Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Porto Covo

Couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Everything was well thought through and Diogo was exceptional as a host, even assisting us when we had lost some headphones! Very grateful we found this place and perfect for exploring Comporta and surroundings

Wir waren eine Woche in Sophies Unterkunft und es war super nett und entspannend! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Was man wissen sollte, die Wohnung liegt ein paar Meter oberhalb der Straße, man sollte also fit genug für den Weg sein. Wir haben es mit Koffern problemlos geschafft. Das Bad ist sehr klein, aber alles machbar. Die Küche war wirklich super ausgestattet. Restaurants und Lebensmittel sind fußläufig erreichbar, Sophie stand uns immer als Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung!

Beautiful Airbnb right in the middle of Lagos, but far enough off of the main drag so it’s nice and quiet at night. Easy parking nearby and just steps from the beaches and restaurants. Maggie was communicative and helpful, and check in was very simple. Wonderful experience.

We had an amazing stay at Hugo’s place - definitely one of the best spots in Arrifana! The location is unbeatable.. right on the beach with stunning ocean views and the peaceful sound of waves all day long. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The apartment was super clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Simple but cozy, with all the essentials. Hugo was an exceptional host- very friendly, responsive, and always available if we needed anything. Great communication throughout our stay. The area is perfect for surfing with plenty of rental shops nearby, plus great restaurants within walking distance. Aljezur is only about 15 minutes away if you need supermarkets or extra supplies. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

We spent a few days at Alexandra’s place and it was exactly as described if not even more. Extremely well equipped house in a stunning location. We spent days swimming in the ocean, nights admiring the night sky which is stunning in Porto Covo. The house itself is super cool yet very practical. We really loved our stay!

Fomos em família, com uma criança e uma bebé de meses incluídas e foi o local ideal para passar uma semana de férias. Espaço muito cuidado e organizado, piscina excelente e quarto com todas as comodidades necessárias. A nossa filha mais velha adorou a Maria, as suas histórias, brinquedos e animais. Foi uma anfitriã muito acolhedora e adorável! Gostámos muito dos passeios matinais, pelos campos, de bicicleta, assim como da paz e silêncio de todo o espaço abrangente. A nossa filha mais velha já nos pediu para voltar e com certeza que será um bom reencontro. Adorámos! Obrigado por tudo e um beijinho especial da Madalena.

In het prachtige huisje zijn we helemaal tot rust gekomen. Alle nodige faciliteiten aanwezig en in een prachtig stukje rustige natuur. Een klein stukje rijden van het strand. Het contact met Femke en Andries verliep soepel en was erg fijn. Al met al, een hele fijne plek!

Nos encantó el alojamiento de Ricardo, es tal cual las imágenes, estaba impecable y muy acogedor, con todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable, aire acondicionado, utensilios de cocina, champú, etc. Buena ubicación, en un complejo tranquilo pero muy cerca del centro en coche y con fácil aparcamiento. Ricardo en todo momento fue muy comunicativo y atento.

An absolutely beautiful place to say, super clean, with comfortable bed , great swimming pool and a ton of little add ons like beach umbrellas were available etc . Both Oliver and Nina were so friendly and accommodating. It’s a truly peaceful place to stay in that gives you very relaxing atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back next year. Thank you to you both for having us.

Alles war wie beschrieben.Kommunikation mit Vera klappte hervorragend. Wir haben zweimal Hilfe gebraucht, die auch sofort da war. Wir haben uns sehr wohl in dieser Wohnung gefühlt und konnten uns super erholen.

Peggy was extremely kind and responded quickly to our messages. She met us for check-in and explained everything!! The apartment is on the top floor and a 10 min walk to most things. The porch doesn’t have an ocean view, it is a view of the city which is still very pretty! The apartment was very very clean! I would definitely stay here again!! Parking was easy also. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

Such a wonderful apartment and a place to call home for a week. Filipe was absolutely brilliant with all his recommendations and was so welcoming and lovely. The apartment had everything in we needed, was peaceful and so comfortable. A real treat to be staying in the old part of the town and to wander around the little lanes up the hill / past the castle ruins. We had two swallows that would regularly sit on our balcony railings chatting away and we became firm friends with Baba the cat, who spent most of her time in the garden / courtyard area (which is gorgeous). It's always a bonus to be able to eat outside in lovely weather and ponder life looking at the views and terracotta roofs. It took us a moment to realise that access to the garden was out the front door and down the side of the house, but once we'd worked that out, all was well :) What a joy to pick fresh lemons too! Thank you, Filipe for everything. You are such a kind and peaceful soul. So grateful to have met you!

Die Unterkunft von Marco war richtig super. 9/10 Punkten - warum: Ich dachte laut den Fotos, dass es das Nachbarhaus ist mit Pool. Wir waren im ersten Stock und eigentlich bevorzuge ich mit meinem 5 jährigen Sohn eine Unterkunft im Erdgeschoss, dass war leider nicht ganz klar ersichtlich. Top war: nicht mal 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, tolle Restaurants am Strand, teurer Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist super sauber und die Küche hat für Selbstversorger alles was man unbedingt braucht aber auch nicht mehr, kein Nudelsieb und auch keine Zitronenpresse, zB. Geschirr auch minimal von der Stückanzahl (6 Gläser). Marco und seine Mama sind super nett und hilfreich beim Check in, weiters haben wir sie nicht gebraucht, da es nicht unser erster Portugal Urlaub war. Preis-Leistung mit Pool top - kann man nichts ausschließen. Portimão super Lage mit Auto in 50 Minuten in Faro Flughafen und in 30 Minuten in Lagos. Liebe Grüße, Jessica & Family.

The property (we were there 18 nights) is actually located in Luz, not in Lagos, which is 3-4 miles away. That worked out well for us. Luz offers newer and larger accommodations for more reasonable prices than Lagos. We had a beautiful two bedroom penthouse with floor to ceiling windows offering great views of the Atlantic. The beach is a short walk. At night, it is quiet. A market is close by. There are a couple of good restaurants close by. The beach was nice and was actually more convenient than getting to the beach in Lagos. It was no problem getting to Lagos if you want to dine out. We had a car (10-15 minute drive) but taxis, Uber and public transportation is also available. We never met Ben, but he was very prompt in answering our every question. The apartment was clean, up to date and comfortable. We would stay there again.

Ana’s place felt like a home away from home, we absolutely fell in love with it! The view from the balcony is just unbeatable, even on a cloudy day we enjoyed spending the day there. You have all the amenities you could need for a few days, and the apartment was just spotless! Communication was easy both with Ana and Joao, they were really helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend the place, and would definitely book again!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen alles gut erklärt. Es ist wirklich alles, wie in der Beschreibung, reichlich vorhanden. Geschirr, Töpfe, Bestecke. Geschirrspülmittel, Spültabs, Waschmittel für Waschmaschine, Spüllappen, Geschirrhandtücher....... Auch in jedem Bad ausreichend Duschgel und Shampoo ! Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Fabulous Penthouse apartment, so very close to the beach and restaurants. Perfect location. Elisa, our host was super attentive, providing all the information we needed to ensure that our short break was a peaceful and relaxing experience. We had an early flight into Faro so Elisa arranged our transport ( Carlos was brilliant) and let us drop our bags off so we could get some lunch without the bother of dragging cases around. Elisa then messaged us at 1pm saying we could get in early as the penthouse was ready. During our stay Elisa made light touches to check that everything was ok which was most welcomed. A perfect host. Highly recommended.

Anabela’s beach apartment is a real gem in a gem of a town. The view from the window of the apartment is gorgeous with waves crashing below. You can sit at the table watching the ocean. The apartment is also very well equipped and comfortable and is spotlessly clean. Anabela is a wonderful host. She is very friendly and accommodating – in short, she is a lovely person. I highly recommend her apartment and will definitely plan to return if we visit Portugal again.

if I could give Anita 10 stars I would. Met by the host, in this case Antonio, and shown everything about the apartment, ideas for activities AND given an incredible welcome package that allowed us 2 tired travellers to just relax on the balcony with nibbles etc. and a gorgeous view. Among other things, Beautiful, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and living room (love that "cuddle" chair). I could go on and on. You won't regret staying here. We recommend 100%!
