This place was incredible, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The views from the front sitting area were absolutely stunning, with a perfect line of sight to Study Butte and the Chisos Mountains. I loved the eco-conscious design of the home, it felt peaceful, intentional, and in harmony with the Terlingua landscape. The host was wonderful, extremely friendly and welcoming. She even took the time to teach the kids a bit about what it’s like to live out here, from conserving rainwater to reading the clouds. It added a thoughtful, personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a scenic, meaningful escape with comfort and character.

The three of us had a wonderful, peaceful retreat. We learned to cook some of the local cuisine. Enjoyed floating in the pools and stream, massages, walks in the forest, sustainable architecture with bamboo and thatched roofs. The compound is astonishingly beautiful in its natural beauty. We can't say enough about the hospitality of the host and her cooking and knowledge. The peacocks were particularly enjoyable to watch, we never minded their calls. We also found the steps a good daily exercise for us. It was a perfect stay for us who enjoy nature and the sustainable ways in which we engage with it. We also visited the nearby villages and city of Cuernavaca and the archeological site of Xochicalco, which we loved.

It was a perfect place. Comfortable and charming with absolutely anything you could need or want. Will definitely return !

Our home in the desert! Lovely house, beautifully decorated, spacious, well appointed. Has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed the sunrise, the sunset, the silence and gazing at the stars at night. The Wifi is not very strong but it works. The host is responsive and affable. Highly recommended!

This was probably the most unique and memorable Airbnb we’ve stayed at so far! We absolutely loved the peace and quiet—it truly felt like an escape from the world. The views were stunning, with Big Bend practically in the backyard, and we even got to enjoy a bit of hiking up the beautiful ridge on the property. The outdoor shower was so cool with an amazing view, and even the outhouse had its own charm! One thing to note is the drive to the property—it’s down a secluded, rocky road, and GPS won’t quite get you there. We made the mistake of arriving after dark, which made it trickier, even with the detailed directions provided by the host. I’d definitely recommend arriving during daylight for a smoother experience. All in all, we highly recommend this little oasis. It was a beautiful, serene getaway and a highlight of our time in Terlingua—one we’ll remember fondly!

The Earthbag home was absolutely incredible! Jamie did a phenomenal job creating this off-grid paradise. It was so well laid out, with walking paths, plenty of outdoor areas to hang out & star gaze. The views here were incredible from sunrise to sunset the views were breathtaking. I even enjoyed the private view from the outdoor shower! Jamie was extremely communicative & detailed with instructions which made it easy to navigate. We would absolutely stay here again!

It was an incredible experience and was everything that was promised and more. Hector and his family are the kindest and most welcoming people. Me and my fiancée both really enjoyed our stay at his place and will be definitely coming back soon

Our family had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at Casa Coyote! The house was very spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views and loads of prairie dogs and cows to enjoy watching, gorgeous sunsets and very peaceful surrounds. We enjoyed the private hot tub and grill. The house is very welcoming with comfortable beds, well-fitted kitchen, high ceilings and pretty art throughout. It wasn’t easy to go for walks from the house due to the roads not having much shoulder, but a short drive to trailheads, 15min drive to the ski area in one direction and Taos in the other. We also enjoyed the nearby Arroyo Seco town with cute cafe, mercantile and galleries. Highly recommend if you are looking for a private, peaceful place to unwind!

We had a great time at Linda’s place with our two kids. Her house is a lovely little museum where you feel cosy and at home. Very nice backyard where you can enjoy the sun and the peaceful neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay in Jeff's old mill house. It's an excellent location in Taos, just off the Plaza, and walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to do in town. We were there for a concert in Kit Carson Park, so it was especially nice to be able to leave our car in a dedicated spot rather than deal with the crowds all looking to park nearby. We would highly recommend staying with Jeff if you're going to Taos, and will almost certainly will again!

We really enjoyed our stay here— the view was so beautiful and all the amenities at the house were amazing. It was very comfortable. Most of all, we’ve never had such a friendly and helpful host. We will return for sure.

Fabulous private getaway. The cabin was off the beaten path but just a few minutes out of town. Coffee on the porch swing while listening to birdsong was the highlight of each morning.

We stayed at Kitty’s Castia for quite a while — almost 3 months! Check-in was super easy, the casita was absolutely beautiful, it was about a 15 minute drive to the ski mountain which was perfect as we spent a lot of time on the mountain. The hot tub + sunsets were fantastic. And Kitty was always super kind, helpful, and flexible. The biggest bummer is that we had to leave at all! We highly recommend Kitty’s Casita!

The casita was just as magical as it looked in the pictures, and I swear the owners thought of everything you might need - thoughtful touches were everywhere. My husband and I stayed for more than a week and we felt we barely scratched the surface of everything northern NM has to offer. After a long day of hiking we loved coming back to the casita with its peaceful courtyard, beautiful light streaming in, and friendly llama neighbors and an occasional cat visitor. The casita is also walking distance to the Taos plaza and the nicer northern neighborhoods of Taos. We will definitely be back!

We had such a great time in this cute home!! It was perfect—-loved the decor, the walkability to restaurants and shops in town, the front porch, and the seamless check-in/checkout process! We totally recommend this Marfa Charmer!

Todo super bien ! el lugar super acogedor y seguro , un excelente lugar si tienes perritos, hay mucha zona para que puedan estar libres y de manera segura. Muy tranquilo y limpio con todo lo indispensable. Diana siempre estuvo al pendiente y muy clara todas las indicaciones, definitivamente volvería.

La cabaña es muyuy bonita y diferente. Es un lugar muy cómodo para estar con la familia. La recomiendo mucho.

Un excelente anfitrión muy pendiente de nuestras necesidades . Por ejemplo llevamos una unidad mediana difícil de estacionar en el lugar y nos proporcionó un estacionamiento con un vecino muy cerca y seguro con muy poco costo (100 pesos). La casa es una experiencia por sí misma arquitectónica y visualmente . Muy amplia . Los baños muy limpios y todas las recámaras . Toallas y sábanas excelentes . Definitivamente un lugar para disfrutar internamente y las vistas de las recámaras hermosas .

Had the most relaxing weekend at the Moon House! It was perfect for a solo trip. The bed was super comfortable and the space was homey and cute. The location was only a 5 minute drive to the Plaza! Besides the great location and space, Elizabeth was so helpful. The wifi wasn’t working when I arrived and she immediately called Verizon and then went to the Verizon store and got it fixed. It was so kind and made for a cozy weekend to watch movies on the Roku TV. Would definitely stay here again! I definitely recommend driving out to Ojo Caliente Spa to try the mineral hot springs.

La casa es hermosa y está muy bien decorada y equipada. La alberca se puede tener caliente y disfrutarla al máximo aunque sea invierno. Alonso es una persona muy agradable y está siempre pendiente de lo que necesites. El acceso considero que es lo único complejo, en nuestro caso no porque teníamos un vehículo todo terreno, pero para autos puede ser complicado. Realmente un lugar muy lindo si lo que buscas es desconexión y no estar saliendo todo el tiempo al pueblo. Volveremos!

Excelente casa para disfruta de la tranquilidad con un jardin amp lui y una alberca deli! Gracias Nash nos encantó. Recomiendo las dos cocineras que nos acompañaron. Comida rica y de un gran amabilidad y ayuda gracias

Todo estuvo excelente. La casa está muy amplia y equipada. Cada habitación con su baño muy completo. Tiene un estilo encantador, la decoración está increíble! En la parte superior hay una terraza con sillones y asador, se puede comer ahí y disfrutar de una vista excepcional de la ciudad. Sin duda muy recomendado! Excelente comunicación del anfitrión, volveremos!
