There is no way to accurately describe the views of the Tuscany countryside from this wonderful villa. The updating of the house left nothing to be desired. Indoor and outdoor amenities are perfect for a large group or family. It's a great home base, as it's centrally located. We took day trips to Assisi, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Monticchhiello, Pienza, Siena, and Orvieto. And so close to the hidden gem of Bagno Vignoni - don't skip it. Kathleen was one of the best hosts we have ever had. From recommendations and directions to introductions to chefs and wine tour guides. She was quickly responsive to all of our questions throughout the process. You will love everything about this place. We would definitely go back.

We had wonderful stay at Casale Zeno. The pristine environment is exactly what we needed and the beautiful sceneries surrounding the property were divine. Jo and Tony are very friendly hosts and it was pleasure staying at their place. We really appreciate all the small details provided in the accommodation along with the super comfortable mattress and pillows. The house is a perfect base for exploring Orvieto and the fantastic region around it. We would happily come back and recommend it. Thank you for a magical stay!

THE BEST! My first view out the small terrace was possibly the most beautiful I will ever see: a large mountainside of fields, olive and grape vineyards, quaint homes and large monasteries, winding roads and long high speed passenger trains! Inside, the design and materials of this home cannot be beat: a beautiful combination of 3000 year old history stocked full of modern comforts! Open the doors and windows and feel the breeze waft through smelling of honeysuckle and jasmine. Giovanni’s Castle on the Rock is just amazing. We especially were interested in the Orvieto tuff caves dug by the Bronze Age Etruscans. Beneath our feet were two floors of these caves, beautifully finished and lit with marble and tile floors and steps. Nearby were two more remarkable systems of caves: Il Labirinto and Della La Cava. The latter is less than a block away. Both are far better than the Orvieto Underground! Treat yourselves to this delightful discovery! It’s the perfect rest stop in a medieval city!

Fantastic place and fantastic hosts. We spent a month here with our baby and it could not have been better. Pietro and Christina are friendly, helpful and warm. Strongly recommend to those who are looking for a peaceful and charming place in the middle of Umbria

Sabrina was the perfect host. Her home was wonderful and comfortable. Exactly as described. The location and views of the surrounding hills was spectacular. Amazing sunset! Her recommendation for us to eat at Al Pozzo Etrusco Ristorante was spot on. We used her name and the restaurant made us a reservation to eat. We used her recommendations on where to visit in Orvieto. Thank you Rosetta for such a memorable stay! Will stay here again if we come back to Orvieto!

We stayed seven nights in the accommodation and felt comfortable. Communication was very good and Maurizio helpful and the reception warm (including cake). The house and surroundings are very nice, you have a great view of the countryside and can take small hikes from the house. On the terrace there are seating areas, in the sun and in the shade of trees. Supermarkets and Orvieto are quickly accessible by car. Excursions to Bolsena and Civitia di Bagnoregio, which can be reached within half an hour's drive, are recommended. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the pool because the weather was still too cool. We highly recommend this property.

Our days were filled with adventure as we embarked on various hiking trails and visits to nearby vineyards and historic towns. The hosts at Palazzzetto di Marmo went above and beyond in providing us with everything we needed. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful recommendations on local attractions, we felt well taken care of at all times. In summary, our stay at Palazzetto di Marmo exceeded every expectation. Mr. Piero's place is located in the hills just outside Orvieto and enjoys a beautiful view. The place is ideal for those who, like us, have a dog, even large, because the property is fenced and the space available to dogs is really spacious. The apartment has everything you need to spend a relaxing stay, surrounded by nature. The location is strategic to visit several destinations of Umbria, Maremma and Tuscia. Mr. Piero was a kind and helpful host, with whom it was always easy to communicate. 100% recommended
