Cottage vacation rentals in Port Rowan

Our stay at Sweet dreams was so relaxing. We were a short enough distance away from all the things we wanted to do in the area.. and far enough away to feel tranquil.. House has so many perks...updated appliances..hot tub ..tv... all the things you need in the kitchen and bathroom... yet not cluttered. Instructions upon check in and out were super simple... Carrie was a joy to deal with We very much enjoyed how close we were to the beach and light house.. gave me the pei vibes ... Thank you Carrie ... many memories have been made !

My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at John and Darlene’s place. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures—beautiful and well-maintained. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind, and the lakefront location is simply unbeatable.

I highly recommend this particular home if you are needing beauty and peace. Everything is exactly as described and the hosts are incredibly proactive and kind. The location is serene and the views are incredible.

My wife and I came to this lakeside cottage right after our marriage for our honeymoon and we were absolutely blown away! From the moment we stepped inside we could see how Nickesha went out of her way in decorating her beautiful cottage to welcome and congratulate us in our marriage. My wife and I would never have expected a host to go so far in making this trip feel so special for us. The house was stunning, clean, well organized and smelled great with a beautiful view of the lake straight from the master bedroom! The view of the lake and watching the stars at night from straight from the hot tub was the highlight for us and made this such a magical honeymoon that we will always remember. We felt right at home here and it was hard packing up to leave at the end of our trip after making such beautiful memories. Thank you Nickesha, it would be a privilege to be able to come here again in the future!

5 star stay. This was the nicest Airbnb I have stayed at. Walking in to the view of the water was such a perfect entry. The home was spacious and cozy. The kitchen was fully loaded with cooking utensils. We thoroughly enjoyed the bbq, sitting out on the muskoka chairs taking in the view and evenings in the hot tub. The yard was very private and serene. There was a private beach area which was such a plus. I can’t wait to return.

PERFECT STAY EVEN HAD UMBRELLAS WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED I TOOK ALL MY CONDIMENTS BUT THEY HAD SOAP DISHWASHING LIQUID SALR ANS PEPPER THEY EVEN HAD SUGAR AND COFFEE BUT i brought my own Highly recommend this locely home

Perfect place, Christian responded fast, and the place has a lot of things to do apart from the location itself. All rooms and stuffs were clean. If I have a chance to visit Port Rowan again, I’ll be willing to book this again.

Angie's place was a last minute booking after a host on another site cancelled our original booking the morning of our check-in and we were very grateful to find Angie's place. Angie was accommodating and responsive, the property was clean, instructions for every aspect of the property were clear and available in a binder for reference when we got there, and overall we had a great time. Angie also proactively reached out to offer a later check-out time which we very much appreciated as it gave us more time to enjoy the area and have a calmer check-out. The cost for Angie's place was higher than our original booking but that was an understood consequence of booking last minute. We would very much recommend Angie's place and hope to stay there again in the future!

We had a great time in Port Stanley. This is the second time I've stayed at this Air BNB and I love it. Perfect spot!

the place was really nice and clean and it was right beside the lake. beautiful and peaceful area for a relaxing weekend. Leigh and his wife were also very nice and responsible and they tried their best to make us feel comfortable at their place.

Sandbox 2.0 looks like a cute little cottage from the street but inside it has a spacious living room/lounge area, large kitchen area with a dining table for 6, and everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals for everyone. A door at the back leads from the kitchen to a beautiful back deck with patio furniture and a BBQ, over looking a back yard equipped with bird feeders, and a fire pit surrounded by deck chairs. We enjoyed watching birds at the feeder and in the surrounding trees in the morning sun on the back deck and from the kitchen window. There's a queen bed in a beautiful newly-added master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and a double bed in each of two smaller bedrooms adjacent to the living room/lounge area. Lots to do at the beach, Long Point Bird Observatory, and in the nearby conservation areas, and trails. In early May, it was relatively quiet with lots of room in parking areas. Watching the migrating birds was made easier with trees just starting to leaf out.

Jan’s place is by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Such a cozy home with everything we could ever need and beautiful lake views. Jan made it so easy for us to just roll in and immediately relax. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

We love staying here! Tracey is absolutely amazingly, the place is beautiful, the lake is beautiful (and a bit cold in May, although we did swim a little - only try if youre brave, haha). The window with the view is enough. Such a sweet getaway!

Amazing place! Deon was very responsive and informative, very friendly as well. The place was incredible and super clean. We honestly had a perfect getaway and experience. We will be going back to this spot in the future and recommending it to our friends and family. Thanks again Deon!

We stayed at Marnie and Mike's to celebrate my mom's 94th birthday. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. Only drawback was that it was a little difficult for my mom to get around in the bedroom and bathroom as she has a walker. Thanks for being great hosts.

Beth's place is exactly like the description and photos. Our family had a great stay (grandparents, infant and small dog). Long Point Park was within walking distance. Even though you're surrounded by other cottages - it is very private - you don't notice the neighbours. It gets VERY quiet at night so the campfire is so peaceful. We made our own meals so the kitchen/BBQ grill/firepit are very accommodating for our group. All cookware and utensiIs available. I really liked the screened in gazebo since we could eat outside and avoid the bugs (and rain!). Beth is very responsive if you have any questions or concerns. 5/5 great place and I would definitely stay here again :)

Amazing place! Very clean and it was nice to have the A/C. Beautiful view and my kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing. It was a short drive to port Dover beach we went swimming and got ice cream on the boardwalk. This was the best cottage experience.

Swanny Lakehouse was the perfect getaway.❤️ The pictures do not do justice for the beauty…inside and out. We booked the location for a peaceful getaway and we experienced one of our favorite vacays so far! Faye’s place is perfect for a large family or multiple friends to stay at. Right at the beach entrance, and walking distance to local amenities. The back deck and living room are huge! We were able to fit a large truck and a sedan in the driveway. Faye immediately answered any questions we had, and she had a booklet of any information about the house and town right as we walked in. Would stay here again!

Bill’s place was exactly as described. Had a wonderful fire in the fire pit one afternoon and evening. Lots of utensils and pots and pans for cooking. Was there for a wedding in nearby Simcoe and some of the group came to spend time to relax with us at Bill’s place. Thanks so much for the use of their cottage. Mike

We absolutely loved our time at Anu’s lakeside cottage. We felt right at home. The lake was gorgeous and sounded like the ocean. The waves never stopped and the wind kept the bugs away. We enjoyed our evenings around the fire and bbq’d every night. The stars didn’t disappoint, there was very little light pollution! Oh and the sunsets were amazing. The cottage was homey, yet spacious and very comfortable. We slept so well, and it was great having a spare room for the two pack’n plays for our twins. It was our first getaway as a family of four and we hope to book there again next year!

It was an excellent stay, we were able to rest well and enjoy the place and the view of the lake. It's not sumptuous at all but we had a great time, highly recommended.
