The Bothy is a rural, coastal, studio cottage.
This unique place has a style all of its own. The Bothy is newly renovated and offers a peaceful, coastal getaway for 2. It is a twin bedded studio cottage with a separate bathroom and shower. There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

Seaside retreat, 7 minutes walk to the shore.
Seaside home-from-home, on the east cliff of the village, 7 minutes walk down to the shore. (Slower coming back up!) Walk to the Post Office, bakers, cafe, pubs, restaurants, gift shops. Hide away, walk the cliffs and glen, swim, golf, putt, fish, cycle. Enjoy dark skies. Explore Mull of Galloway, our many gardens, beaches, lighthouses. Day trip to Wigtown book town, Kirkcudbright artists town, Castle Douglas food town. Walk the Southern Upland Way or cycle the 250 mile coast to coast route.

Liddesdale Lodge
Liddesdale Lodge sits on the Isthmus of The Rhins of Galloway and Stranraer, perfectly situated for walkers, cyclists and wild swimmers. With its close proximity to Loch Ryan and other beaches makes it ideal for all other water based activities. Stranraer Golf Club can also offer golfers discounted daily rates. The ferries at Cairnryan are 14 minutes away. The self catering Lodge enjoys rural aspects, and is within walking distance of local bars, restaurants, shops and parks.

Country Cottage/ Beach 10mins/ Portpatrick 15mins
A luxury holiday cottage consisting of a wing of Kildrochet House, an early 18th Century Grade B listed building. Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.

Seaview Cottage I. with HOT TUB & SAUNA
The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for up to 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, and paddle boards whilst experiencing breath-taking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

The Potager Tree House
Situated within the vegetable garden five feet up. Unfortunately, not suitable for disabled access. There is a tree coming up through the balcony which gets full sun in the morning for breakfast alfresco. Living area is small and quirky but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside there is a BBQ, a wood fired whiskey barrel hot tub and enough coals and logs provided for one night. The garden is secure and dog friendly. Private entry and parking.

Historic Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage. #1
Sitting on the shores of the Irish Sea, Keeper’s Cottage provides a comfortable base from which to walk, beachcomb, birdwatch and explore. Close to the villages of Portaferry, Cloughey and Strangford, the area is rich in wildlife and heritage. Or just relax by the fire and soak up the magic of this unique place. Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.
