This place was absolutely beautiful you could see into the jungle as well and see toucans and monkeys plus more it was absolutely wonderful. I would 100% book again. For it only being the first time in Costa Rica. Jeff the host was wonderful and helped out a lot.

One of my favorite Airbnb experiences (and there's been a LOT)! Getting there is a bit tricky, you do need a 4X4 to get up/down the hillside. But once you are there: TOTALLY worth it! Once you get the hang of the driving, it's not bad. The space is a bit smaller than it looked from the photos, but it's perfectly fine. Everything was spotless, so thoughtfully appointed. They've put a lot of consideration into their location. The hospitality was also amazing with a large bowl of fresh fruit and fresh baked cakes nearly each day. Super helpful advice on sightseeing as well. The best part: WILDLIFE! We arrived to a sloth just meters away that we watched from our balcony for 3 days in a row. By the pool was a momma and baby. The howler monkeys were EVERYWHERE, as were the birds, frogs, and other small critters. It was beyond any expectation. I truly cannot wait to return and I'll look to rebook this place without hesitation. Beyond lovely experience.

The bungalow was private, comfortable amd cozy. We loved it. Iris and Kirk welcomed us upon our arrival and we found them to be incredible hosts. We see them as friends. It was my birthday trip and Iris made me cookies. We could not have asked for more. We intend to return. Loved everything about it!

Great place, a little bit of a walk from town, not bad at all though, they provide some amazing bikes which is super helpful. Would stay again.

Natacha was great and amazing with us !! She communicated well with us and helped us arrange anything we wanted to do or looking for. If we needed information about anything she was always accommodating us. She did not come back with just one recommendation but several. Always checking in on how we were doing, and if everything was OK, or if we needed anything. La Casa Del Mango was very clean and well organized. The amenities, awesome, well stocked with everything you would need. This whole place is amazing. Oh !! did I mention the pool, amazing. Oh !! did I mention Martin (Natacha husband) super nice, also amazing, Oh !! did I mention the wildlife, amazing. I can keep on going, and going, about La Casa Del Mango in a positive direction but I will end this review with saying that La casa definitely deserves 5 stars out of 5. Nope !!!! no negatives from our family vacation, would recommend to anyone.

What an amazing home!!! The pool was absolutely beautiful. The home felt private and safe. The kitchen was well equipped and the home was just as described. We absolutely loved our stay here and would 100% return!

We just absolutely LOVED our stay at John’s Airbnb! Lots of little critters running around and just a short walk from the beach!

This is a beautiful hidden treasure in the jungle. We enjoyed the home and the property. The waterfall is spectacular.

We seriously loved this place! It’s peaceful, and has wonderful views and sounds. It’s also close by to so many things to do in Uvita! The area is closed off by a gate and requires a code, so we left extremely safe. During the rainy season the terrain to get to the Airbnb gets slick so make sure you have an AWD/4x4 it will help a lot! The AC worked great, cooled the whole place really well and of course Natasha was extremely helpful with helping us get some activities planned, I highly recommend going through her! Horseback riding and a beach day were totally worth it!

Carolina is always very attentive and respectful. I go three times a month and I love how Carolina helps us and treats us with great respect.

Yoshi’s place was absolutely stunning. Right on the beach front of the beautiful black sand beach but perfectly secluded at the same time so you feel like you’re in your own slice of paradise. Yoshua was super helpful and gave us lots of recommendations for authentic local cuisine and fun activities. Would recommend to anyone staying in Puerto Viejo!
