The Lakehouse is even better than the pictures, it’s a perfect place to relax or as a base to explore the local area. The villa also has kayaks and paddle boards to explore the lake. The hosts David and Chrissie are the most accommodating organised people I have come across on air bnb. I highly recommend.

Had a great stay here! We were able to check in early and was greeted by the owner with espresso and peach cake! Echo provided helpful translation when needed. We also received an invitation to the family's alpaca farm that night. The room itself was very clean and cutely appointed. We were only there for one night, but it had all the basics we needed with the exception of dish soap. The pool was a fabulous respite from the extreme heat - it's not a lap pool but plenty of room to swim around and relax. It is located an easy walk across the street to the lake. About a five minute walk to the grocery store. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to the top of town. about a 20 minute walk from the train station. We ate at Ostteria le Scalette & had a great meal. We took a passagiatta through town after dinner & came across a marching jazz band that processed through town. All around a great trip to Castiglione Del Lago! Would highly recommend Residence Rainieri & the town and hope to be able to visit again!

It was our third time staying at Maurizio and Giuseppina's apartment, and every time is always a wonderful experience! The apartment is spacious, well equipped and cared for with great attention to detail. The location is ideal, with great restaurants nearby and everything you need to explore the area. Maurizio and Giuseppina are attentive and helpful hosts, always ready to make your stay pleasant. A very special gesture was receiving their olive oil, a touch of hospitality that we really appreciated! Both in summer and winter, the apartment is perfect: cool and comfortable during the heat, cozy and warm in the colder months. Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning again!

Great place for spending the weekend!

Very beautiful place and very peaceful. Beautiful area to visit Umbria and its many famous sites. Giuseppina and her son Maurizio are lovely hosts. Very helpful and friendly. Overall a beautiful experience. Two comments: to reach the toilet one has to cross one of the bedrooms (not a problem for us but good to know). And many restaurants in Magione were already closed in October (not the hosts’ ‘mistake’ but good to know too).

A great experience just a stone's throw from the highway toll booth. An area with gardens and lots of activities, right next to the center.

The farmhouse is in a perfect location with lake views.. spectacular sunsets! Great living room , comfortable and well heated environments. Very helpful host for every request. Thanks to Susanna for her availability and kindness!

Antonella's aunt greeted us, and shoved us around and made sure we settled in. We had an issue with the wi-fi, and Antonella replied quick to our questions so we solved it fast. The apartment is really good for 3 people who wish for a quiet place. We highly recommend Antonella as host.

We had a great week at Silvia's house. From the first moment, we really felt at home. The view from the house of the lake is beautiful and the sunsets are magical. The house itself is genuinely equipped with all comforts. The beds are wonderful, the bathrooms are perfect and the kitchen is very extensive. Furthermore, it is also noticeable that everything is really super clean and tidy. A lot of time and effort has been put into having everything perfect. The surroundings are of course magnificent. You have the beautiful lake in your backyard, but you are also in Tuscany. So there is plenty to see and do. Silvia is also a very nice and kind host. Communication is very pleasant and fast and she sends a very detailed explanation and tips before your arrival. And if there are any questions in between, she is immediately ready to help you. We hope to be returning one day.

This is a lovely place with a stunning view. It is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need during your stay. There are many restaurants all around, as well as shops and a grocery store close by. The owners are very responsive and helpful and I highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed!
