Experience the peace and quiet of Lapland's nature and the midnight sun in a unique glass-walled experience cabin on the shore of a wilderness lake. Accommodation for 3, up to 5 beds for those sleeping in their own sleeping bags. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee presses, cutlery, etc.). There are showers in the adjacent beach sauna. Composting wood toilet. The sauna is wood-heated. If necessary, we will guide you in heating the sauna. Available in summer and early autumn.

A cozy, well-equipped and modern cottage in Laanila, about 3 km from the center of Saariselkä, completed in early 2024. The cottage is located close to skiing, cycling and outdoor trails. The spacious kitchen has a beautiful forest view. The sauna section is luxurious and modern. For example, a couple can stay comfortably in the cottage. The sofa bed in the living room can be pulled out, so the cottage can also accommodate, for example, 1-2 children. The cottage has a free parking area in the yard and a heating post for the car.

You can go skiing and snowshoeing directly from the yard. In the summer, you can fish, row, or paddleboard on the lake or take a dip from your own dock. You also have a grill hut sauna at your disposal.

The cottage has a brand new interior and a renovated sauna (with its own entrance) with an eco toilet, in summer only the outdoor eco toilet is in use. In addition, the atmosphere in the cottage is created by a fireplace and magnificent views of the lake. There is also no light pollution here, so you can watch the northern lights even while lounging in bed.

The cottages in the Village of Silence were hand-carved 30 years ago. In 2023, the cottages will be completely renovated. The cottage has its own toilet, coffee maker, kettle, microwave and fridge. On the terrace of the cottage there is a wood-fired hot tub. The hot tub can be ordered separately. There is a main building in the area where you will find a restaurant with a full license, serving breakfast and dinner on request.
