Beautiful cottage style house with garden and with amazing views in the quiet town of Skrad. 100 meters away there are a few cute cafes that are always open to serve you a coffee or beer. Skrad also has two small supermarkets with all essentials. Unfortunately it misses a bakery, which are usually amazing in Croatia. One thing to keep in mind if you're coming with a dog is that the back garden is not fenced off so you'll need to keep an eye on your dog not to leave the garden, but other than that our dog loved playing in the garden with his ball and laying in the sun on the grass.

Wir hatten in dem wunderschönen Haus von Selma einen wahnsinnig schönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Die Lage, quasi mitten im Wald, war unbeschreiblich schön. Man kann gar nicht beschreiben wie liebevoll die Unterkunft von Selma gestaltet ist. Es fehlt an absolut nichts und alles war blitzblank sauber als wir angekommen waren. Selma war eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die immer erreichbar war und uns auch viele tolle Tipps gegeben hat. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Danke für die schöne Zeit 😊

One of the nicest and down to earth hosts by far. we had zero complications and received short and clear instructions and any help that we needed. highly recommend, the place is spacious, clean and nicely furnished

Virkelig en fantastisk lille perle midt i det hele. Tæt på aktiviteter og indkøb. Værts familien var behjælpelig med alt i mellem stort og småt. Der var ikke det problem som ikke kunne løses. Der er ro, vin, udsigt og masser af gode vandreruter, cykelruter og oplevelser lige i nærheden. Helt klart nemmest med en bil men cykel kan også bruges.

A great house with stunning architecture and furnishings. The surrounding nature is peaceful and beautiful. We had a surreal experience in the outdoor jacuzzi, surrounded by forest. On arrival, we were welcomed with a bottle of red wine and treats for the kids. They loved the play area, which had books, board games, and a PS5. The fireplace added a cozy touch to the evening atmosphere. The host was very responsive and helpful. That said, there are a few downsides. The property isn’t fenced, and the main road is quite close, something not shown clearly in the photos. With several kids, we had to stay alert. There’s also a steep cliff next to the jacuzzi. The rope fence there is purely decorative and doesn’t offer real safety for small children. In summary, the listing photos don’t make it clear that the house isn’t fully secluded. The shots are taken with the road always behind the photographer. These comments might be nitpicking, but considering the price I think it’s justified.

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place this is the right property for you. Beautiful location and surroundings. Vasja was a great host, very responsive, kind, helpful and knowledgeable and the house is very well equipped. Thanks again for your hospitality.

First of all Branko the host is an awesome guy. Very friendly, has cool stories and you can see he loves that place. Everything is as you would imagine - a lovely 150+ year old cottage in the middle of nowhere. It is super super relaxing and quiet and at night can be a bit creepy if you are not used to it ;) you have so many things to do if you want to and Branko is a superb host that will help you with everything you need and will show you many things you can do. I can recommend everyone who wants a quiet, different and maybe even adventures (if you want to) vacation to check out this cottage and hhave a good chat with Branko!

Ana bietet eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft für einen Urlaub an. Ich war gemeinsam mit meinen Mann unserem Kind und Hund vor Ort. Das Haus war makellos sauber, sehr geräumig und durch die Klimaanlage auch angenehm kühl trotz der heißen Tage. In der Küche findet ihr alles was ihr benötigt und noch ein bisschen mehr. Die gesamte Ausstattung ist wie beschrieben. Vom Grundstück seid ihr direkt am See, welcher sauber, klar und wunderschön ist. Für Kinder super zum Spielen und die Eltern können am Ufer entspannen. Etwa 50 Meter weiter rechts befindet sich ein Spielplatz, welcher von allen Kindern genutzt wird. Nebenan ist ein kleiner Campingplatz dadurch sind ein paar Urlauber im Ort. Generell aber ist es eher ruhig in der Stadt. Alle Ortsbewohner sowie auch Ana sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider mussten wir aus privaten Gründen vorzeitig abreisen. Hier hat uns Ana ganz lieb geholfen und war jederzeit erreichbar für uns. Vielen Dank für Alles.
