warmed, there is everything you need. A cozy environment and a beautiful landscape around which you can admire both from the house and from the open veranda. I will especially highlight the bathtub on the veranda, which was also ready for our vacation immediately after check-in. Thanks to the hosts! We had a good rest. We only regret that we did not shoot for a longer time, but we will stay longer next time. Thank you!

Cute cottage on its own. There were 8 of us, 6 staying in the cottage and 2 in the sauna chambers. We were able to fit comfortably. Our little car got the last cut of the cottage road to drive quite carefully the tongue in the middle of the mouth, but we survived this (another, higher, car didn't have a problem). We found everything we needed in the cabin, and the owner answered questions quickly.

Everything went great

Our stay in the house exceeded all expectations (four adults + one teen)! The house was clean, beautiful, and spacious, with comfortable beds and super nice living room to relax. It was superbly equipped, especially the kitchen, which had absolutely everything we needed for cooking and daily living. Communication was at the top – any question we had was answered within minutes. Furthermore, we had a road incident on the way to the place, and the host kindly came late in the evening to help us get the car out of snow. It was a wonderful time spent in this house, and we highly recommend it!
