We had a great stay at this place! The location is ideal – just outside the city center, but easily accessible with a nice (but very steep) 30 minute walk. In the immediate vicinity there is a well-stocked supermarket and a great fruit and vegetable shop where you can shop at local prices – quite unlike the overpriced prices in the market hall of Funchal. There is also one of the best bakeries in the city nearby – a real highlight! The property itself is top equipped, clean and offers stunning views over the harbor and parts of the city with its terrace. Throughout the day you can enjoy sun, including fantastic evening sun. A perfect place to relax – we'd love to come back!

Our stay in Madeira was not only beautiful, but thanks to this accommodation really relaxed and especially uncomplicated. What particularly impressed us was the outstanding flexibility: wishes were immediately taken into account, individual concerns were always implemented in a friendly and solution-oriented manner. You can just tell that they work with heart and real hospitality. Communication was always fast, personal and helpful – this creates trust and an all-round good feeling. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience – we would come back anytime!

It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Mannys place is a fantastic find. Manny was the best host I’ve ever come across, extremely responsive, kindly let us drop our bags before check in time as we had an early flight arrival, he even left some local delicacies for us. The place itself is in a fantastic location, right in the centre so you can walk everywhere yet it was still quiet and peaceful. If we visit Madeira again we’ll definitely return. upon arrival we were very well received by Ana. She explained everything to us and we were even able to arrive a little early at the apartment. She gave us tips for sightseeing, dining, and also told us the nearest supermarket. Ana was at her best!!! The apartment is perfect, there is everything you need even more than we imagined. Thank you for everything! We were able to fully enjoy this beautiful island. And Gabriel spent almost all his evenings in the pool 😄 thank you again from all 3 of us

We wanted for nothing at our apartment in Funchal. The space was very well stocked and very quiet when the windows were closed. The view from the second floor was exquisite at night and the location was perfect for walking to excellent pastel de nata, restaurants and attractions. We appreciated the balconies for enjoying morning coffee and always felt safe coming to and from. Highly recommend location for exploring all Funchal has to offer.

We spent a month in the apartment and felt at home right from the start. The interior is stylish and decorated with great attention to detail, and the view over Funchal is simply fantastic – especially in the mornings and evenings, a real highlight. The location is excellent – it’s easy to get everywhere, yet pleasantly quiet. The apartment is very well equipped – absolutely nothing is missing. It was also ideal for working: we worked remotely for two weeks, handling large amounts of data, and the internet was absolutely reliable and fast. Miguel is a fantastic host – warm, helpful, and always available. He proactively gave us many great tips and took care of everything with genuine attention. We can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment – and Miguel as a host. Thank you for the wonderful time, Miguel – and hopefully see you again soon!

Gorete and her daughter Joana made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It's a beautiful apartment with everything we needed, and a fantastic view towards the sunset from the balcony. We're very keen hikers and were pleased to find two beautiful levada walks very close by.

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

A very peaceful and private place to stay in Sao Vicente. Being spacious and having great views makes it a perfect place to rest between activities. Beds are comfortable and closets are fantastic. There was port, fruit, and cake waiting for us, which was a welcoming touch. It is about a 35 min drive to Funchal and closer to an hour to get to and from the airport. Less than hr to elsewhere on the island. Notes: 1) Access: To get to the restaurants and shops is a steep climb with stairs or road, so be prepared to drive down or get some exercise :) 2) Parking and layout: The gated 2-car port is on the roof of the home and is at the end of the street where there is viewpoint parking. It may be a little tight getting in and out if there are cars. You go down 1 floor to get to the bedrooms and one more floor to get to the living room/kitchen and pool. 3) Shopping: There is a grocery with long hours down at the shoreline (10 min walk). A lovely property with a beautiful view in a quiet and peaceful part of the island. Jose was very kind and super accommodating to a last minute change we required. We had a wonderful time!

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

Richard welcomed us warmly and showed us the accommodation, as well as gave tips for excursions. There was a folder with more information and tips in the accommodation. He was always easy to reach and responded immediately. We had a wonderful stay. The house looks like the pictures and everything was very clean and well maintained.

This place exceeded all expectations. The apartment was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos—if not better. The location was great, with easy access to everything I needed, but still peaceful and quiet. The host was welcoming, responsive, and made check-in super easy. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. It felt like a true home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We absolutely loved our stay. The seaside view is incredible and relaxing. We loved the access to grocery and restaurants right nearby and it was nice to be close but not right in Funchal with the crowds. Mariana was the best - met us for check in to show us around and sent lovely recommendations for our stay. We loved cooking at the apartment and listening to the sound of the waves. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret booking this lovely condo!

We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

There were so many thoughtful touches: not only the essentials, but also extras like a high-quality blender, a coffee machine, and a generous supply of towels and toiletries. It really felt like a home away from home. The views from the apartment were stunning, and getting there was easy thanks to the convenient location and good access by car. One of the biggest advantages was the free underground parking spot, which was reserved just for us — a huge plus, especially in a busy area. Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. We would definitely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and worry-free stay!

We stayed for a week with 4 in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .
