There is free parking outside the apartment and good bus connections from downtown (5 min walk). There is also a commuter bus to Forus via UiS (Route X76). Close to nature: beaches, hiking trails, mountains and fjords. In Randaberg city center you will find, among other things, grocery stores, pharmacy, liquor store, hairdresser, clothing stores, cafe, bakery, restaurants and pub. There are many good takeaways (Thai, Indian, sushi, pizza).

Gamlahuset by the sea - near Stavanger

"Gamlahuset" from around 1880 is rented out. The house is located on a small courtyard in Gardsvågen on Talgje, 100 meters from the lake. Here there is a beach, and there are hiking trails around almost the entire island. From Gardsvågen it is 1 km to the speedboat dock. From here it is 20-50 min by speedboat to Stavanger. It is 35 minutes by car to Stavanger city center. At Talgje there are also opportunities for frisbee golf and sauna rental (Anker Gaard) and there is a sand volleyball court 1 km from the house.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, coffee maker, fridge and stove. In the living room there is a sofa bed that sleeps two people (150cm). You have access to free Wi-Fi. The apartment is 75 sqm. After you have used the city's facilities, this is a really great place to relax and catch your breath.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

Sit down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can go swimming in a river with fresh mountain water. Short distance to Jørpeland city centre (10 min walk, 5 min to drive) with all necessary shops available.
