Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Ponta do Sol

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft! Die Lage ist ideal – etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, aber mit einem schönen (aber sehr steilen) 30-minütigen Spaziergang gut erreichbar. In direkter Umgebung gibt es einen gut sortierten Supermarkt und einen super Obst- und Gemüseladen, in dem man zu einheimischen Preisen einkauft – ganz im Gegensatz zu den überteuerten Preisen in der Markthalle von Funchal. Zudem befindet sich eine der besten Bäckereien der Stadt in der Nähe – ein echtes Highlight! Die Unterkunft selbst ist top ausgestattet, sauber und bietet mit ihrer Terrasse einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Hafen und Teile der Stadt. Den ganzen Tag über genießt man Sonne, inklusive traumhafter Abendsonne. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen – wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön an einer sehr ruhigen Lage mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Es war alles sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet damit man sich ab dem ersten Moment nur wohlfühlen kann. Es hatte alles was man braucht, auch super fanden wir die vielen Küchenuntensilien und der Grill, den wir jeden Tag benutzten. Die Terrasse mit Whirpool,Lounge,Liegen und Tisch waren das Highlight. Wir verbrachten viel Zeit in der Unterkunft, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Der Strand Calheta ist 5min mitem Auto einfach zu erreichen und sehr empfehlenswert. Auch fanden wir den Privatparkplatz super. Bruno und Maria sind sehr zuvorkommend und fragten auch nach wie es uns geht und ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, sehr ruhig, viel privatsphäre und doch gelangen wir mitem Auto überall hin. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Bruno und Maria. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Unser Aufenthalt in Madeira war nicht nur schön, sondern dank dieser Unterkunft wirklich entspannt und besonders unkompliziert. Was uns besonders beeindruckt hat, war die herausragende Flexibilität: Wünsche wurden sofort berücksichtigt, individuelle Anliegen immer freundlich und lösungsorientiert umgesetzt. Man merkt einfach, dass hier mit Herz und echter Gastfreundschaft gearbeitet wird. Die Kommunikation war jederzeit schnell, persönlich und hilfsbereit – das schafft Vertrauen und ein rundum gutes Gefühl. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Erfahrung – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Wir haben uns bei Manny wirklich super wohlgefühlt! Die Wohnung war sauber, ordentlich und sehr zentral gelegen – ideal, um Funchal zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit Manny war hervorragend, er war immer erreichbar, hat regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir etwas brauchen. Wirklich top – so wünscht man sich einen Gastgeber! Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall gerne wieder hier wohnen. Lovely villa with stunning views. The hosts are great and everything is as described. Nice bonus are the cats that live in the yard. Would definitely book this place again next time we're in Madeira.

à notre arrivée nous avons été très bien accueilli par Ana. Elle nous a tout expliqué et nous avons même pu arriver un peu en avance dans l'appartement. Elle nous a donné des conseils de visite, de restaurant, et aussi elle nous a indiqué le supermarché le plus proche. Ana a été au top !!! L'appartement est parfait, il y a tout ce qu'il faut même encore plus que ce qu'on avait imaginé. Merci pour tout! Nous avons pu profiter à fond de cette île magnifique . Et Gabriel a passer quasiment toute ses soirées dans la piscine 😄 merci encore de notre part à tous les 3

Gorete and her daughter Joana made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It's a beautiful apartment with everything we needed, and a fantastic view towards the sunset from the balcony. We're very keen hikers and were pleased to find two beautiful levada walks very close by.

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

A very peaceful and private place to stay in Sao Vicente. Being spacious and having great views makes it a perfect place to rest between activities. Beds are comfortable and closets are fantastic. There was port, fruit, and cake waiting for us, which was a welcoming touch. It is about a 35 min drive to Funchal and closer to an hour to get to and from the airport. Less than hr to elsewhere on the island. Notes: 1) Access: To get to the restaurants and shops is a steep climb with stairs or road, so be prepared to drive down or get some exercise :) 2) Parking and layout: The gated 2-car port is on the roof of the home and is at the end of the street where there is viewpoint parking. It may be a little tight getting in and out if there are cars. You go down 1 floor to get to the bedrooms and one more floor to get to the living room/kitchen and pool. 3) Shopping: There is a grocery with long hours down at the shoreline (10 min walk). The gift shop in the same strip is very goo

המארחים היו ממש חמודים, היה מענה מהיר מצידם והם חיכו לנו בכניסה. בסיום האירוח אפילו הביאו לנו מתנה קטנה למזכרת מהאי. דירה מעולה, הייתה לנו חנייה פרטית, המארחים כיבדו ממש את הפרטיות שלנו. ללא ספק נשוב לשם בעתיד.

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – wir hätten uns keinen besseren Gastgeber wünschen können! Er war super freundlich, jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns mit vielen tollen Tipps versorgt. Die Kommunikation war reibungslos und jeder unserer Wünsche wurde erfüllt. Die Unterkunft selbst war ein Traum: sehr geräumig, wunderschön eingerichtet, mit einem tollen Ausblick und einem herrlichen Pool. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder buchen!

Richard hat uns herzlich empfangen und die Unterkunft gezeigt, sowie Tipps für Ausflüge geben. Es hatte einen Ordner mit weiteren Infos und Tipps in der Unterkunft. Er war immer gut erreichbar und hat sofort geantwortet. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenhalt. Das Haus sieht aus wie auf den Bildern und alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt.

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

We absolutely loved our stay. The seaside view is incredible and relaxing. We loved the access to grocery and restaurants right nearby and it was nice to be close but not right in Funchal with the crowds. Mariana was the best - met us for check in to show us around and sent lovely recommendations for our stay. We loved cooking at the apartment and listening to the sound of the waves. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret booking this lovely condo!

We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

Goed gelegen accomodatie. Kleine supermarkt en bakkerij heel dichtbij. Evenals restaurants waar je lekker kon eten. Alles aanwezig voor een zorgeloze vakantie. luchthaven en Funchal op minder dan 15min rijden.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment! Everything exceeded our expectations — the place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally well-equipped. There were so many thoughtful touches: not only the essentials, but also extras like a high-quality blender, a coffee machine, and a generous supply of towels and toiletries. It really felt like a home away from home. The views from the apartment were stunning, and getting there was easy thanks to the convenient location and good access by car. One of the biggest advantages was the free underground parking spot, which was reserved just for us — a huge plus, especially in a busy area. Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. We would definitely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and worry-free stay!

Nous avons séjourné une semaine à 4 dans un appartement très agréable. Nous avons apprécié les 2 chambres et les 2 salles de bain. Idéal pour 2 couples. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement propre et décoré avec goût. Un petit plus pour la place de parking au garage. Connie était là à notre arrivée et nous la remercions pour sa gentillesse. Verblijf van 12 dagen. Prachtig appartement met terras op de 6e verdieping, uitzicht op zee. Lift aanwezig. De inrichting van het appartement is zeer smaakvol! Slechts 15 minuten lopen naar het oude centrum en de boulevard. Host Carlos is zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en reageert snel. Goede supermarkt met vriendelijke mensen om de hoek, evenals 'snackbar' voor een koffie, drankje met wat lekkers. Jardim Santa Luzia op 5 minuten lopen. Mooi park met prachtige bomen en een 'snackbar'. Je voelt je hier meteen thuis en bij terugkeer naar Madeira zullen we dan ook zeker weer voor dit appartement van Carlos kiezen. Een echte aanrader!
