Vacation rentals with beach access in Port-des-Barques

We spent a very enjoyable week in Valerie's apartment. She and her husband welcomed us at the door even though our flight was delayed. A gift of brioche , orange juice and a locally produced aperitif was a nice touch. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one could possibly need. it was really quiet in spite of being on the Quai which is a hive of activity. She replied to any communication within minutes. Highly recommended.

Perfectly located appartment, and the garage is a huge advantage. Very nice place to stay at, close to everything, and easy to get in/out. I would not recommended it if you have small kids. There is some safety issues like the stairs, windows, plugs, and furniture that can fall.

Vue imprenable sur la mer et sur un vieil arbre magnifique au lever et au coucher du soleil. Logement très propre et fonctionnel. Arrivée et départ facile grâce à la boite à clé et les échanges avec Clémence. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

L'appartement est très bien situé, au pied de la tour de la lanterne, à deux pas du vieux port et à 5 minutes de la plage de la concurrence. Le lieux est idéal pour rayonner à pied, à vélo (station libre service toute proche) et pour prendre les bateaux bus vers l'aquarium ou le port des minimes. Il faut une vingtaine de minutes pour aller à pied à la gare.

We had a wonderful time staying in Clotildes apartment. It felt very homely and cozy. It was lovely to have the market right outside for picking up fresh bread every morning and amazing vegetables and fish. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and we hope to be able to return one day.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans le logement de Stéphane. La maison est propre et agréable. Il y a a disposition tout l'équipement nécessaire pour les locataires. Nous avons apprécié le matériel pour les bébés. Malgré une incompréhension de ma part, Elsa et Stéphane ont été très arrangeant et ont trouvé une solution très rapidement. Nous les remercions chaleureusement ! La maison est bien situé, nous avons apprécié Boyarville et la proximité des activités pour les enfants.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Lovely little home , with all mode cons . Only downside to the stay was not allowed to take the dog on any of the beaches in the area.

Logement sympa a deux pas a pied d'un mini golf et d'une des plages de Fouras. Pour accéder au centre ville et a la Grande plage faisable à pied mais aussi en voiture place disponible. Parfait pour un couple avec un enfant Le propriétaire est très réactif et nous a proposé des choses qui se passait a Fouras

Isabelle a été extrêmement accueillante, disponible et arrangeante sur notre arrivée. Le logement est idéalement situé dans un cadre paisible et à la fois proche des commodités. Tout était parfaitement propre et rangé. Il y avait même de quoi faire un copieux petit déjeuner, une charmante attention. Isabelle a pris le temps de nous expliquer les balades, les restaurants, les incontournables de cette jolie île. Nous recommandons vivement cette hôte si gentille. Nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir

L'ile de ré est magnifique les gens sont Sympa et le logement de Corinne est EXELLENT " la déco l'équipement l'emplacement tout est parfait" Un grand MERCI à Corinne. Fabienne et Mario

Un des rares lieux de Fouras où l'on peut venir avec ses animaux de compagnies ( nous en avions deux). Merci de nous avoir accueillis avec nos deux petits enfants et nos deux chiens. Disponibilité lors de notre arrivée très appréciable ( renseignement, horaire...) Emplacement très bon entre plage et centre ville. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Agréable logement vue sur lac et mer vraiment paisible et calme. Place de parking, logement propre et tout le nécessaire minimum. La plage accessible à pieds en moins de 15min. Et Pauline très réactive par message. Je recommande. Merci 😊

Beautiful apartment, fabulous views (even from the shower!), and delightful little private beach - where our kids enjoyed playing while we played boules on the lawn above. Lovely walk into the old port, either along the beach path, or inland along the beautiful grassy avenue. Great restaurants in the town, although we enjoyed most meals at home so we could make the most of the fantastic views. A wonderful stay!

Amazing apartment on the port front in La Rochelle, with great views and in the centre of this very walkable town. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, including for travelling with a baby. Highly recommended!

Sandrine, merci beaucoup !! Le logement est niquel, balcon donnant sur la mer. Une place de parking attitrée puis après tout se fait à pied. Je recommande vivement si vous souhaitez passer une soirée déconnecté face a la mer !!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’appartement est très agréable et tout le confort est à disposition. Il y avait aussi tout le nécessaire pour accueillir notre fille de 2,5 ans. L’emplacement est central, proche de tout. Nous recommandons vivement !
