Great location for a family get away, quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants and the lake.

This place is awesome. Easy walk to a private beach with huge pier on the lake. Tahoe House is an amazing cafe, and a 3 minute walk. The house was clean, back yard was so awesome for the dogs, and the hot tub well kept. Kitchen has everything you need, including a nice espresso machine for homemade lattes to enjoy on the deck. Cant recommend this place enough.

Great location/setting on the water. Nice grassy area w/seating above the beach. Its an easy property to immediately feel comfortable in: Kitchen was straight forward to work in and the dinning and living rooms were spacious & relaxed w/nice views. Heater worked well and quietly. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. 5 minutes to Tahoe City (south) and 5 minutes to Cornelian Bay - lots of beaches and parks near by.

This was a great place. I stayed here for 4 nights and was just at peace with the endless view of pine trees in the backyard and lake view from the road ahead by the front of the house. Close to lake, ski/board and groceries and restaurents. 10/10 recommend to anyone. Our dog loved it too!

Very cozy place to stay. Fireplace is a plus on the cold weather. The hotel is peaceful and the pier is a great place to see the sunset. There’s a lot of restaurants close by. The room is super clean, linens are good quality and it has a full kitchen. Mark left everything explained before the check in. Would definitely recommend!

Came for a small and laid back Bachelorette with 6 girls, space was great, private beach was AWESOME, beautiful views and setting, easy to park and check in and out, walkable to grocery and restaurants. Would definitely come back again this summer or ski season. Host responded to all messages within minutes, accommodated our requests including when unexpected things popped up at the last minute. Do bring your own basic ingredients and kitchen stuff like spices oil and plastic bags and saram wrap. But we otherwise were able to cook our own meals fine. Very satisfied and plan to return.

This was our favorite stay on our vacation. Wished we stayed longer. We felt like home and had everything we needed. And the location was perfect as well.

Great place for skiing at Palisades

Loved the area - it’s right off of Lake Tahoe and during the wintertime, the lake was amazing during sunset. Location is decently close to a couple of big resorts and the overall space was pretty roomy. Place is two floors and could probably fit two couples.

The home was amazing. The decor was simple. The beds were cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee filters which I forgot to bring. Everything was nice, clean and organized. There was a grocery store right across the street which was the ultimate convenience for me. My favorite was being right by the waterfront.

I needed a place to pause and just be soaked in the nature. This place was just the place I needed. They have their own gate so very peaceful and safe, location-wise only 5min drive away from the restaurants/shops which was perfect, and the place was better than the photos! One downside was the dryers that didn’t function properly due to the not cleaned filters. But other than that it was an incredible stay, I would definitely come again! If you’re reading this, stop scrolling and book this place if it’s available!

The cabin was very nice. It was on the water and was a great location. I did not like having to sign a separate contract even though I booked through Airbnb also day of check-in I was requested a picture of my ID and a selfie which I had never done before. I felt like it was too much after already paying, signing their separate contract, and agreeing to the there terms through Airbnb.

This home made us believe in Airbnb again. Absolutely perfect in every way. Haven has thought of everything and the well-appointed unit made for a seamless and lovely vacation. From shower steamers and heated floors in the bathroom to pack and play and baby gates for our toddler and books, games and wine for this adults, nothing was spared in curating this gem. Even the towels in the bathroom are lush and the bedding superior. For our family, being able to walk steps away to the beach as well as amazing restaurants, stores and coffee shop was priceless and made for an immeasurably better experience than if we'd stayed further inland. I was immensely grateful for Haven's flexibility with our changing schedule both at check-in and check-out. She was incredibly gracious and made us feel welcomed and supported. This is a fabulous property with a phenomenal host.

We had a wonderful time visiting Tahoe and staying at Meghan's family home. We were particularly happy with the kid's room and amenities, which kept both our 11 year old and toddler very happy, which in turn gave us lots of much-appreciated quiet and peaceful downtime. Of course, visiting Tahoe meant plenty of outdoor activities, including beach, hiking, and a little shopping. This location has access to a pier, so an old friend of mine picked us up on his boat from there and took us to lunch at Garwoods across the lake. Huge thanks to Meghan and her family for allowing us the use of her family home to make our vacation that much more special. We'll certainly be back!

Walking to lake front but not sandy beaches (those are just a short drive). Clean and quiet place. They added additional towels since we were 4 guests. Note, the bed in the other room is a double bed (as described in the listing), which is a full size bed smaller than queen. Worked for us, but something to keep in mind. It creaks just a bit when you get in / get up. Kitchen was well stocked with basics -- oil, salt, spices, utensils etc. Bedding was ample and comfortable. We went when it was cool, the heater worked well. Some things that could improve: we found soap/shampoo in the closet, but may be provide conditioner and lotion as well, this seems to be a standard in airbnbs. I generally carry some when traveling so this wasn't an issue for us.

We had the best stay! The location and the amenities of this home were perfect for our group. We were able to walk to the beach, Heavenly Village, casinos, etc. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed as well. Esther & Norm were GREAT hosts. Easy to work with, informative, responsive, fair, and friendly. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to stay in South Lake Tahoe. I will be back!

We had a good stay. Enjoyed the hot tub and the great lake views, and cooked some steaks on some pretty nice grills. We had a weird noise complaint lodged against us that occurred when we were asleep, but communication with william went well on this. I would stay here again.

We visited Jennifer’s place as a family and it was an amazing place to bond. We were waking up to absolutely stunning views of the lake and the mountains. The beach was clean which my family enjoyed a lot. The water was quite cold (it’s January after all) so no bathing in the lake for us. But the hot tub in the master bath was a close second giving incredible views of the lake while sitting in warm water. The pantry was fully loaded - all we had to do was walk across the street to get food and drinks from Safeway and we were all set. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and a better host! Will definitely come visit again.

Nice place with stunning lake view. Kids enjoyed the private beach a lot. The gated community is very quiet and peaceful. We love having dinner with the breathtaking view outside. All three rooms are clean suites with its own bathroom, which is very convenient. It’s definitely a great place that we will come back next time!
