Charming accommodations away from the hustle and bustle of a city. Our family loved seeing the sheep (and baby lambs!), horses, and dogs on the property surrounding the unit. Perfect centralized location if looking to spend time on the south coast without having to drive all the way from Reykjavik every day.

Wow! What a place! The home was absolutely beautiful. The children loved all the games and toys, and the playhouse bed was something from a dream, as was the bath in the bedroom. It was comfortable and roomy, and in the most peaceful setting. We took a walk to the waterfall down the road as recommended by the host and we're awed. I was very sad to leave this place and move on to the next.

Luckily saw the aurora, the house was cozy and the yard was huge.It was clean and at home.

Kids enjoyed the most because of the PlayStation .We loved the cute radio playing in the morning during breakfast and the coffee machine was perfect ! We were very comfortable in your house . House was perfect for a family of 4. Also loved the attractions folder . We enjoyed the Mexican food from the food truck company and the ice creams from the local shop. Watched a nice movie together last night . Was home away from home . Thanks a lot .

Staying on the farm was a truly special experience! The room had everything we needed — from a cooktop to an oven and felt like a home away from home. The dog was so friendly, and we loved petting the horses; all the animals had such amazing energy. The host was incredibly welcoming and even gave us fresh eggs for breakfast. We had a great conversation about organic farming and its role in reducing greenhouse gases. If you get the chance, definitely support this place — it's a unique and meaningful stay!

This house was our most beautiful and comfortable on our two-week tour of the Ring Road. The amenities are high quality, but cozy. Nothing is missing here! The hot tub on the terrace is also a dream. Our best experience was the Northern Lights. All around there is no light pollution, the terrace goes around the house, the ideal place for the aurora. Beautifully quiet location, close to the Golden Circle and Reykjavik. From here you can make many excursions. Many thanks to Sigurdur for the friendly and smooth communication! ❤️

Stunning and peaceful location off the beaten track! We had a great stay and David was responsive and helpful.

Well, we've stayed in a lot of awesome places all over the world and this ranks right up in the top 10% of anywhere we've stayed! Especially when you consider the location from which we spent the whole day with only a 25 minute drive... We drove to the beautiful Seljalandsfoss waterfall (and got soaked--raingear is a must), came back to our studio and walked to Skogafoss waterfall, walking up the steep steps for an amazing hike WAY upriver enjoying the many waterfalls and canyons... After that, a walk to Freya Cafe for a good meal in a rather interesting setting... Finally, we took a fairly short walk to the Kvernufoss waterfall, a smaller but beautiful waterfall that you can also walk behind... Then, an easy walk to our studio to reflect on an amazing day! Octavia and Alexandria were super friendly and helpful, and their Mom was sweet too... The studio itself was perfect! Intelligently laid out and super comfortable! Highly recommended if visiting the South Coast!

The house was at a great location, only 10 minutes from Seljalandfoss and Skogafoss. The surroundings were beautiful! The place was spotless, all amenities as described. The house was warm and cozy upon entry, bathroom was floor heated. Jon was very responsive. The only small drawback was that the road to the house was unpaved and a little hard to drive on, but thats a minor point. Would love to stay again!

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

Bryna's place was just what we were looking for! Very nice location, beds were great. plenty of room, and wonderfully decorated. We will definitely book again.

Good place to stay and the host was friendly and gave us few suggestions to visit around Iceland 🇮🇸. There is stream next to the property makes it gorgeous and plenty of horses enroute to this property. It's remote and there isn't any restaurants ir groceries near to it. Selfoss is the best town for you together your grocery and supplies. Electric hob and has got juts two burners and took ages to cook. There wasn't any ice tray but the host was kind enough to share us some ice cubes late night.. Overall its a nice play to stay if you can drive in a bit and enjoy nice walks around the property

Heiða’s place was adorable. We loved it. You are surrounded by beautiful views. The space itself is very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had two pleasant nights in Helena's studio in a quiet place with a beautiful garden and chickens. We were particularly pleased with the private toilet and the possibility to use the washer and dryer. The studio was clean and comfortable. Helena was very friendly and helpful – when the Wi-Fi didn't work, she took care of a solution right away. The fresh eggs from her chickens were also a nice touch. Her dog was also incredibly sweet and cute. The only small negative point was the shared shower, which was not quite clean on our arrival. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Wonderful place for our stay. Apartment was immaculate with all of the amenities that we could ever need Haraldur is a perfect host, it was a pleasure getting to know him and sharing things about our live and his. We will definitely keep in touch with our new friend
