Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Port Aransas

Beautiful, new, well decorated, and clean home! Everything is provided except beach towels. The home is within walking distance of the grocery store and about a 15 min walk to the beach. It was our first time to Port A, and we loved the warm, soft waves with close parking. Unfortunately, a few of the kids got stung by jellyfish, which is the only thing negative about any of these TX beaches. But we didn't have any problems with tar balls this summer as we did last summer at South Padre. We paid an extra $50 per day to heat the jacuzzi size pool (think square instead of rectangle bc one end is very shallow that's not swimmable but more for sitting) in the backyard, and it was very nice warm water after our beach outings. Tina was very easy to communicate with, quick to respond. She left us a nice welcome gift basket of treats (chocolate, gummy bears, pack of mini cookies, trail mix, water, wine bottle), which was a nice surprise. You couldn't get a better host!

This house is located in a great spot. With adult beverages across the street and coffee around the corner. What else could you ask for? Oh a beach? It’s just a few blocks away. Rent a golf cart and go have fun.

The owners were very helpful and responsive. We even forgot to reach out and request to have the pool heated and they responded within minutes and turned it on remotely for us so we could enjoy it over the long weekend. Highly recommend them as hosts.

Incredibly close walk to the beach - very easy to go to and from all day long, without hassle. Beautiful and spacious inside, nicely decorated and functional for cooking, eating on the patio or just chilling on the huge couch watching TV. Felt safe and at ease the whole time, and the responsive host was helpful in making our stay great.

This was our 2nd stay at this beautiful home & this visit was just as great as the first! Clean & close to the beach. Very peaceful & comfortable home. Pool was perfect & clean. Lots of seating both inside & outside areas. Great rental for families! Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay in Port Aransas! Like many of the other reviews say, the pics don’t do this place justice. It’s so comfy — there were 5 of us (max allowed) but honestly we had plenty of space. The deck and private pool were tremendous and it’s an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. If you’re looking to stay in the heart of Port A, this is the place!

The studio apartment was beautifully updated and the turtle beach theme was very stylish. The standard size appliances were an added bonus for longer stays. Everything we needed was available in the studio. Right down to the toiletries, beach necessities, chargers and coffee. The indoor pool was very refreshing and the outdoor pool had a beautiful view of the water. We enjoyed the beach at the Seawall which is a seven minute drive. Now grab your swimsuit, it’s time to relax and enjoy the island vibe!

It was a great stay, super clean and roomy place. It seems to be recently upgraded. Great host, and very responsive. Definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Our stay at May’s place was very pleasant. May is very accommodating and made this trip so welcoming and easy. She was so kind to check in on us to see if we needed anything. The condo was very comfortable and felt like home. Very clean!! The pool was very clean and we met a lot of friendly guests. We would recommend May’s place to anyone. We will definitely go back.

This was the perfect location by restaurants, the beach and bars. It was private by the pool area and quiet. The room was very clean, spacious and looked like the photos. The room has A/C unit and a dehumidifier which is great for by the beach. Truly was cozy, safe and a great stay for spring break!

Being so close to the water made it incredibly easy to enjoy early morning and late afternoon trips—it was peaceful, refreshing, and exactly what we needed to disconnect for a bit. The location was ideal as well. Having shops, restaurants, and everything else so close by made the trip convenient. Thank you again for your kind hospitality. This is our second year here. Over the years we have stayed at several other condos at Port A, but once we found this place we will NEVER go anywhere else. Where to start...definitely a 5-star location. The Mayan Princess is a fantastic place to stay, relax, enjoy. Their three pools are the best on the beach, and we have stayed at several other places over the years. It is a smaller condo building which means small crowds, laid back atmosphere, just relaxing. The beach is very close and very clean. So....the condo itself...very nice and high end. This is not your usual place to stay. Jana provides EVERYTHING. The place is upscale and clean (my wife's reqirements). The upstairs bedrooms are spacious and include a private balcony off the master bedroom (big room with a couch and still room to spare....so a balcony on both floors!!! The master bathroom/bathroom is HUGE, upscale, clean, roomy. Every detail has beed taken care of. Jana is a SUPERHOST and this is a SUPER CONDO!!!

Wonderful condo! Great location and the condo had everything we needed. It was large enough for us all to spread out and have our own space. The beds are super comfy and the master shower is amazing. We loved being right next to the walkway to the beach and right across from the pool. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in.

Loved our (3) nights in this condo #240. The location was nice and quiet across from pool. First thing you see when you walk in is the ocean view which led us straight to the balcony. That was our favorite spot for morning coffee, and warm evenings didn’t feel hot because of the constant ocean breeze. Inside, it felt like a cozy home. Comfortable furniture and beds. Washer/dryer was an added bonus. Loved the spa-like shower in the main bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the keurig! Beautiful beach decor in every room of this condo. Everyday I saw something different on the wall or on a shelf that made me smile. Five minute walking distance to the beach or you can drive to it also. We hope to go back again in the future.

Super homey and cute as well as clean ! Everything we needed was there and we had a great time staying here, it is very close to the beach and town. I honestly loved this place a lot especially for a stay with friends !!

Amber’s Place Beachfront Condo was great. A beautiful location, the Condo was very well kept and spotless. The beds were all comfortable. Having a nice view to wake up to every morning was wonderful. The host Lori was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. The resort itself is currently undergoing some renovations but had no impact on our stay and everything including both pools were still accessible. The location cannot be beat being right on North Beach in Corpus the USS Lexington and Texas State Aquarium were less than a mile and tons of lil shops and beach side restaurants and bars in walking distance. Would definitely stay again in the future.

We visited for a weekend birthday beach get away. The visit was very nice. The community was small which was nice because it was quiet. The bed was comfortable to sleep in at night after a long day out and about. Very close to beach access which is what we wanted. Would stay again!

I have been coming to North Padre for about 10 years but never stayed on the island before. This condo is absolutely perfect, great location, great host, everything i needed for a fantastic visit. You will love staying here, what are you waiting for?
