The Old School House is a listed building that’s brimming with history. This spacious, four-bedroom holiday home now features sumptuous furnishings and an 8-person hot tub overlooking the gardens. The house can accommodate up to eight adults comfortably, and is a firm favourite with hill walkers and mountain bikers because of its proximity to Galloway Forest Park

Close to beaches, Golf, Fishing, and the attractive seaside village of Portpatrick, with restaurants. The ferry to Belfast & Larne (6 ) at Cairnryan. Stranraer ( 7) miles with all facilities. In the cooler months the log fire heats the hut up very quickly. Wood provided. Drying facilities at house. If you want something different Glenwhan Gardens is for you.

You can expect awesome starry skies, and if you're lucky, maybe even the Aurora. Glentrool is all about the outdoors, with plenty of biking, wild swimming and walking nearby. We are right in the heart of the stunning Galloway Forest and part of the UNESCO designated Biosphere, with trees, streams, lochs and mountains right on the doorstep.

The Granary is situated on our small working farm with stunning views over Wigtown Bay. Sleeps 2/4 with twin or double bedroom downstairs, single/double bed can be provided in lounge. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.

Restored in 2017, The Old Bank is a former bank converted to a quirky but luxurious base to enjoy Portaferry and explore the Strangford area. With a fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms (master ensuite with shower), another two bathrooms (one with shower) and of course a vault! Instagram friendly.. Great for couples and small families. Between Mount Stewart (15 mins) and Castle Ward (ferry). Game of Thrones locations, the Mournes, and Titanic Belfast (under an hour).

The yurt is solar powered with 12vt lights and has a wood burning stove, shower room and composting toilet. The yurt has a double bed and three singles (all with down duvets) so sleeps 4 x1 or 1x2 and 3x1 . A luxury holiday cottage consisting of a wing of Kildrochet House, an early 18th Century Grade B listed building. Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.

Back Lodge. Alticry Farm

Well appointed cottage with spectacular setting and very private. Panoramic views over Luce Bay. Mull of Galloway lighthouse is the view from your double bed. Please note electric cars can be charged at Wigtown or Whithorn. Fast charges 50kw and 25p/kilowatt. Cottage wiring and fuses not suitable. The low power adds 4miles per charge and puts a great strain on the wiring/fuses. Like leaving a 8 bar heater on therefore not available at the cottage.
