Trystan was an incredibly kind and helpful host, really accommodating and went out of his way to make sure all of the kiddies were happy and comfortable. If you’re looking for child friendly accommodation this is it, there is every kind of toy and car available for the kids to play with, very easy and a fun house to stay in. Beautiful gardens and a great location.

This property’s location is perfect, whether you want to stay on-site and enjoy the vistas of Dartmouth or use it as a base to thoroughly explore the environs. It’s only a short walk into Kingswear, where there is a car or foot ferry to get across to Dartmouth or the steam train which will take you to Paignton. Communication with Mark was thorough during every stage of the booking and stay. The accommodation is divine and we’ve rarely slept so well; a combination of the Savoir bed and serenity within this hillside property. Nothing about the host, property or location could be faulted; exemplary in every aspect.

Splendour House was just what we expected for an extended family holiday in Paignton. All facilities were available which was good as the weather was not what we’d hoped for. Tom is a great host and would recommend Splendour House to large families for its location and enclosed back garden. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Tom & Co.

We had a beautiful stay at this place. It was perfect for a group of friends wanting to explore parts of Cornwall. The place was spacious and airy, and we had a great time using the hot tub! The place was tidy and it was a very comfortable stay. Connor was very responsive and helpful, and gave clear instructions and was always there to answer. The place was very near to Eden Project, just 15 minute drive and other places with spectacular beaches and small coastal towns. We would highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a touch of luxury, in a peaceful beach location, with everything you could possibly need, look no further! This place e is brand new, looks even better than the pictures. It had every single thing you could possibly need and more. Even the welcome gifts were amazing. The view is stunning, and we had perfect weather. The hot tub is massive. The location is a quiet dead end just a 5 minute walk from an excellent Tapas restaurant, a pub and the beach. Celebrated my 50th here with family and it was just brilliant. I’ve already recommended to all my friends.

Your quick responses made everything so easy, and the beautiful birthday basket you left for me was such a kind and unexpected gesture that really made my day. Shackled-Am-Not is definitely at the top of places we have stayed at. From the luxurious kitchen with plenty of kitchen gadgets and lots of equipment for the whole family, to the beautiful lounge area with plenty of seating for everyone to have a great catch up on the evening. The bedrooms were so clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathrooms was a lovely luxury. We enjoyed the games room playing pool and darts. Would like to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again. We had a wonderful stay at the lodge - it was the perfect base for us to explore the beautiful surroundings for a few days, and get ready with our friends for a wedding nearby. The lodge feels private and peaceful and has been decorated really nicely. Great supplies throughout the lodge and helpful local advice on things to do. We would highly recommend!

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.

This Airbnb exceeded expectations. Super clean, in a lovely and peaceful area, and the hot tub was absolutely the highlight – so relaxing! The sauna was a great bonus too. For the price, it was an incredible value. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Kamila’s place to celebrate my birthday, and it was the perfect weekend getaway. The place was absolutely spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were stunning and the setting felt peaceful and private, which made it even more special. The hot tub was a definite highlight, so relaxing, and the kids had an amazing time too. Every detail was well thought out, and the whole experience was enjoyable. I had a fantastic birthday weekend and would highly recommend Kamila’s place to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and beautiful spot to relax.

we had a fantastic stay here, the signal box was gorgeous and well equipped with everything you need and more! Nice touches of shampoos and shower gels incase we'd forgotten, a bottle of fizz and a jug of milk in the fridge also! We found the property to be clean and welcoming and hot tub was excellent and clean. we thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous pet sheep that came to see us everyday 😍 The view from the property is amazing and the sunrise was to die for! we had dinner at The springer Spaniel one evening, lovely food and great cocktails!! we would easily recommend this gorgeous place and jacqui is a lovely welcoming helpful host! we hope to be back soon! one of the best and most peaceful places we have ever stayed! lovely location, beautiful garden, privacy and a great hotub! kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice dinner and the lodge itself is beautiful. we had a great time and even with some heavy rain it was great. don't expect to be connected to the outside world as phone and Internet is almost non-existent, but that is what is so relaxing about this place! Lovely location with beautiful views. Secure garden to allow dogs to run around freely, which mine loved. It was my first trip away with both of my dogs and I was a bit worried about it, but it was perfect. Hosts are very welcoming to dogs as well which made me feel more at ease. Hot tub was great. Lots of different areas in the garden to relax.

I dont think the photos do it justice with how nice this place was! There were so many finishing touches that made it feel like a spa retreat more than just a place to stay. The instructions on getting there were spot on and the host was so friendly and welcoming. We could have happily stayed for a month, shame we only had a weekend free 😊

The location and amenities were great .The only problem was that the local village isn't really wheelchair friendly with very thin paths or none at all but apart from that everything else was spot on .

I booked this as a get away from it all break for my husband’s 60th birthday and it did not disappoint. Genuinely, there are not enough words to describe how perfect this place is- it’s like being wrapped in a warm hug! The setting is peaceful and private and the cabin is pure luxury- the most comfortable bed ever, gorgeous complimentary toiletries, lovely hot tub and a well stocked welcome hamper. Claire also left us a lovely birthday message, balloons and bubbly - those personal touches were so special. We didn’t leave the cabin for the whole weekend - well, just to have amazing massages (a must if you stay!) - as we just wanted to step out of the hustle and bustle of our busy lives for a short time. This is the perfect place to do that and we will definitely return as this is such a special place.
