We had an incredible stay at Davide’s. A perfect country getaway. We were lucky enough to have had Davide make us the most delicious dinner followed by a wonderful morning spread. We almost didn’t leave! Thanks again for such a genuine experience.

Valentina was a great host and made us feel welcome right away. We found the street easily, but couldn't find the house number after driving up and down. Valentina was immediately responsive and came to greet us. The house was large and spacious. There was also a pool at the house which wasn't on the listing when we had booked it, which was a very welcome surprise! Having a separate room for our 2 year old to sleep was great and meant that the parents could stay up and enjoy the house after our daughter went to bed. Would recommend to anyone staying in this area of Sicily!

This house was beyond our expectations - it’s more like a mansion than a house. It’s on an amazing property, private with a lush garden, patios in all directions and it overlooks the ocean and the nearby castle! We were three families who shared this house and it had the perfect setup with the 5 bedrooms almost mimicking three minor apartments / wings, offering privacy for all. The shared spaces; living room, dining room and kitchen were all super cozy, well lit, and had all amenities. We are so happy we booked this house for our stay exploring southern Sicily! Alessandra was super communicative and an excellent host.

Roberto was a great host. We had a great time. The house was more than complete and clean. Everything was available. Beers and wine and water were ready for us. The pool was top notch. There was a shower with toilet and a kitchenette with fridge. Roberto invited us to lunch which was very cozy. The big downside was the busy road along the house. Too bad the shop was closed 50 m away. Surroundings tips: Ragusa Ibla, Siracusa Ortigia are very nice to visit. Roberto and Rita thank you we enjoyed it. Dini, Ben, Bernard and Ludwien.

We spent 6 nights and it was a lovely relaxing spot.When you read the listing details, be aware the host is not exaggerating when they say there are dirt and gravel roads to get to the property so long as you drive slow and aren't in a sports car you will manage the final part of the journey. Do not let that put you off, the location is off the beaten track peaceful. Giuseppa and her extendedfamily could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We were even surprised by our supper on arrival ( we arrived fairly late)Pizza from her sister's restaurant. The grounds are large and well maintained with plenty of space for children to run around and explore and play. The pool and water pistols were a big hit with our grandson. The hot tub was enjoyed by his parents. All in all a private spot for relaxing and enjoying family time. We as a family recommend this place.

Raffaele & his wife were most accommodating and welcoming! They were flexible to our arrival time and were at the property waiting for us when we arrived, they very kindly made us traditional Sicilian foods which were still warm when we arrived and were absolutely delicious (just what we needed after a 13 hour drive from Tuscany) they gifted us a bottle of their own organic Wine and Olive Oil. They sent us a message on booking with details and welcoming us to the villa, on arrival they sent us details of local eateries and towns to visit. The hosts didn’t speak any English but were well acquainted with a translation app which made things very easy. The home was very clean and tidy and had every amenity we required. The outdoor lights were lovely and glowing! You definitely need a car for this location. Would highly recommend

First of all, the host was a very kind and helpful lady. She waited for us even if we arrived very late in the night. We are very grateful for that. And she also helped us on our last day when we had a problem with our car. Thank you again! The property is in a very nice location, with beautiful views from the pool area. Is also a very quiet place. Perfect for relaxing, working or just hang out with friends. The garden is awesome, well maintained and lots of space. Every apartment is equipped with everything you need. You can find markets or restaurants at just 10-15 minutes drive (ask the host, she was very helpful with this kind of info). You need a car because otherwise I don’t think it’s possible to move around that area. I gladly recommend this place! If you want to go to the sea, the nearest beach is 45-50 minutes away by car.
