I stayed here with my husband and 2 young children on a visit to Holmfirth to see my best friend. Simon was so helpful and went above and beyond for our stay. He ensured everything was set up for us including an extra bed for the children, fresh bread on the side, and milk in the fridge. Also loved the fresh coffee available. Our kids loved running circles around the the flat and Simon even made a point to say to not worry about the kids running around as his children even loved doing that when they were young. So it was very nice to be in a family friendly place. Even the fresh tulips on the table made us smile. Thank you Simon for a lovely stay!

The flat was immaculate. Avril was very welcoming and helpful.

Really comfy bed! 10 minutes walk into Holmfirth (loads of eateries and quirky pubs - try the Nook!) Scenic rambles on your doorstep Really quiet We'll be back :-)

A beautiful basement apartment. Very well appointed, great shower, a coffee machine & very comfortable beds. The host was very helpful and responsive

We had a fabulous stay at the bunker when going to a wedding at a nearby farm. Diana couldn’t have done more for us & was very kind, especially letting my nephew feed the chickens and fuss the dog. It is a spacious & comfortable home from home in the lovely town of Holmfirth.

Just what we were looking for - long scenic walks in beautiful surroundings. The flat was so lovely and was comfortable with everything we needed - with wonderful views. Perfect get away.

Easy to get to and walk into town. Parking on site was useful and the area was quiet. The space was good for our family to stay for a few days and had everything we needed

Great flat centrally located and close to just about everything - every place we went to, be it museum, restaurant or gardens was at the very most 15 minutes away, but more generally less than ten minutes (by foot). Super responsive, incredibly friendly and generally just great hosts. We had one tiny issue (beyond their control) which they resolved for us incredibly quickly and proactively- would very highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in York

We had a fantastic stay, gorgeous bedrooms and comfy beds. Enough bathrooms/ toilets for 8 of us. Lots of seating areas and the pool table room was brilliant. Short 10 min walk to lively pubs and places to eat. Spaces to park cars and the house had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back

A wonderful house in a lovely location! As a large group comprising a 19 month old, an almost 3 year old, a 5 year old, two 30-something couples and a couple celebrating their 70th birthdays this year, nobody wanted for anything. The house is furnished to a very high specification, everything is spotlessly clean, and there is plenty of space for everyone to socialise together. The kitchen is very well equipped and the view from the back garden (and the hot tub) is beautiful. The games room is also a nice touch! We had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend this house.

Brilliant cottage to stay in! Perfect spot to explore the local area, we walked back from next level restaurant in Halifax but had taken the bus into the center. Great close by sights to see and explore, such a good spot for Shibden Park literally around the corner from the cottage. Couldn’t fault the cottage at all! Extremely well kept, set up and Nicole was on hand super quick with any queries and recommendations. Just a shame that we could stay and explore for longer! We stayed as a family of four (6yrs+8yrs) great as a base for Eureka. Thanks again for a great stay

Where do I start there is just so many positive things. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my sister and bridesmaids it was just beautiful in fact stunning. I was amazing. I asked for an early check in as I wanted to take some wedding things across, not only did Claire accommodate me she left a card chocolates and flowers, ironically from the same florist as my wedding flowers. I cried at the thoughtfulness. During the evening Claire then left homemade cakes at the door they were delicious btw. From myself and my wedding party you just blow us away from home he stunning cottage to the views and you being the most amazing kind host. Thank you.

Such a wonderful home for our one night. We wished it could have been for longer. Everything you could want, comfy beds, great showers, neat kitchen. Dogs loved it too!

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this Airbnb if you are staying in the area. The accommodation was clean and very well equipped. The only negative I have is there is no chair in the bedrooms to pop your clothes on.

This was my second time staying at Ben and Kate's place. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to stay somewhere peaceful but within a few minutes walking distance into the town centre. They have the comfiest bed and leave delicious chocolates too.

Perfection!! Clive's place is a wonderful place to stay. Clive and Julie are great hosts, friendly, helpful, accommodating and very welcoming. The welcome 'goodies' were very appreciated and tasty. The unit is very tastefully decorated and well appointed, the bed is super comfy and the shower is large with good water pressure. The outdoor area is a real delight, we sat and watched the ducks, the other birds (saw kingfishers!) and the squirrels. We had everything we needed for a happy, memorable stay. There are lots of walks in the area, plus a number of interesting things to see and do. It's an easy train ride to York, Harrogate and Leeds and the station is a short walk from the unit. There are a lot of pubs and cafes within easy walk - The Half Moon pub does delicious pizza! Overall, we very highly recommend Clive's unit and would return often if we could.

This is a perfectly located flat for visiting Slaithwaite and its environs. Very well appointed and clean. Just be aware there is an alarm which needs to be deactivated on arrival - we missed that piece of information! - so the grandkids were quite upset on our arrival. Fortunately we were able to get hold of the code quite quickly and deactivate it. Apart from that we had a great stay and plan to return soon.

The studio was lovely! the water pressure was a little poor and the taps in the bathroom were too close to the sink but thats not unliveable! we kept the studio as clean as possible but it was very clean already! it was decently easy to get to, clear instructions on how to get in. The bed was comfy and the fact there was no tv made it so much more enjoyable because we actually planned out our days instead of slumped over watching netflix all day 😂 lots of busses around and VERY comfy and cosy. Clean and warm. Thank you to the host for allowing us to stay here!
