In Gold Country

Cozy private space to relax in and take a nice break from all the outdoor fun. Complimentary Wine, Craft Beer, coffee, and other beverages. The dining table overlooks the pine forest, there’s a lounge room with a large comfy sectional couch and a vinyl record player with records to enjoy! Fire TV in the bedroom set up for streaming, and a DVD player. Satellite WiFi works well but occasionally glitches. Has been fine for guests working remote, but most are enjoying events or the outdoors:)

The Valley House, Unit 2 is a 600 sq. ft. custom remodeled apartment with one master bedroom and bath, a full kitchen, half bath, living room and deck. There is a very comfortable queen bed in the Master Bedroom, and a queen size pull-out sofa in the living room. Unit 2 allows pets. The Valley House is located in Sierraville, which is a small town nestled in the corner of the great Sierra Valley with great food, hot springs, and recreation opportunities within walking or biking distance.

Feather Cottage - Getaway on the River

A private (shared) drive leads to a modest cottage on the middle fork of the Feather River. The neighbors are in close proximity, live here year round, and are quiet. Please be respectful. The cottage is comfortable, as is the 600 square deck. Make yourself your perfect morning drink, and some waffles while you’re at it. Kick back and enjoy all the Sierra Valley has to offer. Every few days, a train horn will sound in the night so be aware. The trains come and go at a sleepy pace. Enjoy!

Relax in style in this rural remote place. A former trailer turned small home, where you can enjoy civilization and wilderness all in the same location. Hike up the mountain or relax watching tv (bring your own Netflix, YouTube, amazon accounts- apps are appearing on TV. Your fire stick will work, too). Verizon service is full bars. AT&T and T-mobile is not working there. You will have to take screenshots of checkin directions in advance and set up Wi-Fi calling when you get there.

We are a pet-friendly dwelling and welcome all pets who have good house manners. As we do live upstairs with 3 pets - there will be some footsteps from time to time. This unit stays nice and cool in the summer and there are heaters to keep warm in the winter. There is lots of space to socialize and a full kitchen to utilize. Whether traveling for work or pleasure - The Storybook Suite will provide a cozy mountain farm retreat.
