Really nice house. I could live there. Right next to river which is good for watching aurora in the winter. Sauna was also good.

If you're thinking about visiting Ivalo, this house is the best option. The location is excellent, just a very short distance from downtown for shopping. It's very quiet, the heating works great, it has a sauna that works very well, and the house has all the amenities you see in the photos. I traveled with my partner and we were both delighted. Niklas as a host was fantastic—he always responded to all our messages, was constantly attentive to our needs, and provided us with plenty of information about the city and its surroundings; he even took us on a night excursion to see the auroras! Totally recommended.

Great & dear host, very fast response time. The house is super big. Great starting point for northern lights, we also saw some directly above the house. It is best to take a car or note that not so many buses run.

It was my second time with this house and its owner. We had a great time, felt at home. I now understand why is this home guest favorite.

This place and its surroundings are simply so beautiful! As much coziness, peace and quiet as you can wish for. And still so much to do and see! We recommend a day trip to Tanamunningen / Høyholmen as well as exploration of the nature just around the cottage, snow shoes made that easy. We were a bit unlucky with the weather as can always happen but the house absolutely made up for that: great sauna, fireplace, grilling sausage outside by the fire in the snow and playing board games and simply watching the amazing landscape. We had a wonderful stay here. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever been. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to get out of the cold, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen/ living area was well done and had everything we needed. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights just walking outside. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be back!

We felt right at home! A super nice place with all necessary facilities. Deliciously extensive kitchen supplies which is nice for fanatics in the kitchen like us! The sauna, double shower and jacuzzi overlooking the slopes and a good JBL speaker are huge cherries on the cake! We greatly ENJOYED this place! Eero always responded super quickly and kindly and helped us if needed. You can also contact him for questions about things in the area. A lot is within walking distance nearby (supermarket, activities, slopes, restaurants). And even being able to see the Northern Lights at the cottage! Highly recommend!!!

The place was just perfect – very nicely furnished and with a lot of love for detail, you feel right at home. Everything was super clean and tidy. The sauna and pool were an absolute highlight. Kitchen was very well equipped! I would particularly like to highlight the communication with Kristiina: She always responded very quickly to messages and provided us with many great tips for excursions and activities in the area. The stay was pleasant all around – highly recommended! Thank you for the warm hospitality!

Great apartment, wonderful location. Everything you need within walking distance. Really cozy. The only complaint is the high cleaning fee that must be paid. Especially because you are also asked to remove the bedding. We did it, but in our opinion, the fees would already be inside, not having to do it. But all in all, we felt very comfortable. So would still come again! :)

We spent a week with our two small children and had a wonderful time. The appartment was fantastic: clean, cozy, spacious, with a very big and well equipped kitchen, a good sauna, shoe dryer, books, toys and games for the children. Short distance to supermarket and city centre. Anna-Kaisa lent us two sledges and gave us a good advice where to go sledding (Jänkävaara). Furthermore she gave us a very good and detailed instruction in advance and responded very quickly to upcoming questions during our stay. We can highly recommend this place and would love to come again.

Very nice and cosy flat in the center of Ivalo. The appartment in fully equiped and close to the shops and hikes. Perfect location in the center but quiet. A plus for the inside balcony and the sauna in the appartment. Everything was perfect !! I recommend

Great place to stay for a few nights. Beautiful surroundings, clean and has all the amenities to enjoy your stay.

Juhani is very friendly and kind. He answered all our questions about access and even bought additional equipment. Unfortunately the extreme climatic conditions (-30°) and a totally snowy access in the middle of the night forced us to walk in the powder, the cold also forced us to shorten our stay but this cottage is a haven of peace , perfectly located by the lake with electricity, the latter has all the necessary comforts. Thank you to Juhani for agreeing to shorten our stay and for all his kindness. In winter I recommend this accommodation to athletes to access it and people accustomed to living conditions in the heart of nature.

Everything was great, peaceful yet walkable distance to centre and the national park! Had all you need for a perfect vacation.
