There is no way to accurately describe the views of the Tuscany countryside from this wonderful villa. The updating of the house left nothing to be desired. Indoor and outdoor amenities are perfect for a large group or family. It's a great home base, as it's centrally located. We took day trips to Assisi, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Monticchhiello, Pienza, Siena, and Orvieto. And so close to the hidden gem of Bagno Vignoni - don't skip it. Kathleen was one of the best hosts we have ever had. From recommendations and directions to introductions to chefs and wine tour guides. She was quickly responsive to all of our questions throughout the process. You will love everything about this place. We would definitely go back.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at Paolo and Monica’s 800-year-old farmhouse — and it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The home itself is stunning: full of history, character, and comfort, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Each morning, Paolo and Monica prepared a beautiful, fresh breakfast spread complete with homemade cakes and warm, delicious options that started our days off with so much care and joy. The hospitality was truly beyond compare — Paolo and Monica are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with the many animals they lovingly care for. From eagles and owls to donkeys, horses, peacocks, ducks, and sheep — it felt like something out of a storybook. Monica’s passion for rescuing and training animals is inspiring, and added such a special, personal touch to the experience. Thier home is filled with beauty, warmth, and heart. Our stay at La Casa dell Abate was truly wonderful and memorable and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys beauty and comfort off the beaten path. From the moment we arrived, Allesio was welcoming, friendly, showed us around the home and offered tips on what to do. He will also offer you the opportunity for a pasta class or gourmet dinner which is prepared by their friend Francesco, in the private garden/outdoor kitchen. We really enjoyed this experience. Their home is beautifully decorated yet maintains the charm of the 16th century in which the village was built. We slept great in the peaceful surroundings and the comfortable beds with nice linens. A super cute place to stay, while it was just outside of the main town of Montepulciano, it was very peaceful and lovely home with plenty of character. Pier Luigi was a gracious host and even gave us welcome and departing gifts. We loved our stay here, Thank you Pier for your hospitality.

Our days were filled with adventure as we embarked on various hiking trails and visits to nearby vineyards and historic towns. Mr. Piero's place is located in the hills just outside Orvieto and enjoys a beautiful view. The place is ideal for those who, like us, have a dog, even large, because the property is fenced and the space available to dogs is really spacious. The apartment has everything you need to spend a relaxing stay, surrounded by nature. The location is strategic to visit several destinations of Umbria, Maremma and Tuscia. Mr. Piero was a kind and helpful host, with whom it was always easy to communicate. 100% recommended

This is a beautifully and tastefully renovated apartment in a great country location. Perfect for relaxed stay and as a base for seeing Orvieto. All facilities are of high standard. Everything worked. Wifi was very fast too. The hosts were great.
