Lovely place with wonderful views, fabulous food and great host. Highly recommended. The area is superb - friendly people, stunning scenery, whilst not feeling overly touristy. Would definitely stay at Jos' place again when next in the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mirella’s home, and she is an incredible host! From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt completely at home. The house is inviting and cozy, with a spectacular outdoor terrace that makes it the perfect retreat. The views and location are amazing—just steps away from our favorite beach, and an easy drive to several other beautiful beaches. We truly felt like we discovered a hidden gem and can’t wait to return!

The place is great and as described. The view is spectacular and you have everything you need in the house and for us as a small family it was perfect. But you have to remember that it's an old house and not everything is super modern like in a hotel. That was not a problem for us and we felt very comfortable. When we sent messages to the host, we always received a response within a very short time and a solution was immediately found for a minor problem that occurred. We would like to thank Luca for his hospitality and support and if it turns out one day that we make another stop in southern Italy or go on vacation, then we will choose this accommodation again!

Ezio and his family were very helpful hosts. And the house is perfect for those looking for a peaceful vacation and want to relax near the sea or in the mountains. Also for four-legged friends there is a beautiful garden.

The experience at Casa Braida was simply extraordinary! Surrounded by an enchanting setting of greenery and history, the property offers a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The room is well cared for in detail, clean and tastefully furnished, the perfect environment for regenerating, a well cleaned bathroom, while the LED lights in the kitchen create an extremely quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Michele's warm welcome made me feel at home. Always available and ready to provide tips on the best places to visit and restaurants to try, it made my stay even more special. The location is really strategic, ideal for exploring the area and moving even further away. If you're looking for a place to spend unforgettable moments, this is the perfect choice. Our tour of Southern Italy included a two-day stop in Maratea. Already on the first evening, it was concluded that two days are not enough to get to know and experience this region. About the home: In our Airbnb experience, this is the first home where we felt at home and especially welcome when we entered and met the host Luisa!!! The house corresponds to the offer and needs, has everything necessary for relaxation and even more, added value - a garden whose fruits we were treated to, a terrace from which we enjoyed wonderful views of the mountains and the statue of Jesus Christ. Landlady Luisa - responsive, warm, helpful! She was always available and gave recommendations for getting to know the area. Sincere thanks to Luisa and her dad for organizing the excursion to Monte San Biagio and for the overnight trip to the beach! Special thanks for the delicious pizza and chestnuts baked by Luisa!

This was our second stay in this apartment and we hope to come back.

There were two of us traveling with a baby and we felt extraordinarily comfortable. Maria was super friendly and helpful. The village is really wonderfully located and in spring summer certainly perfect for numerous day hikes or by car to the sea. Bar, Marcellaria, Pizzeria, Alimentari all available. In the sunshine you have a wonderful view up to the coast and sometimes to Lipari. The municipality of Tortorella is generally super hospitable and if you want you can even have homemade food brought into the accommodation. We had really nice and cozy days despite winter. Maria was always available for questions, tips, etc. You can tell that you care about the place itself.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very tranquil and relaxing. Thank you for the nice accommodations.

Pasquale was super flexible with times, additional blankets and responded quickly to requests. Pasquale is easy to reach by phone. The room is nicely furnished with water, cookies and a coffee machine is available downstairs with a fridge.

Raffaele is a very considerate, caring and concerned host for the well-being of the guests he welcomes. The outdoor space is beautifully arranged for relaxing in the afternoon sun. The site is private and fenced. Perfect if you come with a dog. A beautiful place in a typical village.

Organizing a last-minute vacation and finding yourself in a paradise. We chose the house captured in the photos and as rarely happens, reality has exceeded expectations. The house is in the hilly area and the first thing that strikes when entering through the gate is the beautiful view of Marina di Camerota,melancholy at sunset when the voices of people who linger on the beach. The apartment is as pictured, equipped with all comforts and really very clean;the outdoor space with table,deck chairs and umbrella is very well cared for. The location is very convenient because it is far from the chaos,but at the same time in a few minutes you can reach the village and the nearest beach. The stay will also remain unforgettable and above all for the welcome of Rosalia and Franco, two extraordinary people, very kind, present but at the same time very discreet. Angela is an amazing person, the accommodation offered is superb, the place is quiet and restful, the pool is a real plus, and the garden with sunbed and hammock is great. Angela recommended us restaurants that were divine, where we were welcomed great, she had even booked for us! In short, go there without so much as a second thought. Big favorite for Malaika and especially Nana, her dogs who are so adorable!

Upon our arrival we found Elena, Vincenzo's mother, who was very kind to wait for our arrival later than the scheduled check-in time. The house is equipped with all the services described, so you feel like you're at home. Cleanliness and tidiness are the order of the day. The location of the accommodation is strategic among the various points of interest of the town and five minutes from the nearest beaches. What can I say, five stars deserved!

The view from all windows was stunning. The apartment was very clean. The balcony was a show stopper - sitting out overlooking the Sea was drop dead gorgeous. Though the road could be a little noisy at times with cars or pedestrians, it didn't impede our trip at all. The view was almost surreal. The bed was very firm (typical for an Italian home, we've found). The kitchen could've done with a few essentials - maybe some salt, sugar, coffee etc. But, regardless it was all fabulous and wouldn't stop us from coming back. Elena was an absolute delight, there if you need her, but always allowing for her guests privacy. We Loved the space, loved Elena and can't wait to come back!

This is an ideal place from which to explore the eastern Basilicata as well as providing a stylish and quiet home base for a couple of days. Views from the terrace were very special.

If we could give 6 stars to Michela and Angelo and their bnb, we would. Fantastic hosts and absolutely stunning apartments. First, Sasso di Castalda is a wonderful town, especially if you like hiking and exploring. Unlike some hilltop towns, here, you can meander anywhere...and there are stunning views and vistas around every corner. The Tibetan Bridge is just a 5 minute walk from the apartment and there is a restaurant, pub, minimarket, and Michela and Angelo's grocery with tasty, locally produced foods within easy walking distance. The town is super safe and free parking is located on the street immediately in front of the apartment. The road down the hill from the unit is a little steep and narrow, so be prepared, but the street that the apartment is on is plenty wide enough for safe street parking. The two bedrooms are nearly identical. Both have large and beautifully designed and fixtured, ensuite bathrooms with plentiful  hot water. The apartment was designed by a Sicilian architect who did an amazing job of designing such beautiful spaces. Subtle design transparencies, layering, textural, and material changes are used throughout to give an open and light feeling to the rooms. The rooms were spotless and impeccably cleaned and maintained. And the breakfast!We have to leave or we'd be 600 pounds! Michela baked torts, cakes, and cupcakes. Angelo hadocally-sourced cheese and meat slices. Fruit, juices, toast, bread....and copious amounts of coffee, cappuccino, and espressi! We found it hard to leave and wished we had stayed longer. We see good things in the future for the town and for our hosts. Highly recommend. Twoat items, this is neither the town or place to stay if you are mobility challenged. Also there are church bells that toll, which we found charming an appropriate but others may not.
