Allan's home was a perfect place for us to stay while in Tortuguero. He was a very responsive host and the location was great. Nothing is far in Tortuguero. Clean and comfortable with a fully shaded patio which was SO welcomed during the heat of the day. Would book again for any future trip.

I really enjoyed staying at Lorena’s cabin on the Rio Blanco: the river is absolutely gorgeous, the hike to river is beautiful and fun, and the home is beautiful and comfortable- didn’t even need any AC! The air flow was easy, not many bugs, and the air smelled so rich. We enjoyed the above ground pool - so cool after the car ride from the coast! Thank you, Lorena, for sharing your beautiful space with us: what a blessing!

A very pleasant stay A welcome like you rarely see. Generous and thoughtful. Our hosts were really friendly and they took time to show us around the gardens and superb fresh fruit had been prepared for us. This is a super nice site a little secluded and very quiet. The beautiful large house was exactly fitting for our needs and very comfortable. We highly recommend this cottage.

Perfect home just as described. Super secure with all things needed for a relaxing stay. The host is super easy to communicate with and was quick to respond to any questions. She was so kind.

Heidy's place is a perfectly located, cosy spot from which to explore Tortuguero, relax and go to the beach. Less than five minutes walk to centre of town and boat drop off and pick up place, at one end of the street and beach at the other. It is also very quiet and private, we enjoyed using the patio for quiet meals or drinks. The beach is beautiful and their was a sloth one night in a coconut tree on the beach. Heidy had arranged for us to be met when we stepped off the boat and a local guide showed us to the flat. Heidy was always super responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. Please note there is no air-conditioning or hot water in the shower, but that didn't bother us, the fan kept us cool at night. I would love to come back to Tortuguero and hope to stay at Heidy's again.

He was a very friendly host, he was always willing to recommend the best alternative for our stay in the area. She accompanied us to some of the activities done. Both he and his son were always willing to provide the greatest collaboration

I have stayed at many Airbnb’s in multiple countries. This place was the most lovingly-created. Truly a fun little “park” to enjoy in the “jungle”: Can’t wait to go back.

Vicky is an amazing host! Super friendly and resourceful. Her recommendations were excellent. We opted to go with Sambola Tours as she recommended them and it was worth every penny. Perfect stay for our 2 nights in Tortuguero for my boyfriend and I. We had 2 days full of activities. Vicky's place had super comfortable bed to rest after all of our tours. The room cool down super fast once we turned the AC on but it stayed pretty cool with the curtains closed. Hot water for showers is available. Close to everything: beach, harbour, and national park. Located mid town. 1 block to and from the boat taxis. This place is great for people traveling light. We each had 1 large suitcase and had just enough room but it might be a tight space for someone with more luggage or more than 2 adults. Great value and location!

An excellent place for both a day and a week's stay. I was there the whole week and a very friendly hostess in everything from the beginning. She told us everything and helped us in situations outside her responsibility. The place is impeccable, on the road, easy access, its own parking and a beautiful apartment with air conditioning. It fulfills everything that is indicated and the truth is, it is highly recommended both for those who want to spend the night before going to Tortuguero and those who want to stay longer. A very rich menu of meals with excellent service. Very grateful to Mrs. Ester and I hope to return soon. Thank you very much for the hospitality and excellent treatment. Highly recommended.

The apartment is as it appears in the photos; it is small but very comfortable. I always felt very safe. I'm always looking for places to work and I would definitely come back. The host was always attentive, kind and answered quickly.
